Follow Up: Gaeko and Simon D release their own diss tracks

Article: Gaeko releases E-Sens diss "You're brainless, all you know how to do is whine"

Source: Newsen via Nate [2]

1. [+1,865, -968] Why did he leave the part out about the million dollars? Instead, he brought up the marijuana issue again ㅋㅋ Poor move on his part...

2. [+1,147, -261] They're both such great rappers, there's nothing to criticize...

3. [+1,229, -356] There seems to be some truth to that million dollar claim ㅋㅋㅋ He didn't bring it up at all and resorted to what everyone knew he'd resort to talking about, the marijuana ㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+648, -186] Personally... Right when I listened to it.. the lyrics seem well written but there's no punch to them. There's nothing about them that make you think, "Wooow, E-Sens got owned."

5. [+634, -198] His lyrics have no punch;;; I don't think the point of this diss battle was supposed to be about his marijuana issue anyway

Article: Simon D responds to Swings diss... "You XX"

Source: No Cut News via Nate

1. [+249, -38] Swings totally got owned, this is a complete victory for SImon D. Poor Swings saying there's a part three... does he even have anything more to say other than f*ck, f*ck, f*ck?

2. [+231, -30] Simon D wins!

3. [+205, -30] Finally... the real man has arrived.

4. [+53, -2] I almost pissed my pants during the part in Simon D's lyrics where he said, "You have no right to talk about the truth ('Jin shil'), you got yourself in hot waters over that before, didn't you" ㅋ Referencing to when Swings talked bad about the late Choi Jin Shil.

5. [+29, -0] Swings got owned so hard ㅋㅋㅋ It's almost like he sacrificed himself to fire up this diss battle even further ㅋㅋ

Article: Hip hop becomes ablaze with diss batles, why? Where did it all begin?

Source: OSEN via Naver

1. [+76, -10] This is what Korean hip hop should be like. Idols think rapping is when you talk really fast while underground rappers who go mainstream whine about love for that extra cash... This is the time the Korean hip hop scene needs some change.

2. [+49, -3] It'd be so hilarious if Defconn who spent all this time making random foods on Radio Star and Happy Together got pissed off with all the disses and made his own gangster raps ㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+39, -2] I'm not familiar with hip hop myself but I think all of the losers commenting about how a diss isn't a diss just because it has some swears in it are pathetic. The Korean hip hop scene is so small, these rappers all know each other and are connected in some way. You can see random YouTube videos and see so many random rappers actually have connections to each other. In such a small scene, imagine having to put out a diss track where it's a friend or a friend of a friend that's going to be affected. That's why this diss battle is as huge as it is right now, all things considered.

4. [+40, -11] This is how hip hop should be, it's way more fun this way ㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+23, -2] Just give it time... These rappers will all go back to whining about love again once it's all over.

  3. Track wise, Gaeko's > E-sens' > Simon D's.

GG Swings the shit you got yourself involved into.

    E-SENS all the way yo!

    ReplyDelete
  4. 2. [+231, -30] Simon D wins!

    AGREED. He killed that shit!

    ReplyDelete
  5. No this is not what any Hip Hop scene should be. Hip Hop is about sending a message towards society, not towards fellow rappers..

    ReplyDelete
  6. Gaeko's rap's lyrics really had no weight to them.

I'm getting fairly tired of listening to the same beat though, it's all about Control.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I don't know what the hell is going on, but I'm enjoying all the tracks being released. Lmao.

Fuck Swings, tho. Seriously. Anyone who talks shit about Choi Jin Sil can go fuck themselves. End.

  11. I heard D Unit is coming out with a diss record smh.

    ReplyDelete
  12. They shouldn't get involved-_-

    ReplyDelete
  13. I'm just glad that Simon D and E-Sens didn't dissing each other.

After Simon D released his track, Swings tweeted about King Swings Part 3. Can't he just shut the hell up and just stop?!! He'll just embarrassing himself more and ruin the fun!

As Demento said, "I think this ain't no rap game no more. Fight of truths."

    ReplyDelete
  14. anything for publicity

    ReplyDelete
  15. it is, from the start kkk
I just like it since it means more to listen
its been a while since all these rapper get all productive

    ReplyDelete
  16. You don't have to diss someone to be considered a good hip-hop artist or rapper. Plenty of rappers rap well and are considered great legends just by rapping about everyday life and struggles in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's a shame tho, it's none of their concern.

    ReplyDelete
  18. THIS

anyway, did u guys talk about this last night?? im overslept TT

    ReplyDelete
  19. maybe their own problem diss track not about this case

    ReplyDelete
  20. IKR but life is so hard for a kpop group you have to do anything for attention.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ssamd just killed Swings, man!

"I couldn't hold hands with either one. I always held tightly onto my little brother's wrist." ㅡ Simon D about E-Sens" i cried.

    ReplyDelete
  22. [+23, -2] Just give it time... These rappers will all go back to whining about love again once it's all over.

    the T

it's all purposeless. It's really only for entertainment lol. If anyone for a second thinks that "true hip-hop" is about animosity and diss tracks, they're deluded.

    ReplyDelete
  23. They tweeted about dowloading control. So I think going to get some shine off this fresh publicity.

    ReplyDelete
  24. time for Amber and Nicole Jung to step into the ring and destroy these tryhards.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yup, you said it-_-If they do say something, they might not get the best response...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Pffft yeah right, kris and Minho gonna burn these fool with their lyrics

    ReplyDelete
  27. No knetz hip hop is a fight against society and making a change not a fight against each other

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yes, but only Rin and I did. I already guessed that since no one else but only Rin was on TL ^^

    ReplyDelete
  29. Judging by the netizen comments about Idols I don't think they care about positive or negative responses they wants some publicity and to gain some profits from this moment sadly.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Nah king of rap yunho gonna merk em all

    ReplyDelete
  31. yes. this is all so embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. no. Hyuna's gonna bubble pop him off the game.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not supporting all this mud-slinging but Ssam D/Simon D freaking KILLED Swings. If Swings is seriously gonna keep this up I don't really know what to say at this point, other than the fact that he's milking this for attention. He's a fucking idiot for starting a lot of the trouble in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I literally cried reading both the lyrics of both tracks T.T

    ReplyDelete
  38. Simon D and Esens still are close yet swings trying to pit them against each other.

Simon D put swings ass in his place. Dang Ssam sarainye. At least he proved he wasn't a wuss. spitting fireeee

    ReplyDelete
  39. niggas think they are hardcore they are just a bunch of wannabe rappers just 'cause kendrick went hard this nugus want to copy him really unoriginal.

    ReplyDelete
  40. #1 honestly starting to believe these knetz are secretly obsessed with idols they bring them up no matter the situation

    ReplyDelete
  41. pfft what a bunch of tryhards ㅋㅋㅋ

    ReplyDelete
  42. http://onehallyu.com/index.php?/topic/19300-shit-going-down-in-the-khiphop-scene-e-sens-calls-out-amoeba-cuture/

    ReplyDelete
  43. Also, I see a lot of people commenting here and on AKP and tumblr and so on about how they should 'talk it out' or some shit. That's what they're doing. Tbh, this really has been needed in the K-hip hop community. Someone referred to it as a cleansing, and I think that's the most appropriate way to approach it.

While the whole E-sens/Amoeba thing is sort of turning into a scandal in itself, people are forgetting the main reason this whole thing started. Swings released the track, not so much as a diss, but to address a huge issue in the current hip hop culture in Korea. There are serious problems going on in the genre, and this is how they're working it out. Heck, the amount of rappers I've seen making their own versions of Control for shits n giggles over the past two days is astounding. And that shows that this is kind of working. People are getting hyped about music again, and they're throwing themselves into their work. Tbh, I think that's fucking awesome.

If there's personal issues, I hope by all means that they work it out or whatever, but do understand, this is a matter of music. And they're dealing with it through music. It stretches farther than Dynamic Duo and Swings and E-sens and Simon D. Look into the whole movement. It's the kick up the arse that hip hop has needed for a while now.

    ReplyDelete
  44. lol rolling my eyes at "dis is what hip hop is about!1!"

no it isn't. sit the fuck down, basement dwellers.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yep right now Macklemore is rising in the western hip hop scene for rapping about same sex love, money issues and fighting drug addictions... people are starting to want real rap, not rap about love, sex and how much money you've got in your bank :p

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wait for 2PM who will never going down without a fight..aight~

    ReplyDelete
  47. Talib Kweli, Rakim, Nas

    ReplyDelete
  48. watching knetz harp on "real hip hop". call me when u don't hide in the cupboard and shit ur pants at the sight of a black person.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I kinda agree with this,,I love how all the tracks keep coming out,,,its not everyday they become this productive
though I still hope theres no ill feeling after this

    ReplyDelete
  50. Track comments from NB users in this article. They explained it pretty well http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2013/08/e-sens-sparks-diss-battle.html

    ReplyDelete
  51. Where can I read the '' eng'' lyrics?

    ReplyDelete
  52. this is a wannabe hiphop circle which got their ideas from hiphop in the US, now cause kendrick came out with a diss song that got everyone heated here in the US nugus thought lets copy US rappers and release a diss song here in korea too Tsk Tsk Tsk

    ReplyDelete
  53. “E-Sens will forever be with me as my dongseng, a brother stronger than blood, and my all-time #1 rapper (I’m with him, but I feel like it’d be embarrassing, so I’m writing this from the bathroom)”
    — Simon D”s twitter 120831

    cries.

    ReplyDelete
  54. But I suppose this is a part of their everyday life, this whole thing started because of people being called out out over the stagnation of their music. It *is* their struggle that they're talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  55. actually diss battles like that existed since the beginning of hip hop so yes, they're part of that hip hop culture, however, you're right about that message towards society thing - that should be a number one priority

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'm not familiar with the Swings + Choi Jin Sil issue... can you explain please?

    ReplyDelete
  57. I want Tiger Jk, Tasha and Vasco to join this diss battle tbh, life complete

    ReplyDelete
  58. i lol at how they say how they are true rappers but most of them sold out once they went mainstream and portrayed themselves as idols...

    ReplyDelete
  59. can someone tell me who's Kendrick? and what did Swings said about Choi Jin Sil ?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Idols shouldn't really be mentioned here tbh but lol

    ReplyDelete
  61. Poor DEfconn, he didn't step into the game but yet he might be the real loser :/

    ReplyDelete
  62. it's not their "fight"

    ReplyDelete
  63. kendrick is a rapper signed by Jay-z he did a featuring in a BigSean track called control where he subliminally dissed a couple of rappers in the US

    ReplyDelete
  64. Kendrick lamar. He featured on Big Sean's track control and called out nearly every american rapper, and sparking this ENTIRE thing

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm so confused. How did this whole thing start?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I was surprised that this time AKP translated them first http://www.allkpop.com/article/2013/08/e-sens-responds-to-gaeko-with-true-story-and-simon-d-drops-control-in-response-to-swings

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hip hop is not about dissing it's about sending a message and talking about life hardships...listen to 2pac ghetto gospel and changes and other rappers who go hard about the system and changing the system

    ReplyDelete
  68. Not really. The only one is swings he needs to take a seat.

But Simon D, E-Sens and Gaeko actually have a reason. This is so much better actually rapping about than press releases that usually play the said she said game.

And seriously most people who are commenting on the issue probably didn't even listen to half the diss tracks out right now. There are currently 23 diss track from various underground rappers that sparked from this Kendrick Lamar thing. And yes there are some where they are dissing each other. But a lot of them are dissing the current korean hip hop scenes and the issues with it. Stuff that's not childish but legit affecting the people who are current in the scene

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hip hop is about truth, and this is how they're approaching it. It's being labelled as 'dissing' so it seems a lot worse than it really is, but without sounding gushy, this is a bunch of musicians coming clean and being honest about how they feel.

So depending on how you look at it, this is what hip hop is about. Especially in contrast to the recent hip hop scene.

    ReplyDelete
  70. kendrick lamar is an american rapper, he released 'control' that apparently stimulate other rappers
then its effect cross into korea because swings made diss track, and he used it as its compannion,,
then the after effect is also similar with kendrick, so yeah

i dont know anything bout choi jinshil

    ReplyDelete
  71. I know, I was just saying.

    ReplyDelete
  72. he didnt release control, Control is a song by Big Sean and kendrick did a featuring on it around 1 verse.

    ReplyDelete
  73. i honestly teared up while listening it's like they were backing each other up but ssam d had to hold back because of amoeba

    ReplyDelete
  74. It must suck for these guys, how so many people equate Kpop with Korean music. No offense to Kpop fans, but the current state of Kpop sucks donkey ass. Horrible music I can excuse to some extent, but most of the groups are not even entertaining. People just hanging in there, because they think they have to be loyal to their fandoms. Sorry, went off topic a bit, but at least for once people realize Kpop is just one aspect of Korean music.

    ReplyDelete
  75. They did! O.o

    Thank you *.*

    ReplyDelete
  76. Did you even listen to half the diss tracks?

There are current 23 diss tracks that got released in the last few days and yes there are some that are dissing each other. But plenty of them are dissing the current korean hip hop scene. Issues that are affecting the people in the scene. Like all these shit ass rookies debut and basically clustering up the scene, or how you have to pay attention female fans, etc

All these people are commenting without actually knowing what's going on.

And hip hop has always been about dissing. That was how it pretty much got started.

    ReplyDelete

  78. the song that started the whole kendrick lamar effect and where this nugus got the idea of copying and tryin to sound hood making diss songs.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkZZo0XSm5s

    ReplyDelete
  79. Pshhh Ayo GG is gonna get them

    ReplyDelete
  80. True, but Hip Hop, even American Hip Hop has turned to rapping about crap - cars, girls and diss battles.

    ReplyDelete
  81. pains my heart ;u;,gaeko has /really/ got some explaining to do

    ReplyDelete
  82. look at this hipster

    ReplyDelete
  83. I wonder if koreans actually know hip-hop at all...
Gangster rap ? They would piss in their pants if they met real gangsters.

    ReplyDelete
  84. on twitter he said he's going to release part 3 of king swings he needs to fuck off.it's got nothing to do with him.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Let's cry together T.T

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh dear god. I just hope Janey doesn't become a part of that she's far too young even if she's a decent idol rapper :/
Even then, D Unit needs to step off lol unless they're gonna make a REALLY good track that actually has some substance and reason in it (I don't want them to randomly diss SNSD or other idol groups for no reason that'd be suicide for them).

    ReplyDelete
  87. /holds; i love(d?!) T_T supreme team man.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Lol who r the hell are they going to diss tho?

    ReplyDelete
  89. 3. [+1,229, -356] There seems to be some truth to that million dollar claim ㅋㅋㅋ He didn't bring it up at all and resorted to what everyone knew he'd resort to talking about, the marijuana ㅋㅋㅋ

His response was weak. He basically just called E-Sens a pothead and an attention seeker, didn't address anything E-Sens dissed about which makes E-Sen's response much more truthful. Obviously E-Sens was fucked over.

    ReplyDelete
  90. "It's almost like he sacrificed himself to fire up this diss battle even further" because he's not our hero. he's a silent guardian. a watchful protector.

"underground rappers who go mainstream whine about love for that extra cash" everyone's got bills to pay

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ugh!!! I haven't listened to Ssam D's rap yet! Someone tell me what it basically means please!!

    ReplyDelete
  92. It's up on AKP...altho it's not the best translation

    ReplyDelete
  93. There's rumor that all these happened to publicity "One Hiphop Festival" in September. But, who knows??
One thing for sure, this Swings vs Everyone war is a battle of bunch great rappers who used to be friends!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Claps to comment 3 of the last article. It really hit me and put me into the korean hip hop perspective in that everyone really is connected with each other. Swings put out one track that mentioned a crew then the crew members, friends of the crew members, labelmates, and EVERYBODY hopped on. Truly feels like a small world.

    ReplyDelete
  95. http://www.allkpop.com/article/2013/08/e-sens-responds-to-gaeko-with-true-story-and-simon-d-drops-control-in-response-to-swings

    ReplyDelete
  96. Does anyone know what Swings said about Choi Jin Shil? What the fuck is wrong with this dude?
Embarrassing that he got tore down during the battle he started.

    ReplyDelete
  97. So did I, still loving and supporting Ssam D and E-Sens though they chose different path...

    ReplyDelete
  98. Hip Hop is about expression. That is what they're doing.

    ReplyDelete
  99. he's so annoying and needs to stop but noooo off he goes about releasing part 3 even though they made him look even more immature than he is.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Sens' reply was harping so much on the $$$ .... Wonder how Gaeko's gonna reply. Just saw rough translations and I think Ssam D's one was strong

    ReplyDelete
  101. IKR. Talking about Kpop in a hip hop article

    ReplyDelete
  102. So many people are mad in here with their dictionary definitions of hip hop.

    ReplyDelete
  103. "And hip hop has always been about dissing. That was how it pretty much got started."
    ...No it isn't.
Anyway, nothing beats Ether and Hit em up. Greatest diss tracks released during the greatest hip hop battles.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Tiger has enough fights on his own lol

    ReplyDelete
  105. i want to listen to those disses.. where can i find them?

    ReplyDelete
  106. I don't think they're calling out Idol groups( even though the evil side of me wishes that would happen) I think they're just trying to build suspense and gain attention.

    ReplyDelete
  107. yeah,it's such a shame but now double d,gaeko idk anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  108. wtf gaeko's diss is lame as hell. who ever heard a rapper dissing another rapper for smoking marijuana

    ReplyDelete
  109. unchartedsound.blogspot.co.uk

    allkpop

    ReplyDelete
  110. I have no idea but oddly i do want them to stir up some controversy because im sick and twisted.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Look, I hate swings but if Kendrick gave him the motivation to air out his feelings then that's what happened. It kills me when people put down non American Hip hop and the slight racist undertones i.e. Koreans aren't black so they shouldn't be involved in what has become traditional in a UMIVERSAL genre.

    ReplyDelete
  112. So true. Tupac rarely talked about hoes and tricks. Most times he was talking about world issues. And he is most definitely one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rapper ever.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Fucking part 3 lol, he really wants that attention. I can't look.

    ReplyDelete
  114. He's not signed by Jay Z he signed by Dr Dre

    ReplyDelete
  115. this is not how hip hop should be. Koreans know shit about hiphop culture.

    ReplyDelete
  116. the majority of NB readers are Kpop fans, so who do you think is reading the article?

    ReplyDelete
  117. This comment section is like stepping into youtube comments on rap videos."Real rap","Tupac 4 lyfe".People actually suggesting dissing isn't one the the largest core parts of rap.

    Some serious cringe worthy shit.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Right ? It's funny how all these Knetizens are calling this "true Hip hop".. just shows they know jackshit about Hip hop

    ReplyDelete
  119. I feel like you're one of the only people talking logic in the comments.

    ReplyDelete
  120. "Tupac rarely talked about hoes and tricks"

    LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  121. After E-Sens second release. I think it's obvious he's the one telling the truth. Amoeba Culture sold him out and even media played his scandal. Simon D chose to stay because of money (not blaming him, bro code doesn't pay bills after all). But yeah Amoeba Culture is shady (Gaecko, couldn't even defend himself with his rap, yes he had nice flow, but the content was weak) and them trying to black ball E-sens by demanding money from him, tsk, tsk.

    ReplyDelete
  122. This isn't even a diss circle. I don't know what this is. Its like a hardcore therapy session.
The thing about actual hip hop is that when rappers make diss tracks, they're dissing one another. Coming at each other raw, no feelings being aired or vented. They're putting each other out there and being straight up dirty about it. That's...not what this is.

    ReplyDelete
  123. you sound ignorant as fuck but ok

    ReplyDelete
  124. Swings just swore A LOT in his rap..didn't like it one bit..doesn't show creativity. it just shows that that's all the vocabulary he knows.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I don't think you understood my comment..

    ReplyDelete
  126. D Unit is a girl group right..? produced by Zico if i'm not mistaken..

    ReplyDelete
  127. Simon D's rap basically supports E-Sens. He admitted that he also has problems with Amoeba culture and he should have spoken up more. Then he disses Swings for claiming to have E-sens back. Who knows maybe Simon D can leave and reunite with E-sens when his AC contract is over.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I saw on twitter d-unit will join the battle too? Please no. Anyways,i think gaeko's lyrics are..ouch! I'm lovin this battle!!

    ReplyDelete
  129. D-UNIT???
Okay if it's true I'm walking out of this.

You can listen to E-Sens and Simon D's new tracks on AKP.

    ReplyDelete
  135. The guy contradicted himself all the time and he knew it. He had two sides of him, that's why. I mean, no one feels the same way all the time and he went through stages as well. His contents are good nonetheless.

    ReplyDelete
  136. LOL
    where are u come from??
its sundanese, if it translated it means Raiha the handsome one /embarassed
its pretty lame now but I already used it for 10years LOL

    ReplyDelete
  137. "Hip Hop is about sending a message towards society"

It's an art form, its not about any one thing, its about how and what the artist chooses to paint or rap in this case.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Gaeko can't say shit about the company because he & Choiza co-founded the company with the CEO. If he fires back by discussing the business, it's going to expose the financial skeleton of the company. Something no one in their right mind would ever do.

    ReplyDelete
  139. "American Hip Hop has turned to rapping about crap - cars, girls and diss battles"

So basically what tupac rapped about then?

    ReplyDelete
  140. It's not just for smoking marijuana, but for getting caught. The only time people care about other people smoking weed is when they get arrested for it. Until then, it's just whatevs.

  141. Is that the group Boram's little sister is in?

    ReplyDelete
  142. yes but I think Zico produced one song.

  143. He was well educated and knew exactly what he was doing. It wasn't "stages" it was acting.Look at the dudes interviews.

He was a great rapper,I just find all these comments rather ignorant of the man's career and discography.

  144. Quick summary for those that are lost.

*Swings decided to release a track, dissing many in K-HipHop, similar to the American rapper Kendrick Lamar, who released a rap verse calling out some big name American rappers.

*E-Sens then responded by calling out his former agency, Amoeba Culture, and one of the Dynamic Duo members, Gaeko. He accused them of treating him badly, and then demanding money from him, before terminating his contract.

*Then Swings released Part 2 – where he accused Simon D, E-Sens former group mate in the Supreme Team, for abandoning his brother to side with Amoeba Culture.

*Then Gaeko responded to E-Sens, but he didn’t address any of E-Sens claims, he just brought up his old marijuana scandal and called him a failure.

*Then E-Sens went nuclear and just opened up Amoeba Culture’s ass. How Gaeko was the one who called reporters to blow up his scandal, tried to sign him to a slave contract, demanded a million dollars from him and just being down right shady with threats to his family etc.

*Then Simon D, replied to Swings, basically telling him to stay out of his and E-Sens business. He admits to problems with Amoeba Culture and being caught between his Bro and his company, but still backing up E-Sens.

*Swings the one who started the whole thing, then promises a Part 3, which is where we are at the moment.

    To Be Continued :D…

  145. I wonder how much money Amoeba Culture was demanding from E-Sens. And for what reason. Because obviously, Simon D isn't having the same money issues as him.

If the company is demanding money back from E-Sens because of profits that were lost because of the marijuana scandal, then Gaeko's response would make a lot more sense.

  146. Honestly, I've only seen a few interviews of him and the only one I remember is when he went to jail. So I don't know if he's acting or not, but I like to believe that he had two sides of him. You mean the comments about how he didn't rap about "hoes"? Or the fact that his name was mentioned underneath the comment abut "not dissing"? Because I agree with you on those.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I'm tired of reading comments on here of how people are acting like what these rappers is saying ain't real hip-hop. like wtf is "true hip-hop" and why do they have to be labeled as "fake gangsters" just because they want to air someone out.

hip hop from long ago included disses and beef between the east and west coast, so I laugh at the stupid comments that say "true hip-hop is about encouragement"....yeah right go and clean out your ears and replay...

  148. probs publicity or satire

  149. is this one of oprah episode korean version or something? cause this is not hip hop

  150. ssamD show in some variety show,,though I doubt the salary is that high,,

    ReplyDelete
  151. He has a great interview pre-rap career when he like 17 and I think he was still a ballerina around then.He talks about respecting women but how he was always turned down for being a "nice guy" and that he thought he was better off being the "bad guy"

As far as most of the comments going on here about him its just cringe worthy. Most of his discography was about money, bitches, shooting people and dissing people.

    ReplyDelete
  152. 20 diss tracks later minho joins in defending idol rappers

  153. If what Swings said about Choi Jin Sil was anything like the bullshit people were saying after her death, he deserves to be punched in the fucking teeth.

Before Choi Jin Sil died, another actor committed suicide & people were blaming her for it. They said she was a loan shark. She refuted the claims that were started by some employees at a financial company.

Even so, the response on the internet was... awful. It was awful. The thought that Korea's most loved actress at the time could be involved & responsible for someone else's death was unthinkable, yet people were quick to believe it.

The reason why South Korea places such strict regulations on postings on the Internet now is because of Choi Jin Sil's death. The stress of people spreading rumors like that on the internet is what is thought to have cornered her emotionally & mentally.

    It's really sad.

  154. I don't know what their income distribution is like, but Simon D promoted as a solo artist for a while because of the scandal. It's understandable if the money he made during that time was money he kept for himself since E-Sens was on a hiatus.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Simon did good. He went all out for Swings but kept it cordial inregards to E.S and AC.

    ReplyDelete
  156. LOL omg I hope it's true. I just want to laugh right now. :x

    ReplyDelete
  157. Hang in there Defconn oppa!!! It'll blow over soon!!

    ReplyDelete
  158. I guess I agree with you, but this is super O/T.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Ah, I didn't know that. I should look up some interviews soon lol

He was a great rapper, but the fact that people comment his name all over youtube and stuff (on Lil wayne's videos for example) makes him seem overrrated. I think it's ok once in a while (like here) but not when people haven't even listened to any of his songs yet, which indeed is about shooting, dissing etc., and basically don't know about his discography, like you said.

    ReplyDelete
  160. it's already confirmed

  161. i hate Swings but I gotta give it to him...he made things interesting

  163. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ_GNeikLOI

    ReplyDelete
  164. Nope they were saying E-Sens owes them a million dollars. E-Sens was like I didn't make any profit of the album and now you are telling me the only way to stay in you company is to sign this one sided contract.

    ReplyDelete
  165. LmLmaOoo i lstened and rea simons d rap he B-U-T-C-H-E-R-E-D swings for real loool had me and my sis in here cracking up

    ReplyDelete
  166. Who is the JTONG Simon D is referring to, in his second verse?

Swings accused Amoeba Culture of ruining JTONG’s career. And Simon D responded by saying they never stole JTONG, because JTONG hated the time he was under Swings (Swing tried to sign him). JTONG is now signed to Amoeba Culture and is the leader of the Buckwilds crew. JTONG is more hardcore than the others and for his 찌찌뽕 MV he recorded 2 versions – the (very) dirty version and the clean version. Allegedly, AC uploaded the dirty version and labeled it as clean, some believe as a publicity stunt. This led to serious backlash against JTONG and lack of mainstream success.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Swings is so fucking embarrassing I swear. Simon D OWNED him. And this is a sign for Swings to shut the hell up

    ReplyDelete
  168. it's just Jtong. Ssam D is quite close to buckwilds, especially Jtong he therefore had also recommended jtong to amoeba.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Yeah. lol. Tupac deserves all the respect but people acting like he was above all of this.. god i'm smh.;;; He even had a period where he mentioned his personal life, implying he slept with Biggie's wife when the tensions were rising, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  170. in other words he's sane enough not to blow his life support over pride

    ReplyDelete
  171. 1. E-Sens owned Gaeko. Both times. As much as I love Dynamic Duo, Gaeko is shady as hell and E-Sens came out raw and real with his responses. I feel for him.
    2. Swings. STFU. He made a diss track that had nothing to do with him. He's an attention seeker and Kendrick Lamar wannabe. It's hilarious because Simon D and E-Sens aren't even against each other which makes his entire track redundant. Glad Simon D explained it well and thoroughly and doesn't need to fill majority of his rap with shit talk.

    ReplyDelete
  172. The way Simon D stood up for his dongsaeng, admitted to his faults and even told Gaeko to step back, since he’s been their “dog” and done everything they asked him to do. I don’t care about the battle anymore, can Supreme Team just get back together ;_;

    ReplyDelete
  173. from what i understand...after her passing Swings took some verbal jabs at her kids and then tried to play it off with a whack ass apology afterward

    ReplyDelete
  174. God I hope that was a joke, and if it was points to them. If it isn't though.. sigh. I'm going to be so embarrassed for their ghost written possibly autotuned shit that has nothing to do with them.
Idol groups are always dipping their noses where they don't belong (but like you I want to see how it plays out. Lawl)

    ReplyDelete
  175. I hope it was a joke. Praying.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Gaeko's response was ridiculous.
He didn't even answer anything that E-Sens asked about... it just about him being a pothead and dynamic duo. Lol.
His flow was great but the lyrics were very disappointing.... VERY DISAPPOINTING.

E-Sens's true story was gold. Gaeko needs to say something or else.... it's like he's admitting to it.

The whole Swings vs Simon D is hilarious and less serious than the one above. Lol.
Swings and Simon D never were at good terms... at all even during underground days. Seeing this is not not surprising.

But I have to give Swings some points for actually starting it!

Now... I'm secretly waiting for Fana to spit. ( I know it's not gonna happen)
