is 2pm going to be enough to make up for all this flopping?
They should change their company's name to "FLOP Entertainment" hahahaha
DeleteWho is 15&....? Lolol and baek's debut wasn't that bad in charts but besides that ..
DeleteI think most of the things they did this year was a flop
ReplyDeleteGo to Israel again, JYP.
ReplyDeleteI hope that 2013 will be a better year for JYP and his artists... now's the time to step up, and I'm a JYP stan too... sigh. Can't help but feel sad, you know?
ReplyDeleteJYPnation fighting! T.T
Wonder Girls did pretty well, all things considered. But they lost a huge part of their fanbase.
ReplyDeleteI feel bad for Ji min. She flopped hard under JYPE.
ReplyDeleteWow all this IU hate is already tired
ReplyDeleteWonder Girls comeback wasn't a flop
ReplyDeleteThey did well digitally
Better than most groups actually
Technically they didn't lose the number of fans because they may have lost a lot of Korean fans, but they are still considered 2nd largest girl group fanbases.. and they have increased international fans due to their skills in Japanese/English... so it's still balanced with the girls. =]
ReplyDeleteWG did a pretty wel comeback though.still way better than 2 Miss A comebacks, Jokwon andWoo debut combined.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he will stop producing everything and interfering with his artists since things have been so floptastic for him :/ . I think JYP just needs some fresh blood and a new marketing dept.
ReplyDeleteI wonder where JYP will go this time to find religious inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing this article: http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2012/11/junsumin-junjun-k-reveals-that-2pm.html
ReplyDeleteI've got to say, no, I don't think 2pm can make up for anything.
i stan JYP Nation but sadly, i have to agree 2012 is their worst year ever.
ReplyDeleteAnd The Wonder Flop
ReplyDeleteWe're back!
(Lim)
Why are you staring at me? Why?
Am I that flop?
I know it already but
all that staring makes me blush
(Sunye)

I’m so flop
(Ye Eun) I’m so flop
I’m so fail
(SoHee) I’m so hideous
I’m so suck
(SunYe) I’m so hideous
I’m flo flo flo flo flop
But f(x), who did not even exist when WG first started out, did better than them digitally and won against them a few times in music programs. Compared to their previous status as a top girl group competing with the likes of SNSD, they've flopped pretty hard.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to add JYP's North American branch in NY getting fined for $15K for misusing office space.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, for a company that hasn't made the best investments or business decisions as of late, you'd think JYP would be a little more careful in his financial decisions. Obviously abiding by the contract would be a lot less expensive than 50 million won.
No they didn't, in the month of June, Wonder Girls dominated fx in terms of digital sales by like 100-200k.. even though they didn't win much in music awards, they sold more than f(x), which matters really since awards in the music shows are just for popularity and WG did damn well for their long time hiatus.
ReplyDeleteIt really isn't JYP's year. If anything it's YG's year.
ReplyDeletesorry for my dumb question, but who's that guy in the middle? i really can't recognize him
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the digital sales. I just looked them up and they did a lot better than f(x). But you have to admit that they just don't sell like they use to anymore.
ReplyDeleteMiss A is charting on Gaon for a long time plus doing well on sells... how is this flopping?
ReplyDeleteBut no one is buying their shit and their song isn't making a big splash, but buying I mean physical
Deletee-sen, soloist rapper...
ReplyDelete2pm do well in japan and they are going to have concert tour....
ReplyDeletethey have fanbase to back them up and they are still in demand for cf, drama, movie, variety shows etc
Lol. It was a fucking flop.
ReplyDeleteWhat international fans? You mean the 25 people that watch Teen Nick? O_o
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why WG was on such a long hiatus. They went to promote Nobody in the US. And disappeared! (And don't get me started with the frustration that I felt in 2008/2009 when all they did was promote the 1 same song that didn't showcase any vocal talent nor dancing skill.)
ReplyDeleteNew fans from promoting Like This and Like Money, new fans from their collab with Stevie Wonder, fans from their single in a Christmas album with top stars, new fans from their various interviews in top radio stations, new fans from Asia from their Wonder World concerts, and yes, fans from their Teen Nick movie as well as their upcoming show... and new fans from their recent Japanese Promotions and upcoming Japanese CD.
ReplyDeleteLearn some knowledge before you spew such an ignorant comment. =]
Maybe he should start caring more about talent. Like Joo.
ReplyDeleteThat's San-E.
ReplyDeleteE-sense is a member of Supreme Team.
Meh, they'll bounce back. Just cuz they're not breaking records and blowing shit up everywhere doesn't mean they don't sell well. JYP debuts always suck, and all their comebacks this year charted respectably. Just replace his shitty marketing team and he's golden. All you bandwagoners should stop throwing the word flop around like you know what it means.
ReplyDeleteJYP are not doing as bad as ppl make out! 2PM are making money in Japan and wasn't JYP voted at the #1 earning producer a couple of months ago.
ReplyDeletelol n you know that they released a week before f(x) right? js
ReplyDeleteoh shit I want to say san-e instead of e-sen... I just listened primary feat e-sen song before I reply that... that's why I typed e-sen, silly me @.@
ReplyDeleteTheir new album is not doing great
ReplyDeleteWG released their song a week before f(x) and in their 1st week they competed against Big Bang. But f(x) in their 1st week competed against Big Bang, WG, and Busker Busker. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteJay Park is really talented and JYP kicked him out -.-
ReplyDeleteRain is the most successful person to come out of JYP
ReplyDeleteAgreed. He needs to hire some new producers or something... His sound is stale.
ReplyDeleteHe could have been the next Rain for JYP..
ReplyDeleteWhat does this even have to do loen ent ._.
ReplyDeleteIm still pressed at the fact that jyp doesnt even remember they have joo and lim jeong hee under tgeir company and to think of all the so-so releases they had this year having such talented new blood like 15& bugs me even more..
ReplyDeleteyo... you killed every1 there bro!!!! Ppl here mention the number of fans leaving but forget to add the new fans.. Incoming and outgoing!!
ReplyDeletewhat is wrong with Rain?
ReplyDeletenothing is wrong with rain. im just saying i think he was the most successful person to come out of jyp. i think jay park could have followed in his footsteps
