    1. You mean just like AKP has NO trolls since they use disquss right?
      Sujumakebelieve13
      Plasticbom
      Etc....
      Facepalm...

  4. If you can ban people from commenting using Disqus, then I'm all for it. Too many misogynistic and generally hateful people are coming here and ruining the comment section.

    1. Just that you know it takes about 5 minutes from a disquss bann to be back commenting with a new account.
I was banned on Allkpop at least 5 times, im still commenting as I please.

  5. I was waiting for this :') thank you so much nb ilu

  6. You can disable anon on Disqus too, right? That would be nice.

  7. We are anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us.

    ReplyDelete
  8. it doesn't work for mobile?

  10. disqus is great!!! thank you!

  11. Less troll.

    Happy blog.

Let the hate burn inside your hatred heart.

Keep the blog away from those bastard anon who only enjoy hating.

  12. I think disable anon on regular blogger is better option!! Disqus will create more fanwars because people can reply directly which is better but on the other hand it's also a headache.. and the upvote and downvote, really it will sure create fire!! Disabling anon was to control fights, trolls and disguise.. I have seen a lot of mess after AKP using disgus..

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, I'm prefer disqus too ^^
it's much more cooler and the comments cant be rated ^^
trolls can easier identified too >.<

  14. I don't really like Disqus. It'll be the same as before, people will troll with anon username. The only difference is that, instead of having discussions, people will just give -1's to any opinion they disagree with, even if it's something right etc. it'll end like allkpop and this is not a compliment.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I think Disqus is a bad idea... even people who think it's good are wrong because anyone can create a random username in 2 seconds and troll.

Tbh Disqus will turn this place to allkpop #2 lol people will just reply each other endlessly and instead of posting opinions, they'll simply give -1's to everyone they disagree with and it'll turn netizenbuzz to a website with little opinions, stupid people, and always the SAME opinion will get all +1's because it'll always be the same people reading the same comments and agreeing with the same things, so boring.

The old system was much better to me...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Nb you got one -1 for asking just a simple opinion!! Just as simple as that, it will sure cause mess!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. This is MUCH better. Thank you TT.TT

    ReplyDelete
  18. Actually works much better than AKP...their system keeps logging me out OTL

    ReplyDelete
  19. I think you should just disable anonymous

    ReplyDelete
  20. Disqus is an improvement, if you could also ban certain IP addresses that are known to troll, then that would be even better. Thanks NB ^^

    ReplyDelete
  21. Earlier this year I read some criticism about Disqus. It seems that when a user has been flagged (for a reason or no reason) on any board using Disqus, this ban is enforced on every possible other board using Disqus. Which is silly, but no doubt it is one way to make people behave.

    ReplyDelete
  22. i dont like disqus but i get why you put it in. some people were leaving Vile comments.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Agreed that Disqus will turn NB into a shithole. People will troll regardless, just disable Anon so it's easier to recognize trolls. It's not possible to have a legitimate unpopular opinion without getting thumbed down to oblivion with Disqus x_x

    ReplyDelete
  24. Is it possible to do w/o the 'thumbs down' function but keep the 'thumbs up' function on Disqus? Breeds positivity to some extent I think.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh wow, disqus lol It works~~

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't think I like the +1 -1 system, I think it makes people like sheep. Whatever is the top comment will just continue getting voted up/with ppl bandwagon hopping. Can you imagine all the VIPs coming in to up/down vote negative opinions about their opparz everytime there is a negative big bang article?...but I really hate all the anon trolls too...iunno I guess there is no perfect solution.

    ReplyDelete
  27. You can't expect only positive posts.....both positives and negatives are needed.....

    ReplyDelete
  28. A variety of opinions is nice, yes, but the fandoms that visit here are varied enough that I would hope that people's opinions about a group aren't downvoted for simply being a negative opinion. However, a negative opinion is a lot different from hateful speech. I just want there to be more mature discussion rather than people screaming obscenities at each other, calling Hyuna disgusting slurs like 'wh*re', calling people 'f*ggots;, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  29. where's the disqus though? the anon option is still working

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't think disqus is the better option, the easier way for you and for us is just to disable the anon option from the old commenting system. Except if your point is to make this blog have more clicks/visitors... It will turn out to be akp 2.0

    ReplyDelete
  31. Just remove the anon instead, disqus is a bad idea and trolls will still troll and the site will become like Allkpop and believe me allkpop is the worst

    ReplyDelete
  32. At the end of the day you can't sensor people on the net.....people would post hateful opinions and nothing can change that......even if banned, they can still find means of posting......

    ReplyDelete
  33. oh really? they must be Koreans who learned English right?
because according to hundreds of international fans ONLY Koreans make hateful comments.

    ReplyDelete
  34. netizenbuzz, in mobile ver (i'm using opera mobile), your disqus is still not working. i'm using the same comment interface like before.

i'm gonna be anon for the rest of my life. ha.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ohh is that why disqus is not appearing for ne? I'm using my phone too and it looks exactly the same with anon options and all

      Delete
    2. yep, fellow anon. maybe because it's in blogger? every other wp-based blog with new disqus (that recent one in akp) works for me.

      Delete
  35. I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know anyone who has claimed that. I-fans, K-fans, it doesn't matter. There are both civil and uncivil people on both sides.

    ReplyDelete
  36. *censor

And yes, NB can censor anyone she wants. Ban people enough times and they'll get tired of trolling. If NB sets some commenting guidelines down to prevent people from using slurs, racist or homophobic speech, etc. I think the quality of the comments will increase greatly.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Netizen was even worse than Allkpop before so this might at least help a little bit. Plus, there seem to be a variety of fandoms represented here.

    ReplyDelete
  38. netizenbuzz you are doing it right! I actually like how the comments have been previously, maybe because people were able to anonymously give their opinions and i like this site alot more than allkkkpoop tbqh. i honestly dont like disquis though, i think its too,,, i dont know how to say it,,,,,, poll-like?

    ReplyDelete
  39. i am sorry jess but i honestly think that is something you are just going to have to personally get over.

    ReplyDelete
  40. i dont like disqus :/

    ReplyDelete
  41. i like this site more than most korean media outlets anyways so i dont mind what you choose.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Why is it my job to get over it instead of it being other people's jobs to stop being hateful assholes? And before you say 'well, it's the internet, there are always assholes', why can't we change that by holding commenters here to a certain standard?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Last try for jaejin break up story TT TT

    ReplyDelete
  44. disqus is okay but the trolls with arrive soon and people would leave obnoxious comments or would randomly downvote people who talk bad about their bias... but well, i think you can ban them(?) so its okay then...

    ReplyDelete
  45. I like being an Anon T.T It's a little troublesome having to sign up because being an Anon is very convenient when I log into this website (million times a day lol <3) and comment using other computers (which I do very often); my laptop, my friend's & family's laptops, my university's computers, public computers... etc. Plus, Being an Anon enables me to reply to people without having to worry about people holding a grudge on my username or judge me every time they see my comments.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Just disable the anon .... and disqu doesn't work on mobile. And I don't know if it's just me but my pretty userpic from lj isnt showing up here .... por que? ;___;

  50. wow i'm using my computer now, those anonymous post i used in my mobile didn't show up here! 0_0 anyway, netizenbuzz, if you use mobile (i'm using opera mini), you can't comment using disqus... idk why. it works just fine in akp but not here. :(

    ReplyDelete
  51. Disquss sucks. KEEP ANNON! Only with annon can we see what people really think. If you change to disquss the trolls will simply make alternative disquss accounts.
The anon posts are nost of the time the best ones.

    ReplyDelete
  52. With Disquss I can give myself 50 tbumbs up and be the top comment.
Plus I can use big bold red fonts that make your eyes blees.
Get ready for the full allkpop experience...

    ReplyDelete
  53. I love how, no matter what you post, there is always a pretty intense tug-o-war of opinions in the comments. xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  54. disqus is not working from my phone so i can still be anon but seeing others already using usernames instead being anon, i think i'm going to use username too. OTL lol

    ReplyDelete
  55. soo damn true..like i might be antis t-ara,love snsd but that just my opinion...we must balance both

    ReplyDelete
  56. True, I really have a particular distaste for plastic generation.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Allow only Twitter, Google and Face book. See how many people have the guts to comment. It will be like NATE.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Because it's not possible to just register a new twitter account right?
It's actually the easiest way to get back to AKP once you are banned...

    ReplyDelete
  59. i actually like it tho lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. i hate it tbh. :(

    ReplyDelete
  61. Well Disqus just now implemented a change that requires people to sign in to down vote comments. That should take care of the anonymous trolls as now they will have to make a fake account.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Yeah it is working. Do you have Disqus working on your mobile blogger template too? If you don't, then you'll have to make a quick code change. I made a tutorial at my website if you are interested in looking at it. Hope you enjoy using Disqus @NetizenBuzz:disqus
    http://www.techmansworld.com/2012/05/how-to-add-disqus-comments-to-your.html

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yeah a forum moderator can choose to disable guest commenting. With the recent admin panel update they can now do it directly if they have Disqus 2012 enabled.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Do you have a problem with cookies? All Disqus sites use a cookie to store your login information, so you remain logged in.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yeah a moderator can ban someone via their IP address, email address, and user name.

    ReplyDelete
  66. It's because Disqus by default does not load on the mobile templates. You have to add basically two words to the template. I tagged @NetizenBuzz:disqus so I hope she gets my comment with help.
