1. [+470, -23] MBC's drama awards has gone crazy. How did Son Dambi win an award over Kim Bo Yeon and why did Yoon Eun Hye win two useless awards? What's up with this? I felt bad for the other nominees that showed up. And why didn't 'Light and Shadow' win anything? There's seriously something off about this year
2. [+452, -39] He's young yet but he's a good actor and deserving of the award. As for the best female actress.... It should've gone to Ha Ji Won!!! And the rookie award should've gone to Jo Jung Suk!!!

There were so many good dramas out this year, it was really tough. I am personally satisfied with MTETS winning, but I agree that The King 2 Hearts deserved an award too, meh. Congratulations to Kim Soo Hyun and Yoochun, they both had a phenomanal year with Rooftop Prince / MTETS. ♥

ReplyDeleteKim Soo Hyun's speech was very repectful and humbling for the male best daesung award he won....he himself mentioned it was a scary thing compared to what he had/has to offer on screen and that he won't forget the fear and use it to carry on working hard. Congrats on your win. I think Kim Soo Hyun is very talented, a huge reason for the success of TMTETS. still annoyed at K2H and Golden Time being snubbed by douchey MBC but nothing can be done about that :(

ReplyDeleteI was just going to say to add on Yeo Jin Goo to the nominations and even deserving to win it, but that would be ridiculous since he's not technically the main actor. He's too young, but holy smokes, his acting blows Yoochun and even Kim Soo Hyun out of the water. Seriously. If he's THIS good now, how about in a few years when he acts as the main? Can't wait. I see a Yoo Seung Ho here, guys.
ReplyDeleteI think the two can thank Yeo Jin Goo for portraying a great childhood counterpart, thus setting the perfect tone for the drama and for the adult part. I'm sure his acting challenged both KSH and YC to do better, thus we get good acting from the two adults. YC improved drastically in I Miss You.
Not only for his role in Moon/Sun but for his role in I Miss You. He's so freaking talented. Can't for him to grow up and snag all these great lead roles.

ReplyDeleteI miss you had low ratings than TK2H but how come it's own so many awards.....it's a drama still halfway.........yoochun didn't win in popular category but critics category and what was shocking he was not nominated with lee seung gi.lee jun gi.kim soo hyun but with yoo seung ho,yoon je moon etc. etc,the 2nd lead of the drama.....from this it was pretty evident that mbc strategy to make sure that yoochun attend the awards....if they don't make him win he probably wouldn't have attended......isn't in a way insult by mbc who should have put him with lsg,ljg,kshetc.............LEE SEUNG GI NOT WINNING ONE AWARD…..REALLY PISSED…ON TOP OF THAT NATION’S TOP ACTRESS HA JI WON NOT WINNING AGAINST HA GA IN…EVEN NOT A SINGLE AWARD….. THESE AWARD CEREMONY WAS A BIG JOKE…….hallyu star award for yoon eun hye....from where that came in a drama awards..........
