[Instiz] Starship overworking Soyu despite back injury
Instiz: SISTAR Soyu and fans currently in a mess with agency
1. Soyu's back injury
There was a bunch of oil on the Hallyu Dream Concert stage performed on September 20th and nobody bothered to wipe it up before SISTAR's stage. Soyu and Hyorin were wearing shoes with metal lined bottoms and Soyu injured her back while slipping around on stage that day. Despite her injury, she still performed at events nationwide and even went to Shanghai for their fan meet on the 24th. Soyu held in her pain well and kept smiling all throughout her schedules.
2. Filmed a Chuseok special for the duet music festival. Smiled and looked bright on camera, but Soyu was actually in so much pain that she had to ask for recordings to be paused. She could barely walk and had to put pressure on her own back by holding it while resting off set before resuming filming.
3. Starship gave Hyorin, Bora, and Dasom time off for the Chuseok holidays. Soyu was not given a break.
4. Soyu's condition worsened on the October 1st M! Countdown filming. She never once showed her pain on stage but the pain had gotten to a point where she could barely hold it in anymore. Anyone who watched that stage should know because even netizens brought it up. Starship finally gave feedback saying she had back pains, clearly showing that Starship was aware of her pain. Still, they lined up her schedule without any breaks. Soyu had the most personal schedules out of all the members too.
5. She had an event yesterday on October 6th. The four of them performed five stages together. Soyu was seen going to the back during the talks in between songs to wipe her tears and sweat. Bora asked the crowd for their understanding because Soyu is still not recovered and is in pain. When their next song began playing, the members came out and started interacting with the crowd but Soyu was still sitting on the floor backstage, unable to get back up.
Fans exploded in anger after finding out that Soyu's condition had worsened to where she couldn't walk or even find her balance standing up. Soyu was also spotted holding on to Dasom in the back because she couldn't hold herself up otherwise. Starship has not responded to these concerns or given her time off for treatment.
