1. [+817, -162] Just because he's an idol doesn't mean he's the same as the rest. Don't hate on Lee Joon for earning a role in the drama. But what in the world is KARA's Jiyoung doing in a major drama like this?? I'm a bit disappointed in the casting choice.. Lee Da Hae is an actress so whatever, but please rethink your decision on Kang Jiyoung. I can already hear the drama's worth dropping tsk tsk

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Jiyoung act so i can't say anything about her, but congrats to Joon! Happy to see that netizens don't hate on all idols gone actors, bc some of them are genuinely good actors, like Joon.

Do I need to watch IRIS 1 in order to understand IRIS 2?

ReplyDeleteanyway, what a heckload of casting! idols much? maybe they don't have enough money to cast a/b-list actors, or don't have much confidence that it'll do well (like poseidon or athena), or they think they can do it too since reply 1997 marvelously casted idol actors who can do better than some actors. whatever it is, netizens are bipolar. lol. joon's acting as cameos is awkward as hell, doojoon's too self-conscious, but idk about jiyoung though. not quiet an interesting drama for me, but yeah, we'll see...

ReplyDeletei cant believe the 1st comment have that much positive votes... do they really read it? its a huge mess with contradictions and double standards! it says "people shouldnt hate" but he/she badmouths Jiyoung O.o but well, since most of the k.netizens are bipolar that must be the reason why it was voted that much...
Why not see the drama first before saying anything about the acting...Jiyoung can act and she is good in Rainbow rose...and I'm going to wait for the drama to judge LeeJoon and Dojoon
ReplyDeleteJiyoung was LEAD in her own drama and co-leads with the rest of KARA in URAKARA. That's more than I can say for Lee Joon's resume. Jiyoung's inclusion would certainly help in distributing in Japan as well.

ReplyDeleteJiyoung can act way better than Hara and i haven't seen Lee Joon nor Doojoon act so i can't say anything about them but hopefully IRIS 2 will be as good as the 1st
ReplyDeleteLol how can you compare jiyoung to hara in terms of acting? Hara had, at most, five minutes per episode on City Hunter where she was supposed to play a spoiled brat and a minor character.
