Han Ga In was completely out-acted by Kim Yoo Jung whereas Ha Ji Won was AMAZING on K2H.
ReplyDeleteI don't think netizens understand how award shows work in their country lol, why have they not gotten used to this. Channel specific award shows mean nothing, they're as legit as the MAMA/Mnet awards. Only shows from a certain channel are nominated and you only win if you are a) there or b) your show hit national drama ratings.

ReplyDeleteAnyways, amongst the Female Excellence Award only Lee Yoon Ji and Seo Hyun Jin deserves to win while Han JI Hye, Sung Yuri, Son Dambi and Han Gain did not. The funny thing is most of this actresses were criticized for their poor acting skills from the time of the airing of their drama until now, which means their poor acting skills is not one you'd likely to forget. I'm kinda embarrassed for them.

You obviously don't know a thing about Korean cinema lol Ha Ji Won is the MOST versatile actress in the industry. She has played, excelled and even been awarded for various roles and genres including action (Damo, Duelist, Haeundae), Joseon period drama (Hwang Jin Yi), romantic comedy (secret garden)..she also won awards and recognition through her movie "Closer to Heaven" and tv drama "What happened in Bali"..just check her resume, you'll see what I'm talking about...ugh!! I hate it when people comment on things they know nothing about! If you knew any better, you would know that Ha Ji Won is one of the best, most admired and respected actresses in Asia. Get your story straight before you think of criticizing anyone grrt

ReplyDeleteI love DBSK and JYJ and Jaejoong, but I've watched both Dr. Jin and The King 2 Hearts, and really, the acting between the two is miles apart. Even Jo Jung Seok outshined Lee Seunggi, with the latter being the main role (LSG-biased here). Jo Jung Seok was such a scene stealer in TK2H, and he definitely should have won that award.
Also, King 2 Hearts didn't win any? Sigh.....

But really... MBC is garnering more and more hatred these days. First with all the strikes, then all the GOOD shows getting cancelled... I think Kim Jae-chul should just resign already. MBC was a pretty okay tv station a few years back and now they're just... gah.
He won Daesang tied with Kim Myung Min (Beethoven Virus). Kim Myung Min who has won accolades/awards for his portrayal of his characters in films and dramas over the years. And, Song Seung Hoon who is pretty, seems nice and has a chiseled features, but is really a limited actor.

Plus, there are 5 nominees, and it's stupid to give it to 3, if you are implying that these commentors imply to give it to JJS ON TOP OF THE TWO WINNERS. Obviously, they wanted to give the rookie award to JJS instead of the two.

ReplyDeleteI miss you had low ratings than TK2H but how come it’s own so many awards…..it’s a drama still halfway………yoochun didn’t win in popular category but critics category and what was shocking he was not nominated with lee seung gi.lee jun gi.kim soo hyun but with yoo seung ho,yoon je moon etc. etc,the 2nd lead of the drama…..from this it was pretty evident that mbc strategy to make sure that yoochun attend the awards….if they don’t make him win he probably wouldn’t have attended……isn’t in a way insult by mbc who should have put him with lLSG,LJG,KSH etc………….LEE SEUNG GI NOT WINNING ONE AWARD…..REALLY PISSED…ON TOP OF THAT NATION’S TOP ACTRESS HA JI WON NOT WINNING AGAINST HA GA IN…EVEN NOT A SINGLE AWARD….. All of her dramas license got bought in different countries and for a pretty big price too. She's so popular abroad that even Daniel Swarovski specialized a Yoon Eun Hye ring for her. She is no.1 in Japan and is one of the top 2 korean actress in China. She also has an english CF for American brand Amway Artistry and the highest paid korean actress of her age group. She is well-known also in Latin America. So she deserved that Hallyu Award!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I should feel for LSG not winning any award, honestly. He definitely stepped up his game in TK2H, and it was his best performance to date. I don't know how his acting might come off to whoever judged this, and I am not that butthurt with him not winning any excellence awards, but come on, I would give the Best Couple Award at least to HJW and LSG. They had amazing chemistry that shot to the roof. Why, MBC? -.-
