1. [+5,015, -119] Let's all try to spend it separately at home if we can... it's just too dangerous this year to be gathering...

2. [+4,179, -125] It's going to be a mess if everyone gets up to travel over the Chuseok today. We should push for phase 3 of social distancing then since people don't have to go in to work over break anyway.

3. [+3,634, -504] Yes, get rid of Chuseok this year and have everyone work as normal~ ^^

4. [+220, -30] Chuseok should definitely be canceled this year, no? Just an immediate gathering includes parents + your family + in-laws, which is over 10 people, and that's not including drop-bys from aunts and other distant relatives. Then you have the food that's all shared with dipping sauces, people having no idea who drank out of which water cup... and the elderly don't really understand the importance of washing hands after being outside so... I think the government needs to make sure that the weekend is spent like any other weekend.

5. [+218, -13] There needs to be some restrictions on traveling ㅜ the virus will get crazier over winter.. Chuseok will come back next year ㅜ let's start being more mindful

6. [+180, -18] Any parent with a normal mindset wouldn't be asking their kids to come visit right now...

7. [+146, -16] The entire nation should be demanding that Chuseok be canceled this year. Having the entire nation traveling around for the holiday will just turn the country into a virus festival.

8. [+135, -7] This is so true. I was recently visiting my in-laws and kept my mask on and was made to feel really self conscious about it even though I was doing something right. No matter how hard I tried to explain to them that the mask was to protect them, they just heard it as an excuse... I'd be so grateful if Chuseok was canceled this year. The government needs to make it happen. It's not like a lot of us have an extra $300-400 to spend on the holiday right now anyway.

9. [+108, -11] Seeing as how it's the mothers demanding the holiday to be canceled, I'm assuming the fathers don't care whether their kids or their parents catch the virus?

10. [+86, -2] Surely it'd be okay to... take a break from the holiday just for this year...? If you're a true parent, you wouldn't want your kids to come visit you right now anyway.......

11. [+78, -4] You all will be meeting your ancestors in the after life trying to care for them in this holiday ㅜ

12. [+58, -3] Spend the holiday online this year and make it a rule that families have to spend it at home until there's an official announcement that the virus is officially over.

13. [+40, -4] This year's Chuseok must be spent with your individual quarantine pods! Don't go to your in-laws or your parents no matter how close of a drive it is. Make it fair so that neither side feels left out! And start phase 3 of social distancing over the holiday!
