Hollywood: Justin Bieber

Article: Justin Bieber dating a 17 year old model/singer trainee...

Source: X Sports News via Nate

1. [+57, -10] Even Americans are starting to dislike him.. tsk tsk

2. [+45, -11] He's such a bubble... Only Koreans like him as a singer.

3. [+39, -14] Americans already know that he can't sing... It's only the Koreans who fangirl over anything with a pretty face that makes him seem popular. He's only popular in Korea now probably, ㅋㅋ

4. [+12, -2] I live in America and a lot of guys hate Justin Bieber ㅋㅋㅋ It's not even hate, they detest him... ㅋㅋ

5. [+12, -1] I heard that you can torture American teens by tying them to a chair, putting ear phones on them, and turning on a Justin Bieber song.

    I can confirm this

  2. XD LOL not just in america but everywhere XD

    ReplyDelete
  3. I know about 4 JB songs and I only like 2.

Don't know the bad stuff about him but I know he retweets his fans and as a fangirl, I think that's cool. Too bad 'oppas' aren't like that lol

    ReplyDelete
  4. FOR SURE "I heard that you can torture American teens by tying them to a chair, putting ear phones on them, and turning on a Justin Bieber song."

    ReplyDelete
  5. not just in america, I guess? :))

    ReplyDelete
  6. LMAO they're finally catching up on American sentiment, good job netizens for finding the right sources for your info

    ReplyDelete
  7. He's already on a downward spiral, isn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  8. I personally believe people only dislike Justin Beiber because he is a big product of a company (which who in pop music isnt...look at kpop) and the fact that he's a really big thing among teenage girls (which is fucked up in a lot of ways and is a whole other discussion in itself). I mean, I don't like Justin Beiber's music either, but I'm not going to say he's not talented. Yeah I used to join in on the immature hate on him also, but I grew up. He can sing, really well too; he had a youtube channel when he was younger showing his talent. Yeah...idk...all this hate on him is just dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  9. what does eminem ,justin beiber, adele and justin timberlake all have in common?

    ReplyDelete
  10. My Se7en oppa does
Maybe you like the wrong oppas!

    ReplyDelete
  11. it's not that i dislike him, it's more like i hate his legion of rabid fangirls.

    ReplyDelete
  12. his fangirls are fricken psycho. i saw them arguing the other day about how justin is better than michael jackson. i'm not lying.
they were using the argument that justin beiber was able to sell out the madison square garden under 7seconds. and how even michael jackson was not able to do that.

    ReplyDelete
  13. The hate from guys for this boy is just astounding. How can they hate someone who didn't do anything to them? More like JEALOUSY cause they won't be able in their lifetime be in a position like Justin is RIGHT NOW. I just wished Bieber would have been more careful of his image and his lifestyle.
I guess that's why he has more haters now. Nonetheless in US, image is not so important. Only music stands out, unlike some country.....

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  15. Don't even get me started with Kpop groups rabid fangirls.

    ReplyDelete
  16. here comes the comments...i find it so hypocritical when kpop fans hate justin bieber....do people know we stan the equivalent of asian justin biebers....

    ReplyDelete
  17. exactly kpop fans are the biggest hypocrites...

    ReplyDelete
  18. He's not a bad singer, but he's our equivalent to a kpop idol. Mainly appealing to teenage girls who can get quite insane from 0 to 5 seconds. In a way, people who listen to kpop and stan idols are in no leeway to talk about Justin Bieber or even One Direction because they're just the same as kpop idols except they all have different nationalities.

I used to join the immature people who hated him without even listening to at least one song he did, but now, I just do what I do to all those rookie groups that come out: IGNORE THEM AS IF THEY NEVER EXISTED.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Finally some logical comment here.

    ReplyDelete
  20. stop putting us all into the same groups.. you know some of us are actually sane fans who just listen to the music and occasionally like and stan people.. we don't go to the point of becoming keyboard warriors and defending them like our life depends on it.. at the end of the day its not like they are paying or bills or personally know us... i can't stand fangirls like that.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lol they should know abt all the endless 9gag jokes on hw ppl who like JB end up, rofl.

    ReplyDelete
  22. idk..its hard to compare kpop fandoms (i'm not saying that there aren't any rabid kpop fans) with his fandom when there aren't any kpop fandoms that mutilate themselves for shits and giggles...

    ReplyDelete
  23. downward spiraling into a bank with millions of green bucks to be honest.

    ReplyDelete
  24. LOLOL sometimes kpop fangirls can be so hypocrite.. i bet if Shinee sang "Girlfriend" you guys would be like OMG THEY ARE AMAZING!! GREAT SONG!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. " [+57, -10] Even Americans are starting to dislike him.. tsk tsk"
    They've been

    ReplyDelete
  26. are you new to kpop cause I've heard of Sasaeng fans?

Have you heard about that one fangirl who sent her period blood to her kpop oppa?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Can't stand Bieber but then again I can't stand most male singers so meh.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I've never really understood all this hate for Justin Bieber.

    ReplyDelete
  29. lol no i'm not new, i'm aware of the blood incident and more..i'm just saying bieber's fans are on a whole new level of crazy imo...some of his fans, as well as a lot of kpop fans, are up way beyond sasaeng territory...i like to call them The BatshitCrazies.

    ReplyDelete
  30. "1. [+57, -10] Even Americans are starting to dislike him.. tsk tsk"

Americans dislike him since the beginning, where were you that time, k-netizens? lol

    ReplyDelete
  31. lol you guys. complaining about how korean netizens always give t-ara (and some other celebrities) shit in everything they do but justin bieber did nothing. and you guys still hate him. sure, he has some insane fangirls but he himself did nothing. why hate him? don't even talk about the death petitions for celebrities in korea. when baby came out in 2010, he was only 16, and there are so many FB pages and comments saying JB is lesbian, he's gay, he needs to die etc. oh c'mon

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've seen fangirls say a certain Kpop group is better than MJ too. Plus most Kpop fans seem to think it's the holy grail and any American music is shit. So they're both in the same boat really.

    ReplyDelete
  33. all over the world.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Wait why do you ignore rookie groups?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Nah I disagree. All crazy fans are cray cray. Not saying ALL fans are crazy fans but you know CRAZY fans are cray cray. Yeah I got that one across.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I can agree. Hating him as a person and his music is one thing. But not (atleast) admitting that he does have a pretty good voice is just being a 'hater'

    ReplyDelete
  37. lmfao no you're right, crazy is crazy; i think we can all agree on that

    ReplyDelete
  38. LMFAO that was pretty funny.

    ReplyDelete
  39. What is there not to get? Read it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 1. Because of the oversaturation of idol groups. Especially last year, over 60 groups came out and I am not going to listen to over 60 groups who release generic songs.

    2. Kpop is starting to get less and less interesting to me. I've already started branching out from it and dabbling into k-indie/hiphop. I only follow my bias group (SHINee) now when it comes to kpop.

    ReplyDelete
  41. U2 is nugu. That take the fking cake!

    ReplyDelete
  42. the fact that he's also an arrogant bastard makes people hate him too. he acts like a brat, too much fame up in his head.

    ReplyDelete
  43. How is he an arrogant bastard?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Do you even know what the cut for Bieber thing was? It was started by 4chan, and the reason why it was trending was because of everyone saying how stupid it was. Tbh I'd say sasaeng fans who seem to devote their lives to stalking idols are crazier.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Remember that time the EXO fandom claimed that TVXQ were rookies compared to EXO.................. yeah, kpop fans have no room to talk about fandom crazies.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Why are there negative comments when it's just about him dating? I don't see the problem. I love his mor recent songs (as long as you love me). And he actually has significantly less haters in America than he used to.

    ReplyDelete
  47. the reason it trended was because people actually did cut themselves...that part wasn't some fabricated story made by 4chan, cutting did happen, THAT'S the point I was making. PEOPLE WERE HURTING THEMSELVES FOR NO REASON.

    ReplyDelete
  48. ahh, the vocals would be different though. so yeah, people might actually think it's a better song if SHINee sang it because it would have a different sound + different feel.

+ do you mean boyfriend? i'm not well versed in his songs.

    ReplyDelete
  49. yeah but i'm not a psychotic kpop fan. i call out everyone on their delusions whether i'm discussing jpop, kpop or american fandoms.. everyone gets delusional.. especially people in the kpop and jpop fandoms. so refer to those pyschos please.

    ReplyDelete
  50. hey even with most of the shit i talk about kpop you would not even be able to tell i'm a fan!! no fandom is perfect..

    ReplyDelete
  51. My sister did this to me the other day. Pure torture. At least I got a hundred bucks out of it >.>

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nah, rabid kpop stans take the cake. There have been many, many incidences of fans cutting themselves for their idols. And don't forget about letters written in menstrual blood sent to idols.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Again, I have not heard about too many incidences with bieber's fans following him to many different countries and sneaking into his home on multiple occasions. The cutforbieber news spread, because he is a popular star across the world.

    ReplyDelete
  54. So much truth in your statement.

    ReplyDelete
  55. i don't like bieber because of the way he acts, from the weed thing to hitting paparazzi. yeah, paps are annoying but it doesn't give you any right to assault them.

    ReplyDelete
  56. ahahhahaa. so you get me right>> seems like no one else has.. its true though ... right?

    ReplyDelete
  57. yeah but yoochun and jaejoong beats up their fans.. nothing more scary than that

    ReplyDelete
  58. No I'm a YG stan but SE7EN ignores me :(

    ReplyDelete
  59. I think Americans dislike having to constantly hear his teenage serenading on the radio. The fangirls make it worse.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Did you really have to bring others to this article?
    SMH.

    ReplyDelete
  61. He has made enough bank to live in luxury till the end of his life at such age.
I don't like kids music since it is aimed for mostly teenagers and little kids but many people be happy due to JB madness.

My cousins even forced me to watch his movie with them and they showed how he carved his own path to this crazy fame and money.

    ReplyDelete
  62. but he's lucky under a big company & Usher helped him a lot too...

    ReplyDelete
  63. At least they're not driving drunk. Nichkhun got behind the wheel KNOWING he wasn't okay to drive but did so any way and hit a person. What a fucking idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  64. do u wanna get ur ass beat by jaejoong or yoochun?

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yes, well money doesn't last forever. Just as MC Hammer, Toni Braxton, Billy Joel, and Dee Snider about how quickly millions of dollars can disappear.

    ReplyDelete
  66. billy joel from greenday? whats going on with him?

    ReplyDelete
  67. what? ? noo i swear se7en was one of the first kpop idols to start replying to fans on twitter when he came back on.. idk if he still does it to this day... but he mostly replies to japanese or korean fans...

    ReplyDelete
  68. He's wayyyyyyyyyyy too overrated... Total opposite of U-KISS

    ReplyDelete
  69. i think he's talented *with musical instruments and stuff* but tbh..his singing is just okay to me._.

    ReplyDelete
  70. that's cause they're idiots.

    ReplyDelete
  71. who cares if he hits paparazzi? they're scum.

    ReplyDelete
  72. He's average (talented-wise) and I dont like his music, but I dont hate him

    ReplyDelete
  73. " Bieber and One Direction can all sing unlike 80% of idol groups"
stop putting percentage out of your ass.

I think it's unfair to compare them because they're really different. One direction doesnt dance nor they have heavy choreography, they dont have a rapper, nor they have ever written a song and that makes their performances dull. Have you seen their auditions on x factor? Only one of them can sing, the other wants sucked hard

    ReplyDelete
  74. "Only Koreans like him as a singer" Oh how i wish this was true...

    ReplyDelete
  75. I don't really like him as a person though. I only listen to his songs. And it seems I get a happy feeling listening to it. That's all.

    ReplyDelete
  76. LOLwhaaaattt. o_o" I'm an exotic but I've never heard that one. But I guess there's always gonna be some people with a few screws loose in every fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Why bring up DBSK or 2PM or anybody's controversies..? I mean. Bieber isn't worth bringing up all those to fight about.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I've had some theories why people dislike JB, either
    a) he was a well-liked youtube star who suddenly got a record deal (and somehow that's a bad thing? Maybe they saw him as a corporate sell-out or something idk)
    b) people for some reason thought he was feminine because of his face/because he hit high notes (which is kinda ridiculous if you ask me)
    c) annoying obsessive fangirls
Sorry I'm a bit confused myself. I admit I also pulled a few jokes on him but no one can say that kid can't sing, or dance, or is ugly. Maybe people were so annoyed with the fangirls they just started to come up with any ridiculous thing to bash him. I can understand sentiments towards him now because of his recent behavior but it doesn't explain the hate in the beginning. It's weird.

    ReplyDelete
  79. 5. [+12, -1] I heard that you can torture American teens by tying
them to a chair, putting ear phones on them, and turning on a Justin
    Bieber song.

    OMG! LOL XD

    ReplyDelete
  80. no. it's because he's a teen pop star. stuff that teens like always get derision by the general public. one direction is hated by males as well. Same with all the boybands from the 90s/early 00s. Justin Timberlake still has a lot of haters despite the fact that he left nsync ages ago

    ReplyDelete
  81. And this is the funny part - the people bitching about him and hating him sometimes aren't even in the demographic that his music is aimed at. They don't even have to give a damn really, but they do.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I actually have loved Justin from the start, and have never understood the hypocrisy and hate he gets from the kpop community?? He is the western (not American; he is Canadian, so I will say western) equivalent of your precious oppas. If any of his songs were sung by an idol, every jb hater, or anti in kpop would be all over just because of who it was by. Do people not think about the similarities, or are they just blinded by their dumb "kpop is the best, western music sucks" mentality?? It's okay to not like someone, but to go out of your way to bash them when you only make yourself look silly for liking the same type of music (just sung in korean) is...mind boggling.

And dislike him all you, but if you listen to kpop, but tell me that HE is not what talent is, I'm side eyeing you >_>. And i don't care who disagrees or down votes, because it will only confirm the ridiculousness I just spoke of.

    ReplyDelete
  83. "Remember that time the EXO fandom..." it was just one person, not the whole fandom

    ReplyDelete
  84. Mte i can't understand people who loves kpop, especially boy bands, and hate him.

    ReplyDelete
  85. lol jaejoong has been arrested for dui in the past and everyone knows he's a heavy drinker as well...he ain't no better than nichkhun

    ReplyDelete
  86. like when he fucking had a concert here in my country. He didn't even give proper greeting and act like a complete douche. Explaining the whole thing to you makes it boring. so just let me get to the point. that even the believers here in my country turned against him after that.

    ReplyDelete
  87. i don't think it's about the billy joel from greenday...it's a different billy joel

    ReplyDelete
  88. Half of my school in Canada goes 'ew lol Justin Bieber'.

Even though he's from Canada. o.o

    ReplyDelete
  89. anything targeted to teenagers are frowned upon by most people. even the talented ones

    ReplyDelete
  90. Americans may hate JB but you can't deny he's one of the biggest stars they've got and he's talented! He can sing and he co-writes his songs!
And I thought this was a dating article ???
Plus he does charities, tbh people only hate him because as what DEV said

    ReplyDelete
  91. no! Exo fandom were saying that shit all over Twitter

    ReplyDelete
  92. yup i'm pretty sure those were the immature side of ur fandom but i can't seem to find to the mature side i always find the immature on Tiwtter & FB

    ReplyDelete
  93. you mean the one who sent it to Jaejoong?

    ReplyDelete
  94. You can like or dislike a song depending on the artist alone, you know

    ReplyDelete
  95. [+12, -1] I heard that you can torture American teens by tying them to a chair, putting ear phones on them, and turning on a Justin Bieber song.

    yes

    ReplyDelete
  96. i really started piting him....for a while now -_-"...have you seen all the hate he receive ?? i didn't knew at first (because i wasn't interresed at him..and thought that he was populare ..thats wasn't quitte the case :-p) but he reveive so much hate all over the world O_O ...in particulare in internet , have you seen in 9gag or funnymama ? in the beginning i was huh okay it's a bit funny but then not long ago after that i undersdant that this is exageration of hate , it's literaly bulling :-/ they are mocking him..i can't imagine how he fell everyday , i mean yea he is a celebrity and this thing critizing go with a job as celebrity but he started pretty young and grew up in this envirement...that go the same with other child celebrity ..he didn't even do anything that wrong ...i could undersdant if there are hater that's normale because there have to be love/hate(fans and heuu hater)but i think that this go a bit overbot..-_-' hope people calm down a bit ..and well it's his live so he can choose too to continue with career or ...cuting it down :-/...but i think if he had come this far that he strong enought , ..he do get pretty good paid for it after all and there are worse case ...i think way more of children abused or that live every day without knowing if they will survive till tomorrow :-s.....but it isn't really comparable , that's totaly different

    ReplyDelete
  97. when one direction won 3 VMA award and he win nothing he tweeted that MTV rigged the vote and let 1D win.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Just about everyone thought they rigged the votes. I thought it was pretty obvious. Justin Bieber had 27 million fans and 1D had 7 million. Also, whenever Justin got the lead, he would magically lose about 10k votes while 1D magically gained 30k.

    ReplyDelete
  99. uhm, paparazzi are people too, how would you like it if people started attacking you just because you're considered "scum". there is never a good reason to use violence against anyone unless it is in self defense.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Totally agree, he can be an idiot but I admit that he's talented. Even though I don't like him.

    ReplyDelete
  101. "He is the western (not American; he is Canadian, so I will say western) equivalent of your precious oppas"
    ^THIS x 10000000
Whenever I see a delusional kpop fangirl hating on JB, I think "you do realize that the majority of his haters would think your oppars are just as bad, if not worse?"
    *siiiigh~~~*

  102. straighttohelveticaFebruary 24, 2013 at 8:40 PM

He's not much better in his own country. He met the prime minister of Canada dressed like a total yokel.

    ReplyDelete
  103. lol yep. But there is rabid fangirls in every fandom, kpop, jpop, american. kpop fans send blood letters, Beiber fans cut themselves, 1D delusional shippers. All equally insane

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yep and he compared the death of thousands from a earthquake(in Japan) to moving and replacing your furniture. He is a douchebag

    ReplyDelete
  105. He cant sing puberty ruined his voice but he can dance, write and play instruments and compared to kpop idols he is 10x better to his fans.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I kinda like it even after as well :) ... compared to "some" kpop idols...and its mostly because the company has control over them

    ReplyDelete
  107. 5. [+12, -1] I heard that you can torture American teens by tying them to a chair, putting ear phones on them, and turning on a Justin Bieber song.

    LMAO I CAN'T. PURE WIN.
