Article: Why do women in their forties like BTS?

1. [+841, -14] Why? Because they're cool! They can sing and dance and they even have great character.
2. [+560, -9] I'm in my forties and I often wondered to myself if I was living my best life, if I was raising my teen daughter the best I could. I lived a repetitive life with no dream or order, with no sense of what's really important to me. I often wondered if it was okay to live like this... until I found all my answers in BTS' songs..
3. [+382, -4] There were a lot of times I left work in tears while listening to 'Spring Day x Young Forever'... Maybe because this album's titled 'Tear' but listening to the entire album makes me tear up too... ㅜ As a working mother, there are a lot of times that I question how I'm doing at work, or how I'm doing as a mother... and when things get hard and I get tired, I feel good listening to a BTS song and letting all my tears out. It helps me find the strength to do better the next day. There's a weird type of power to BTS' music.
4. [+356, -4] The secret? Their seriousness in their lyrics, their emotions... I think they have managed to capture middle aged fans with a type of music that fans haven't been able to find since Seo Taiji.
5. [+230, -3] I'm an older fan too and their songs get better the more I listen to them.. I'm upset that I only found out about them now ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
6. [+144, -3] When you have lived 40 years, you can tell by now whether someone's being fake or genuine... you get a sense for that kind of stuff. We're not easily fooled by the media ^^ With BTS, however, I can see how genuine they are, especially when they dance. How much time they spent to perfect their choreography as 7... And they're always consistently honest and bright, which you can see through their YouTube~ The biggest reason is their music. Their lyrics ring true to the hardships of life~ Sometimes when I hear RM and Suga converse, I wonder how they have realized things that it took me 40 years to understand. BTS' music consoles me~
7. [+80, -0] I thought that 'Young Forever' comment was written by me. There are a lot of fans in their forties who recognize their genuineness and relate to them. What does age matter? Their music is enough to fulfill and heal my life... I hope that BTS, as they always have been, don't get caught up in the numbers and feel happiness in the music that they wish to pursue.
8. [+65, -0] Another older fan here ^^ I turn 40 soon and I'm totally enjoying the fun of watching BTS. I enjoy life so much more that it makes child rearing not difficult too. I do think it's harder to join a fan club as an older fan but I do want to attend a fan signing or a concert someday... I'm just not quick enough for those things though. I'm glad I can at least vote for them and write comments here like this ㅎㅎ fighting!!!
9. [+62, -0] Reporter-nim, it's not just ajummas in their forties. You're going to make all fans in their teens, twenties, thirties, fifties, and sixties feel left out ㅋㅋ BTS is loved by all ages ^^
10. [+59, -0] Fans in their tweens and twenties go crazy for BTS as they are but I think fans in their thirties and after relate to their lyrics on a different level.
