  4. H.O.T by far is the only idol that seems supported by the whole nation.

They were the closest to have been considered the 'Nation's Boy group'.

  9. I'm in no way defending the people who are jumping down Boyfriend's throats for this, because it's not even like they have a say in the matter, but I just want to say the comments shouldn't really be all that surprising.

First generation idol fanclub members are incredibly proud and protective, but they rarely raise their voices unless something they've fought to preserve, such as a standout song title, or an iconic color, is being threatened.

The amazing thing, if you'll notice, is how they deal with these situations; it's very unique. They don't bother with insults or unnecessary pettiness; they coolly say what needs to be said and leave it at that. If the issue doesn't get resolved, things may eventually turn ugly, but you have to admire their tact.

Having said all that, there's no guarantee all or any of these netizens are part of Club H.O.T., but the restraint in the comments reminded me of past incidents where other first generation idol groups' attributes were ignored.

  11. of course Shinhwa is too. but i think even Shinhwa can't beat H.O.T popularity. i guess H.O.T themselves are legend in their own time. their popularity in Korea is mindblowing.

  12. It's just a song title I don't see what the big fuss is~~
Plenty of artists release songs with the same title so why are Boyfriend getting hate for it T.T

  13. Kind of expected to be dealt with coolly, if they were fans at the time they were big, they would be adults now. Shinhwa's old fans are settling down and having families now :)
