Crush's 'Oasis' comes under plagiarism suspicions

Article: [Exclusive] Crush's 'Oasis' under plagiarism suspicions "practically a remake"

Source: Kukmin Ilbo via Naver

with Eric Bellinger's Awkward

1. [+2,654, -72] Ehhh????? The song's plagiarized? If it's on par with a remake, that's too far

2. [+2,609, -64] If he copied it, he copied it. It doesn't matter to what extent.

3. [+2,400, -56] This has been in the buzz for a few days now but it's been kept quiet for some reason.. finally an article's up;; anyway, the plagiarism is undeniable

4. [+1,814, -55] I took a listen and even I suspected it of plagiarism

5. [+1,387, -868] Just a reminder that these are just suspicions for now, it hasn't been ruled as plagiarism yet

6. [+439, -13] tsk tsk.. Amoeba still hasn't woken up yet.. from Plagiarmary to Crush now?

7. [+424, -13] So embarrassed of plagiarizing composers... honestly an embarrassment to Korea. Can't there be a rule that kicks composers from releasing songs if they have three counts of plagiarism? Even if not a ban, at least a ban from releasing songs for a few years or a limit on how many they can release in a time period.

8. [+420, -10] I know nothing about music and it's undeniable to me. Crush needs to clarify this...

9. [+400, -9] There's a video of the two songs compared side by side and I didn't even know a new song had started because it flowed so naturally..

10. [+338, -9] It's totally the same ㅋㅋ better not call it an homage

  1. there is not originality in kpop so stop being detectives whenever a new song came out and insist that it being plagiarized.

    ReplyDelete
  6. bobby flay maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  7. It's obviously a homage

    ReplyDelete
  8. Damn, it was doing really well on the charts too... Though from what Ive seen before even when folks get accused of plagarizing, their songs continue to do well.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Wow i dissaproved all song that knetizen said it was plagiarism but this one is definitely plagiarism if its not the korean version 😮😮😮😮

    ReplyDelete
  10. Even Amber retweeted a tweet claiming this...

    ReplyDelete
  11. New day new plagiarism issue

    ReplyDelete
  12. It's the same song lol he better has bought the rights

    ReplyDelete
  13. Well damn now I have 2 songs I really like. I'm tired of this plagiarism thingy, I'll just enjoy the music

if only people were this overly sensible for idols lol.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Noooo! Crush! WHYYYY!! The tune is obviously ripped off but He is really talented and has amazing songs, i mean just check his other song You and I.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ah...I kinda hoped its just the netizens taking it too far again but it really seems a copy of the american version. Too bad but it shouldn't affect charting position at all. The song is still good!

    ReplyDelete

What the hell does that even mean, it's not like there's some official ruling about whether it is or isn't

It's always a common few producers who plagarize. It might not be your unnies/oppars fault (cept maybe those that produce their 'own' songs...👀) , but it is the productions fault.

Where are those keyboard warriors defending this now and saying "it's not the whole song, it's only a line" "kpop is influenced so of course it sounds the same"

You guys only defend cause you like those groups. Plagarism is plagarism, intended or not.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Have you even listen the song it's the same lmao really check the comparison vid

    ReplyDelete
  20. Plagiarism news seems to be the trend these days..

    ReplyDelete
  21. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:21 PM

Let's listen to both tracks separately because as we saw with 'Sober' those 'plagiarism proof' videos can have the audio edited.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oYgNBgnQfk

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH6gh24kKqY

Conclusion: There's an undeniable similarity. It may not be plagiarism (to me personally it is) since I know nothing about music but come on...

    ReplyDelete
  22. It's a pity but I love the song anyway xD

    ReplyDelete
  23. I couldn't stand the song because of Zico coming in to fuck it up but now it turns out there's another reason it just wouldn't fly with me. Great.

    ReplyDelete
  24. oh man this is so disappointing :'< i really liked the track.
I don't think he's gonna be able to defend himself logically.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I like this song so idgaf

    ReplyDelete
  26. whisperedmemoriesJuly 15, 2015 at 4:22 PM

Btw I really do like Crush and his songs, but this is far too obvious. I even had a mindset of "no way, definitely another accusal" going in to listen, but... duuudddeee. This cannot be denied.

    ReplyDelete
  27. its like the korean version of the same song

    ReplyDelete
  28. No need to sugarcoat, the melody is exactly the same, same chord progressions and even in the same key. It's plagiarism.

    ReplyDelete
  29. i adore crush but they do sound similar to ME.
anyways, i like the song (except from zico's verse). i liked the english song too lol

    ReplyDelete
  30. Totally skeptic abt the article bcs Big Bang's plagiarism issue with Sober was total crap but after hearing both songs..... someone's definitely in trouble. The songs are basically the same. :O

    ReplyDelete
  31. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:24 PM

I'm not sugarcoating, I was just expressing my honest opinion as someone who doesn't understand a thing about music. I don't know who Crush is and this is my first time hearing about him or the song so I'm definitely not sugarcoating XD

    ReplyDelete
  32. He didn't buy the rights. Just asking for trouble. Look at KOMCA's credits for the song. It's just Shin Hyo Sub (Crush) and Zico. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  33. It is similar...

    ReplyDelete
  34. yes but incorrect now as Sistar has already slayed him back ^^

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is the first time I can finally see the plagiarism... They are exactly the same, even the way they sing the lyrics

    ReplyDelete
  36. Here have a third one~ his other song You and I is just as good if not better! (Its for me)
    https://youtu.be/yE6Ljs69CkM

    ReplyDelete
  37. wy the song reminds me of call me baby??????

    ReplyDelete
  38. i'm not accusing you of anything, just clarifying.

    ReplyDelete
  39. They sound similar but you can't call that plagiarism, the chords aren't the same nor at the same beat/rhythm/tempo.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Plagiarism or not imma still jam to the song lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:26 PM

Nah, it's okay, it's just weird because I don't even know who the guy is lol

    ReplyDelete
  42. I thought it sounded really western but assumed it was just because crush might have lived in the US or something. I don't know that much about him or if he even composed this song, but I hope he didn't since even thought nothing will probably come from this it has to be embarrassing.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Bruh Crush's song just sounds like a Korean version of it

    ReplyDelete
  44. Damn girl don't give a shit.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Copy and paste. Purely and simply.
No need to argue, they're the same.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yes there is though. There is a legal definition of plagiarism.

    ReplyDelete
  47. oh my god... it's so similar that I thought I was listening to the same song twice. sigh. ah man. that a big NO NO

    ReplyDelete
  48. Damn no shame, he didn't even try to change it a little lol. 100% plagiarism

    ReplyDelete
  49. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:30 PM

Maybe that's because they're exactly the same song XD (At least for me)

    ReplyDelete
  50. ??? Of course there is. You have to go to court and there is a certain amount that has to legally be proven copied before it can be called plagiarism which is why there is a difference between something sounding similar and being straight up plagiarism. Smh.

    ReplyDelete
  51. they were always a thing this still isn't as bad as the second lee hyori scandal where pretty much her entire album was plagiarized songs including a very obvious one from Jason Derulo.

    ReplyDelete
  52. They made a few changes made here and there to try and cover their butts, but its there in your face. Its pretty much the same song cept the korean version of it.

    ReplyDelete
  53. A Private PersonJuly 15, 2015 at 4:32 PM

amber calling people out all the time lol

    ReplyDelete
  54. 100% remake. This is not even a one-line similarity, but the whole song :/

    ReplyDelete
  55. They sound really similar but I am unsure if he ends up getting sued for plagiarism that Eric would win, there's too many differences in where the chords come in, their tempo/rhythm, and Crush's main melody. It's the same key, same chords (i don't think the same progression but it could just be the rhythm fooling me). Also there's a certain percentage of the song that has to be copied in order for it to be plagiarism, I personally don't think enough of it is there (for example in Oasis the chords continue the entire song, in Awkward they don't).

But this doesn't look good in the public eye.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I remember listening to Oasis thinking "Where the hell did I hear this song from??!!" BOOM! Eric's Awkward. I should have just referred to my Soundcloud.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:33 PM

Amber knows how to put people back in their place.

    ReplyDelete
  58. people letting that piano section get to them. honestly besides that part "which isnt completely the same either" the rest are different.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:35 PM

... Maybe because there is ?

    ReplyDelete
  60. A Private PersonJuly 15, 2015 at 4:35 PM

    l m a ooooooooooooooooooo

    ReplyDelete
  61. it's really sounds the same

    ReplyDelete
  62. There are some parts you can't even sing along to lol

    ReplyDelete
  63. Zico is just "A" which means he only wrote his lyrics. "C" stands for composer, meaning it's only Crush and Stay Tuned who are at fault here.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Plagarism is everywhere. In the West, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, Madonna, Rolling Stones, Avril Lavigne, Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Shakira, Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor, Robyn Thicke, Pharell, etc were all accused of plagarism. I've becomed desensitised to plagarism bc it happens so often.

Good music sometimes comes out of it. As longs as issues are resolved between the parties invovled, I don't even care. Crush's Oasis is my jam. I'm sad it wasn't original, but it will still continue to be my jam despite the plagarism.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I definitely can tell where the songs stop being similar, I think it's just that the parts that are are too obvious. So long as he is not credited as having composed the song and only took credit for writing the lyrics then this isn't something he won't be able to get past with another good track.

    ReplyDelete
  66. it does sound the same but i'm not an expert so not sure.
anyway why do they keep plagiarizing songs nowadays ? don't they know that it's the internet era ? nothing can be hidden anymore !

    ReplyDelete
  67. ...i don't get it

    ReplyDelete
  68. you think a random internet person calling it plagiarism mean it is? of course there are official rulings. they go to court for things like this.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:41 PM

    Oops.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I dont think we will see a lawsuit because Eric's song is similar to others too.

    ReplyDelete
  71. He also ripped this beat off every DJ Mustard beat. The shameless copying of western rappers is kinda sad

    ReplyDelete
  72. Unfortunately he wrote the lyrics and composed the song, so he's gonna be in hot water. Luckily someone else also composed it too so he might not share the full brunt of netizen rage?

Yeah the chords and the key being the exact same are nagl but that doesn't mean it's actual legal plagiarism. So if he really did try and copy the song he did so in a pretty smart way lol.

    ReplyDelete
  73. the song crush allegedly plagiarized is called 'awkward'.

    ReplyDelete
  74. dj mustard rips off himself. he cant create a new beat even if he tried.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think they assume that they're in such a small market that not enough people care?

    ReplyDelete
  76. The song was composed/arranged by Crush and Stay Tuned. Zico only helped write the lyrics. Here is the credit information http://www.melon.com/song/detail.htm?songId=5771304

    ReplyDelete
  77. It undeniably sounds quite similar, but Idk if it's just the piano, which is quite a trope in R&B atm.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueJuly 15, 2015 at 4:44 PM

This is the moment in which sh*t gets real

    ReplyDelete
  79. I have listen to each back to back and I agree with you, the songs just have similar sounds to them. That is why people think is it the same.

The chorus is way different, the rap is waaaaaay different. The beat may be similar but what gets people is that the chords and the piano sounds are the same.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Yes, I agree the two songs are similar, but they are not a 100% the same as some people are claiming. It is not a cut and paste job as there are some differences. It is still messed up though. I doubt if in court they would rule for Eric Bellinger since the laws on plagiarism are a bit vague.

    ReplyDelete
  81. the only similarity is the piano which seems to be faster on crush's song but there is a slight variation to it. the rest honestly doesnt sound the same. u can try singing the melody of his song on the other beat and it wont fit.

    ReplyDelete
  82. OMG, that sounds totally the same!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Whyyy Crush whyyyyy

    ReplyDelete
  84. From the beginning I've been saying that crush song sounded like the same shit artist in the states have been putting out recently. Like a chris brown tyga song but basic...if that was even possible. Sounds like a pia Mia or mila j ft Ty dolla sign song Lolz put it in korean and ppl eat it up but shit on the same type of music on billboard. Waiting for a Kay cola song to be "remade" in korea tbh

    ReplyDelete
  85. Jenizz | pinkcrownJuly 15, 2015 at 4:48 PM

That makes me sad. :( Hope it's bought and not copied.. because it basically is the SAME.. :(

    ReplyDelete
  86. Crusssssshhhhh!!!! Why dude, why? First featuring Zico and now this... Also, AC is such a mess. Supreme Team, Primary, now this. I just can't....Zion.T istg if you ever do anything like this.....

    ReplyDelete
  87. You can't shield his it's totally similar. Too bad I liked "crush on you"
A question I always ask myself is in what kind of mindstate was the person to actually resort to plagiarism ?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Ugh, Crush! Makes me want to take out my delusional stan hat and viciously deny all these facts.

That really sucks. This was a pre-release for the new album so hopefully this doesn't knock off any plans. It took forever for Primary to put out Mannequin (probably his best song, tbh) after his scandal happened.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I agree. I came in ready to type "stop reaching", then I listened to the songs.... :(

    ReplyDelete
  90. tbh i wouldn't be surprised if amber frequented nb or asianjunkie

    ReplyDelete
  91. It's practically the korean version of the song lol

    ReplyDelete
  92. If you ask me as long as he doesn't admit to it, he'll be completely fine. And as long as the rest of the tracks on the album don't go through this a la Lee Hyori, people will forget.

    ReplyDelete
  93. seriously? that's nagl....

    ReplyDelete
  94. oooh!
+1 for original op then lol

    ReplyDelete
  95. he's still up there lmao

    ReplyDelete
  96. but how could you have made a judgement before even listening to it??

    ReplyDelete
  97. Seems like they kinda copied the music and wrote their own lyrics to the song.

    ReplyDelete
  98. disqus_fMXNmwdJ9OJuly 15, 2015 at 4:55 PM

    It sound like a feat.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Honestly, sometimes plagiarism is intentional and unintentional. Unintentional: Ah, I made this song on my own and it sounds like the other one! or This song was my jam! *music is influenced by it*

    ReplyDelete
  100. disqus_fMXNmwdJ9OJuly 15, 2015 at 4:57 PM

I'm Amber. You figured it out

    ReplyDelete
  101. Where? I went on her twitter and couldn't find it

    ReplyDelete
  102. "there is not originality in kpop" these kinds of comments really annoy me ~_~ it's a shame ppl plagiarize, but why deny the hard work of other people too?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh boy. Hard to argue this one away. It's almost the same song, just in Korean lol

    ReplyDelete
  104. I'M DYING AT 2:13 OMG WHAT *IS* THAT?!?! AHHHHH LMFAO IRL IT SOUNDS LIKE A SCARED ROOSTER OMG

    ReplyDelete
  105. Copy of a copy of a copy applies here, I hope the right, hopefully everything gets resolved.

    ReplyDelete
  106. lol I'm just a bit tired of all the plagiarism scandals. There have been like 7 this years none of them sounds remotely similar

    ReplyDelete
  107. Welcome to the netizenbuzz comments section

    ReplyDelete
  108. its totally the same though.. atleast pay for the copyrights then
revive it right? totally caught.. its a good beat and song too..

    ReplyDelete
  109. It is the exact same song ............ damn...... didn't even try to hide it...

    ReplyDelete
  110. Why wear cheap clothes when you can buy quality and ethical clothes????

    ReplyDelete
  111. Lol dont ever put hangeng and ex-exo kids in the same situation because it's totally, wayyy different!

    ReplyDelete
  112. Do you guys know where I could watch SJ eps in RS with engsub? I rarely find every eps of them

    ReplyDelete
  113. Eunhyuk-IU scandal is old news. People need to get over it. They are adults. IU was of legal age. So even if anything happened,im sure they were both consenting to it. Netizens that bashed them probably doesnt get any action.

Hangeng seems to be doing well on his own now. He doesnt need to split money among 13 members and is treated better. Im glad Suju is still able to keep in touch with him.

Kibum.. he hasn't been active in Suju since sorry sorry era. What the heck happened to him?

    ReplyDelete
  114. You gon' get crushed now.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Because SOME knetz always exaggerate everything

    ReplyDelete
  116. "Eunhyuk
did nothing and then had to deal with all sorts of sexual comments,
which are still going on today."

really? eunhyuk had to do deal with all sorts of sexual comments? and iu didnt? iu had to deal with A LOT WORSE. eunhyuk is able to laugh about the damn situation while I'm pretty sure IU still can't. fangirls are so fucking delusional.

    ReplyDelete

    👍👏
    Here have a candy. 🍭

But I agree with them. lol
Most fans don't seem to realise that idols wear sponsored clothes at airports too, just like they do for events since all eyes are on them even there to look their best and they are pressured by the whole "airport fashion" thing. The fans think the idol buys these clothes with so much money after they go Google the clothes to find the brand, then label them all as "daddy". It makes me cringe and laugh so hard at the same time.
For SM idols, one of the biggest clothes sponsorer for them is a Korean brand called Trenta. You'll see a lot of SM idols wearing caps, sunglasses, jackets and other things from them at airports.
If the idols are given these clothing items and accessories for keeps instead of wearing for that one trip as models then I think it's a good job they have businesses sponsoring their outfits. Free clothes is always a good thing. :D

Other times they wear fan gift clothes or their own comfortable style of everyday clothes, which I always prefer.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Congratulations. Wedding. Success.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Nah it's just that him being a dick has been a known fact for years so as much as people feel sorry for her there's also a lot of "Well, what did you expect really" kind of feeling attached to it.

    ReplyDelete
  123. This kind of issue basically isn't something to hate/love.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I bet people were rolling their eyes at him while he was giving his speech. Two faced liar and hypocrite.
If he talked about how happy he and his wife are then I would laugh at his face because it feels like they are in more of a business relationship, where they need to stay together for their shared wealth and status.
His speech would be more of a burden then a blessing.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Plus this dress is from H&M they don't need to sponsor clothes. The pricey stuff is often sponsored.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Cheating is never a mistake its a choice.

    ReplyDelete
  127. The dress costs 17$ but she wears it really well. On the other hand some celebrities spend thousand on ugly clothes.
If she likes the dress, 17$ or 1700$ shouldn't even matter anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I saw hyoyeon with the same purse from few years ago...

    ReplyDelete
  131. Why are they even getting mad at lee min Jung? A shitty thing happened to her and just because it's "embarrassing" doesn't mean she has to go in hiding. She's obviously trying to start a new life and that includes doing normal things.

    ReplyDelete
  132. no why. its jongup's face. i pray he/she will never change the dp. it reminds me of bap... those good memories... :(

    ReplyDelete

  135. ???? People who make millions might want to be spend frugally to STAY a millionaire...?????

    ReplyDelete
  136. H&M clothes are pretty cool and have a low price .. whats wrong if she buy these things.. its not sensible...

    ReplyDelete
  137. You're the salty a$$ b*tch who goes around acting all high and mighty on ppl's comments honey, even when they clearly say they are just rambling or sharing a personal opinion. You clearly have a problem with yourself. lmfao
Maybe acting up like this makes you feel better about your real life personality not being the same. Go ahead and do that. Hope you feel better soon. (:

    ReplyDelete
  140. Seohyun and IU are all good and all that. Yay nice for them. But for me, Kang Sora will always slay. I am a girl but I was really gobsmacked when I saw her in that H&m dress. She is so pretty and has a fabulous body. I want a body like her too :(

    ReplyDelete
  141. Basically Kang Sora made headlines not because she just wore a cheap dress but because of how pretty she looked and pulled off the dress with grace.
And then after that all these news about celebs wearing cheap clothes keep on appearing lol. I'm like... okay? soo....?

    ReplyDelete
  142. Downvote is actually working~July 15, 2015 at 6:21 PM

I believe win the last comment. Sometimes, as a celebrity you need to be careful what you're wearing. Not because people's comments about your style but because you are a walking billboard!! Lol. They have a huge value esp as famous as let's say big bang, Snsd, EXO. What they're wearing most of time are sponsor, they get money for wearing that so fans would buy. It's a promotion.

    ReplyDelete
  143. 0. [+22, -5] I think it's funny that people are trying to say she's sensible when this is all just a huge ad for a dress. Seohyun may be a frugal spender in her private life but this is clearly an ad for her dress, just like every other brand SNSD wears at the airport. They get paid thousands to put these clothes on and people expect us to think Seohyun's sensible for wearing a $17 dress??? Talk about smart financing
Exactly, and that includes most Kpop stars.

    ReplyDelete
  144. I don't give two shits about celebs' personal lives. I just want them to appear on a drama soon. Miss them on small screen :(
Iris was fucking good and Sly and Single again was so cute.

  145. lol I'm a VIP too and that's what I was thinking about when I typed it xD, the whole "of course it's god bang" my insides just twist at how cheesy and stupid it sounds.

    ReplyDelete
  146. I don't think someone like seohyun has any intend for doing this.
She just came to store. Buy anything she likes without caring the price tag.

  152. $17 is not cheap for a dress.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Most of them wears sponsored items. many fans will now buy this dress because its cheap and also it makes them feel closer to seohyun. this is why u see idols wearing similar clothes sometimes and people say they are couple items. lol

even if its bought it herself $17 is not cheap. its a nice price for a dress.

  154. The couple probably begged them to give a speech, I highly doubt they would go up there voluntarily.

    ReplyDelete
  155. i don't wear dresses at all (being a shirt-and-jeans person), but since seohyun is my bias i think i'm gonna drop by h&m today and look for that dress. :P

  158. her money. she can buy & invest in whatever she chooses. only people who can have a say are her parents.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Last time I checked they praise Kang Sora and IU. But they dislike it when it comes to Seohyun? Really? I mean at least she doesn't go cray cray over branded items and looks for a quality wise and affordable clothes. I want to be like her.

    ReplyDelete
  160. Well, that's the only valid reason I can think of.

    ReplyDelete
  161. She did? Woahhhh that's great

    ReplyDelete
  162. Man ! People need to chill out ! She can wear whatever she wants... She donates a lot, pays tuitions for students too...

    ReplyDelete
  163. You are right.. Seohyun would rather spend her hard earned money on donations for needy causes rather than luxurious goods that will be passé a year from now..

  164. Lee Min Jung doesn't need your sympathy

    ReplyDelete
  165. If you have a face like her.. 1$ dress will be like $100~~~

    ReplyDelete
  166. Maybe she just like me. Don't care about clothes' brand. But always pick the best for bag and shoes.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I know.. She was even in a car accident rushing to do some charity work at a orphanage for blind children on her day off..

    ReplyDelete
  168. Wow I didn't know that! I'm half Syrian and that just made me like her 100x more. Thanks for sharing that, positive things don't get the coverage they deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  169. So wtf is the issue now? Seohyun, or anybody, can wear whatever they want. It's funny that some of them are just obsessing over the price of one damn dress. If you look great in it, wear it. Why must everything become an issue on morals.

    ReplyDelete
  170. Maybe she just doesn't feel like spending much on clothes. Maybe she's planning to invest in something else bigger. Whatever. She's using her own money to do what she want.

A celebrity's life is so hard.

  173. Why are they telling her what to do with her own money?? Lol.
She chose not to buy expensive clothes and spend it on smarter things instead (she could have invested those money somewhere for her future, without us knowing). Smh at netizens.

    Thank you, you too.
Just going to address the last topic about the USA because it is one off the biggest fears of Brazilian population that when their water ends they will invade Brazil seeing that we have the biggest drinkable water resource. I'm honestly quite afraid of the future seeing how politicians talk with environmentalists every time they try to address the impact the country is doing to the earth.

  178. So what if one day, SNSD's career come to a halt? She'll have money in the bank saved up cause she wasn't using it on super expensive cars and designer outfits. ^_^

  183. hmm i dont remember but i think she brought a house with the money she made...
I think Goo Hara is the only idol so far that is a landlord. Which is a really smart move because the money keeps rolling in. Unless you have a bad tenant.
Bi, Rain, is a landlord but he was on a news that he's having a hard time with a certain tenant.

  185. I do not think the USA will 'invade' unless they can claim some political reason but I doubt they will get support. I wouldn't put it past them to try to buy up Brazilian water or try some sort of deal with politicians to obtain it. It won't be a military invasion but a business one which is just as bad.
It's a question of what will come fast the consequences of global warming expected in the next 10 years or the business market pre-empting. It is a valid concern, and it's horrible seeing so much of the land in America that has been sucked quite literally dry from intensive agriculture and unsustainable resource use and distribution because people have a misconceived idea that resources of infinite and if it's not local it can just be bought. There seems to be a major idea that anything is for sale and if it's not than they can make it so, which is probably why a majority of people from other countries are most scared of or concerned about America.
The fear is good in a way, it shows awareness. It would be great if it could be broadcast, like doing a small 'research' survey asking a few hundred- thousand brazilian people (if you can spread it online) what they are afraid of in the next 10-20 years and publish your findings (in paper or as a video blog) and you could e-mail it to BBC world and see if they cover a story on it as it highlights Environmental concerns, international relations, how America is perceived (which is a interesting topic), and limiting resources in the future. I know that sounds ambitious but if you did ever fancy it, and it was successful it might inspire other countries to come forward and voice their concerns which might have some influence in restricting any plans, if they exist, of that nature. But that is quite a big ask.

Speaking of China, there was a news report on the pollution in China, with literally the air, food and water are all poisoned with metals that people are getting cancers and dying. I have seen many updates on China about small villages having uprising that are violently put down by the military because of the china being the 'factory of the world' is killing people. Now it seems China is starting to pull down the most polluting factories supposedly in answer to this national amount of pollution but possibly because all the river systems are contaminated with factory effluent and they will not be able to sell their crops.
I can not say anything about China and India's will to out source resources but I do think there is more acknowledgement from those countries to confront these problems within their country rather than become dependent on others. Indeed in China's case, there is probably not enough resources externally to meet demand and the people are disillusioned enough.
It's not bright but hopefully it's not that glum. I feel countries are already trying to negotiate with China to help mitigate their problems since China an important resource to the world.
I do agree things will get worse before they get better, it's just a matter how how far people are willing to watch it go before real, firm action is put in place. It will take all levels of society from the individual to international to change their behaviours to even slow down the trend but so long as it is possible there is hope and that is the main thing.

Anyway, maybe we should wrap up. Let's do our best for those around us and for the world, as much as we can.
