ReplyDeleteTHIS! those who have been BEG fan since BEFORE abracadabra would understand the feeling. i was a huge fan of their music n talents...n i just don't get the need to push the 'adult'/sexualized concept so hard like they're doing since they really don't need to. Their songs before abracadabra were amazing...but now...not so much, n i just gradually lost interest. that's just me. because to me BEG is way too awesome to have to resort to focusing too much on sexual factor to be popular.

Well, what if her face is below average? I think sexiness is not all about face or body but more about vibes and gesture. Ga-in is not cheap, she has a very sensual voice and she's very feminine, no she doesn't have the best face but I think she matches the sexy concept well. And I'm not Hyuna hater so I'm not going to bash her but Hyuna, well she's gorgeous but her dances and the fact that she can't sing make her looks cheap.

Korean/ Asian media generally isn't like this. Or they try to be not so blatant with it.

i reaaally wanna watch the parody xD I dont understand people--- first they criticized people agencies and idols with the sexy concept and harassed them to put 19+ tags on their MVs/songs because what was wrong was that the majority of them and their fans were underage... and now what? BEG are legal and i can bet the majority of their fanbase are as well... its not like ppl were forced to go to the concert or to read the article about the concert... if you dont like it, dont torture urself and just go watch Pororo...

I don't like BEG's sexual concept.. but they've not strayed from their musical style at all.. Just listen to their albums.. says enough. And they keep releasing those nice slow ballads (cleansing cream, midnight summer dream) from time to time too.
