I don't like Suju, but I think it's fucked how VIPs got help from ELFs among other fandoms when Big Bang was nominated, but when asked to return the favor and help out Super Junior they proved themselves to be the assholes they are known to be and didn't help out because they weren't fans. ReplyDeleteAlthough I feel sorry for the comments left on Han Geng's article, I don't think it's fair of them to try and undermine his success - he just won an international award! Awards from MTV do not exactly carry much professional merit, but they are a testament to his large fanbase, which he gained and maintained and expanded through his own hard work.

It's a recycled and butthurt comment from antis over and over again. Sure they're not /that/ popular as they are internationally but definitely not irrelevant as ignorant people make them out to be. Plus, they're idols, they do have an expiration date. A Korean friend told me that SJ is not that popular because they're already old. Exactly why they're an idol group. Idols cater to the young crowd which will build up their fanbase eventually, not the public.
