1. [+3,985, -317] Why is she getting hate though??? I seriously don't get it..

2. [+2,930, -296] Why is it the men who are getting up in arms over a book written about the experiences of women that other women are relating to?

3. [+962, -199] I never cared about this book before but seeing all these men get up in arms is making me want to buy it and read it

4. [+488, -36] She is an actress who is acting a role in this movie, I don't get the fuss

5. [+374, -23] I don't get why a book about the experiences of any average mother, neighbor, friend, daughter, or niece is considered feminist propaganda? Then what about all the books about the life of fathers? Autobiographies about men? Please stop forcing your interpretations of these ideas on this book. Think of the mother who raised you.

6. [+308, -18] Women relate to this book because they've experienced something similar to a story in it. I don't get why men who have never experienced anything in the book are the ones calling the book a lie?

7. [+200, -17] I seriously don't get why men are calling this book feminist. It's an exact retelling of my mother's life and stories that I can relate to as her daughter... I guess to men who have never experienced such things might think it's feminist but that's so out there.

8. [+122, -11] I'm a '99er and I've experienced the stories written in the book. Why is it the men who are claiming that women never experienced this when they aren't women to begin with??

1. [+2,923, -1,024]  ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ To all the men saying they'll be skipping this movie ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Hey, you guys worry about putting food on your own tables. Jung Yoomi doesn't give a crap about whether you skip her movies or not.. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Just look at them running their mouths about feminist this and that.. pathetic..

2. [+2,621, -984] Men keep whining that they can't relate to this book but try gifting any woman this book, even the ones who don't care about feminism, and they'll relate to it in some way after reading it..

3. [+1,847, -910] This book is so controversial that anyone who even goes near it is deemed controversial. I purposely avoided reading it for that reason but I think it's wrong that she's getting so much hate for this. I'm going to find the time to read this.

4. [+322, -118] How are we as a society witch hunting someone just for reading a book?

5. [+294, -107] Men haven't even read the book and are just mad because women relate to it ㅎ Go gift it to your own mothers, she'll be the one crying at how hard she can relate to it;

6. [+230, -81] It doesn't matter how many men say they'll be "skipping this movie", they have no cultural impact at all. The biggest consumers of cultural content in this generation are women in their twenties and thirties. Men do not open their wallets on cultural content. Creators of books, webtoons, concerts, and musicals know where the money is at. 80-90% of the sales are from female consumers. If men want their words to mean anything at all, then they need to start showing up with their wallets open. Stop downloading porno illegally and start figuring out your rights as a consumer in cultural content.

7. [+157, -47] Of course it's hard to relate to something you've never experienced. As a woman, I can't relate when men talk about their experience in the army but I never think to put them down for it because I know the two years of suffering that was involved. Can we please work on understanding both sides even if we can't necessarily relate?

8. [+153, -205] 'Kim Ji Young Weight 82 Kg' is not a story about one specific person. It's a story about all modern women living in our generation. It is a story of their lives as it is. I hope that this movie is produced well and rings a bell to our current reality.
