1. [+371, -234] Is being a lesbian something to be this proud of?
2. [+352, -105] Honestly, I don't like that she used the fact that she's a sexual minority to get attention and earn political interest for
3. [+350, -155] I wonder how her parents feel? Their own daughter is the student body president of Seoul University but I wonder if it's something they'd want to brag about???
4. [+40, -32] As a straight person who supports sexual minorities, these comments are honestly disappointing. Just because they're different from you doesn't make them wrong.
5. [+39, -46] From Seoul University... the most prestigious college in our country...? This is honestly pathetic. Nothing's going right in the world anymore.
6. [+35, -12] Seoul University students obviously aren't dumb, why would they pick her just for being a lesbian? I'm sure they knew what they were doing when they elected her. Please cut down on the hateful comments...
7. [+32, -33] Congratulations! Please do well for your school so that other sexual minorities, or just anyone in general, isn't left out or discriminated against! Fighting!
8. [+30, -30] Congratulations
9. [+27, -12] Idiots, she wasn't elected because she's a lesbian but because she had ideas that the students believed in...
10. [+24, -19] I truly hope that Seoul University takes the lead in creating a society without discrimination

1. [+2,558, -677] Did she have to mention the fact that she was a lesbian..? I don't personally have a positive view of sexual minorities but I don't put my bias on them either. How you live your life is up to you and just because she's a sexual minority, I hope people don't judge her for just that.
2. [+2,031, -319] Clearly the students of Seoul University elected her because they trusted her to lead them. I can't believe the people who are putting her down not only for being a sexual minority but for being a woman as well. The best college in our country elected someone who is considered a weak minority in our society and the most you all can say is that "she looks like she'd be a lesbian"???? Please use your brains to think for once.
3. [+1,613, -377] The reason Korean men hate gays is because they don't like being looked at the same way they look at women. They will sexualize women all they want but they won't stand for being sexualized themselves by another man. They know exactly what goes on in their heads because they were the ones thinking that.
