SM, YG, and JYP officially opt out of 'Produce 101' male version

Article: [Exclusive] Top 3 agencies JYP SM YG won't be participating in 'Produce 101' male version

Source: Ilgan Sports via Naver + Nate

1. [+1,863, -31] They already saw that 'Boy 24' was an utter failure so companies are going to avoid another flop

2. [+1,672, -22] There's no reason for them to participate in it ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ with most of the big agencies sitting out, I bet they won't even go through with the show in the end ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+1,349, -20] Why would the top 3 ever want to send their trainees there...

4. [+1,303, -43] Men and women both watched the female version... but men will not watch the male version

5. [+178, -8] I was surprised JYP even participated in 'Produce 101'

6. [+83, -5] IOI's success was a miracle, you can't expect a miracle like that to happen twice

7. [+64, -0] You read this, Han Sung Ho? FNC is not considered a part of the top 3

8. [+66, -7] JYP just hit jackpot with Jun Somi and Twice ㅋㅋㅋ why would they care about their male trainees right now? And the most important part is that both men and women aren't going to care for the male version of the show

9. [+53, -8] The show's just an opportunity for smaller agencies to get their trainees known. It's daebak for kids like Choi Yoojung or Kim Chungha.

10. [+48, -3] Really glad Woollim is sitting out. Just debut your trainees instead of putting them on shows like this~
