Article: [Exclusive] Park Shi Hoo to return to the small screen with 'Golden Cross'

1. [+955, -69] Scary what a change in image can do for you. I used to think his smile looked so friendly in the past but... why is it disgusting now...

2. [+821, -66] Isn't it too early...? His image is still tarnished from the scandal, I don't think the drama knows what it's doing by picking Park Shi Hoo as its lead

3. [+629, -42] Seems he's testing the waters... just stay inside.

4. [+64, -6] Is he nuts?

5. [+53, -7] Why does our country think this is okay... This is insane.

6. [+51, -6] Such thick skin he has. The fact that he was even cast is amazing... the ripples of his scandal have yet to subside. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

7. [+43, -7] Just seeing his face makes me throw up. Screw off!!

8. [+35, -4] You know what's even more goose bump inducing? The role he'll be playing in the drama is a prosecutor who is falsely charged ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  1. Can someone tell me what his scandal was please?

    ReplyDelete
  2. he is accused of raping a drunk woman.

    ReplyDelete
  3. That case was really not very clear. He's been cleared by the courts although some uncertainty remains in some people's minds, but I see no issue with him coming back. It feels like its been forever.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Even that murderer Jo Hyung Ki can continue to appear on public broadcast, I don't see why he can't.

    ReplyDelete
  5. So confused by his case. I honestly don't know wether his guilty or not cause there were holes and I discrepancies in the stories both him and the woman who accused him of rape told. Does anyone have more info?

    well that's.... interesting

    ReplyDelete
  7. No more than the average Joe. Its quite dubious....only the affected parties really know what happened that night.

    ReplyDelete
  8. ooft. so soon. I heard about this before, so I'm not quite surprised, but it's still pretty soon. I guess he has to start some time around before people forget about him completely

    ReplyDelete
  9. I don't care about his scandal because he is an actor and acting is what he's supposed to be doing. Besides the whole thing is still unclear to this day so we can't put all the blame on him alone. Stay strong Park Sihoo, I am looking forward to see you on screen again.

    Cannot unsee

  11. He still have to work at the end, celebrity or not.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Right before he got into his scandal, I was watching a ton of his dramas that year (Alice, Prosecutor Princess, Princess Man) so I agree with comment #1.

    ReplyDelete
  13. what is the different if he return acting now or later?...the knetizens will never forget anyways...

    ReplyDelete
  14. If you can forgive murderers and child rapists then you can allow Park Si Hoo to appear on TV again.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ugh his case went back and forth like a fucking ping pong ball and now that's it's over we still don't know what the hell happened.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Seems pretty clear cut to me. She was passed out drunk and throwing up. Had to be carried into his apartment the cctv showed. They had sex. She couldn't have consented I don't care what his fangirls say. Plus his people did all sorts of shady things trying to ruin her reputation. Kaoala was pretty unbiased if you want more information in http://koalasplayground.com/tag/park-shi-hoo/ might check those links out

    ReplyDelete
  17. MC the max toped the chart and no one said anything , so if people listened to his songs , they can also follow his drama ...

    ReplyDelete
  18. The girl might used him because he is a celebrity.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Can someone tell me who is he I don't watch dramas :/

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think that kinda works to his advantage. Although the scandal without a doubt damaged his image, the case was so damn messy that people can't point fingers at him for certain either.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I wanted to rewatch The Princess' Man and now I can't without feeling gross. Hate him forever.

    ReplyDelete
  22. 4. [+64, -6] Is he nuts?
    i guess he is...

    ReplyDelete
  23. i can't never see him as the same person after the scandal...

    ReplyDelete
  24. the princess man, cheongdamdong alice

    ReplyDelete
  25. Got to admit a great way to attract attention. But damn people with messed up images are still going strong in Korea lately from artist to actors

    ReplyDelete
  26. He wasn't cleared by the courts. He failed lie detector tests and they recommended he be indicted . The prosecution later dropped all charges when she did, probably because of a settlement.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i still remember how addicted i was to Princess Man.. a good historical drama.. his role was heartbreaking.. he's a good actor.. but it's not the same anymore..

    ReplyDelete
  28. Ohhh I see. Just makes it more strange. Why settle? Coercion or the entire thing was fake to begin with? This is one of those mysteries that will remain as such.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Most of the commenters are HATERS anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  30. His family is seriously rich and her name was leaked, her picture everywhere and her reputation ruined. His team did a good job at creating doubt and leaking stuff that made her look bad. She's probably no saint, but just from the facts she was definitely taken advantage of by a much older man.

    ReplyDelete
  31. i really have ill feelings towards him . he makes me want to throw up

    ReplyDelete
  32. there is mixed views

    http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.sg/2014/01/mixed-views-against-mc-maxs-successful.html

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ikr.. usually celebrities with pretty big scandal will be just done but nowadays looks like they're doing fine.. even getting more and more 'negative' attentions.

    ReplyDelete
  34. if its a typical romance drama with a love triangle, threesome jokes will definitely be the trend lol.

    ReplyDelete
  35. 1. [+955, -69] Scary what a change in image can do for you. I used to think his smile looked so friendly in the past but... why is it disgusting now...

I adored him in Prosecutor Princess and The Princess's Man, so i was disappointed/disgusted when hearing about the scandal. Welp if MC the max's leader is frolicking about I'm sure he can come back too

    ReplyDelete
  36. Money always talks. The rich can always pay one's price.

    ReplyDelete
  37. He and another trainee were accused of raping a female trainee last year, but the charges were mysteriously dropped. He fled to America after that.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'm excited about the lee shi-young casting news but.. no, shi-young ah don't do this.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I have a friend whose a delulu fan girl for this guy. If you even mention the scandal to her she'll flip out.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't think anyone forgave them

    ReplyDelete
  41. So did he rape her or not?

    ReplyDelete
  42. He and a trainee were accused of raping a female trainee last year. After the charges were mysteriously dropped he fled to America.

    ReplyDelete
  43. isn't his scandal still unclear??

    ReplyDelete
  44. lol no. I'm not saying he didn't do it, I'm saying that we don't know the truth to the story. I respect him as an actor and feel that his career should not be judged based on something that has nothing to do with his professional life.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The lie detector test he failed says other wise :/

    ReplyDelete
  46. There's evidence that she could've made it up, but there's also evidence that he could've raped her so know one knows for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  47. They had sex (he admitted it) and she was drunk. What do you think.

    ReplyDelete
  48. If a murderer and a rapist can appear and promote when and where they want, it wouldn't be a problem for him to act. What a cool country indeed...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sorry about this comment but I don't really understand bout k-netz and k-culture. I mean, it seems like they are open bout sex before marriage, one night stand etc based on all the k-dramas.
And what makes this difference from those sexy girls group that perform on stage like they are in strip club?
Plus if he's not korean but someone from western country, then I think there'll be no issue. Is that it?

    ReplyDelete
  50. I get that he had a one night stand. I bet lots of celebrities have one night stands. I just don't get why he would be stupid enough to have sex with her. Based on her kakaotalk messages the night before an the next morning after she was allegedly "raped", she seemed pretty unfazed by all of it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. They are not open love haha that's why when stories like this pop up they always say it's like a drama, now of course in reality people have sex before marriage but you keep it on the DL PDA is something they look down in (trust me) except for like if your married and it's something simple like holding hands or hugging :/

    ReplyDelete
  52. I like him in dramas so I'm exited for the drama.

    ReplyDelete
  53. 2. [+821, -66] Isn't it too early...? His image is still tarnished from
the scandal, I don't think the drama knows what it's doing by picking
Park Shi Hoo as its lead

Is there a shortage of good korean male actors?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I couldn't even finish watching Prosecutor Princess because of the scandal, and I REALLY liked that show. It just gave me goosebumbs overtime I saw him, so I doubt I'll ever be able to watch anything of his ever again without a slight guilty conscience and major discomfort.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It's not abt the one night stand or something like that.. knetz pissed because the girl was drunk and she claimed that she was rapped by him.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I just like.. WHAT DAFUQ IS THIS? LOL worse than smash xD

    ReplyDelete
  57. So many people praised MC Hammer but whyvnot him.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hm I thought his scandal was found out to be a lie from the victim in order to get money from him? Why are netizens pissed at him if he was accused wrongly?

    ReplyDelete
  59. kbs bans people who gambled from appearing on tv but he can lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. No, it wasn't at all. Charges were mysteriously dropped after he was indicted. He said he would sue the accuser for lying and let the truth be known, which he never did of course.

    ReplyDelete
  61. why do idols keep wanting to act like pls don't there was a reason you debuted as an idol.

    ReplyDelete
  62. they don't specially hate naeun. netizens are just like many of us who find it unfair to see them admitted in prestigious school because of their star status. they both sucking each other just for popularity sake and not for the quality education.

    ReplyDelete
  63. what???....no wonder knetz so furious....hul

    ReplyDelete
  64. No one knows for sure if it was a lie. There's a lot of evidence against both of them. She mysteriously dropped the charges, and he fled to America after that.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Darn... I totally forgot about PSH. His case is so messy & shady tbh. So, knetz still not giving him a new nick name? If Jo Hyung Ki is Killer Jo and Ryu Si Won is Ryucifer, I wonder what they'll called him.

    ReplyDelete
  66. A fucking men. I was going to ask what happened in the end. It looks like it got buried under other newses.

    ReplyDelete
  67. _s_r_kamb_b_s_ °^°February 27, 2014 at 1:39 AM

What if I told you, in countries like sk ... # of admission seats <<< people who apply. So people with 90+ might be rejected from programs if celebs are taking away their seats. Its not like many celebs attend school on a regular basis anyway. For a normal person, a degree leads to a career. For a celeb, its just their back up plan.

    ReplyDelete
  68. There was only one questionable message and it was about showing off her acting skills to the police. Everything else wasn't bad.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yeah, but there's also evidence that she might have been lieing. Her Kakao messages before and after seems like she wasn't really fazed by it, but there's video of him carrying here into a building. Maybe she was passed out maybe she was too drunk to walk properly. They also found his DNA on her.

    ReplyDelete
  70. He said he was going to sue her, but then didn't, and ran away to the USA.

    ReplyDelete
  71. i remmber when netizen bash 94 line last year...if i not mistaken...krystal & jiyoung ?

    ReplyDelete
  72. They dared to plagiarise 2PM, lol!!!!!

Laughing so hard right now. Ghastly.

    ReplyDelete
  73. i can't simply believe on that without valid link that naeun or other idols took the exam. but even if the school says it doesn't give special treatment, there's always celebrities or bunches of rich people who can get in because of their connection inside.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Honestly, I'm still not sure whether he's truly guilty or it's the woman who falsely accused him. So, I'm having mixed feeling of seeing him again in dramas. I used to be a fan of him, he's a good actor. But after this scandal, I don't even know whether I should be supporting him or be disgusted.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It's not like they all failed them though. She passed. He and his friend (also accused) failed multiple tests.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I tried to be unbiased but I just can't. To think I used to be one of his biggest fans after Princess Man. Even if he didn't rape the girl, the fact that he had a one night stand with a girl years younger than him is too much. I can't watch Princess Man and not see what he did and i am angey that he ruined my favorite drama. And I agree with the smile comment. His smile used to be one of the best but now I just get creeped out.

    ReplyDelete
  77. ohhh now that you mention it, i see this in a different perspective. thankyou for clearing this up.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I am neither a sone or blackjack but I prefer Comeback Home/Crush than Mr Mr. But I dont love them enough to buy the albums in itunes. I prefer to download the song for free from websites. So whatever song they release is non factors to me.Haha

    ReplyDelete
  79. 5. [+74, -3] What's the point? She can't act anyway ㅋㅋㅋ Can't sing, can't act

Her acting in WGM was pretty good though :L

    ReplyDelete
  80. that's faster than i thought.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Kaya who's modeling j'estina with kim soo hyun? the idela type on kim soo hyun?

    ReplyDelete
  82. yepeuuuuttttaaaaa,,,,

    ReplyDelete
  83. Looked like a psychotic rapist to me

    ReplyDelete
  84. 6. [+184 ,-25] Why is an idol even studying acting? What is wrong with our country? There's no room for rookie actors anymore because of kids like you

this is so stupid ppl have to think of this .idols are also human . their beauty would fade away , and i am sure they are well aware of it. therefore rather than someone who just depend on looks they actually take the initiative to study to have atleast an achievement under their belt to fallback on when their group fall apart

    7. [+160, -21] To all the fans defending this ㅋㅋ I'm a Pink Panda myself but there's no excuse, she never took the college entrance exams these past two years. She rejected a special treatment admission and media played a lot about getting into college on her own but she got in through special treatment once again this time ㅋㅋㅋ This really makes me want to give up being a fan of this gorup

i highly doubt that he or she is a pink panda . if she was she wouldnt do this . and pls do give up being a fan becos i doubt apink want a fans like this .

    ReplyDelete
  85. did you think of those who did get a high enough grade/score, who studied day & night, & qualified but spot got taken just because shes an idol & has $$$??? there are people who spot gets taken away due to the fact that the person who came in & took it has money/recognition.

    ReplyDelete
  86. KBS banned those who gambled yet this ... smh ..

    ReplyDelete
  87. netizen don't hate on naeun. actually their reaction is similar with all idol/ celebrity that related with army & college entrance. netizens are quite sensitive bout special treatment regarding army& college. either she got special treatment, only naeun, acube & dongguk university know it. the comment bout dongguk & naeun is diff/contra... comment said said she don't take college entrance exam but the other comments said she is repeater, means she take more than once college entrance exam. same with comment like dongguk uni don't do special treatment but other comment said do..

    ReplyDelete
  88. you are not in the correct article, this is about naeun

    ReplyDelete
  89. typical netizen reaction . with their special treatment and all .i always wonder do they have the evidence to back it up ? anyway those who commented on this article are just -
    2. [+1,423, -73] As someone who studied really hard and messed up my college entrance exam, I wish I had been born handsome so that I could be a celebrity ㅠ

depress ppl who think they study soooo hard but somehow didnt managed to do well in their exam (conclusion if u did study hard u wouldnt messed up ur exam , it just said that ur "studyinghard "isnt hard enough period.)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Soju companies should approach him to do a CF.

    ReplyDelete
  91. 4. [+84, -3] Can we please just set up a college for celebrities only

    good idea

    ReplyDelete
  92. ummm wasn't she like pretty high in her class rankings. The girl isn't dumb. She just got a better paying and more time consuming job than most high school kids.

    ReplyDelete
  93. ....one direction LOL

    ReplyDelete
  94. athletes get special treatment at most colleges...and the school pays for private tutors

    ReplyDelete
  95. Don't hate the player hate the game.

    ReplyDelete
  96. G-Soul... the last news i heard about him was that he's enlisting or just enlisted in the army.

    ReplyDelete
  97. the last news I heard about him was that he enlisted/enlisting in the army.

    ReplyDelete
  98. thought she's good in drawing. i liked it if she's in the arts department.

    ReplyDelete
  99. really? when's jay coming back? maybe it'll just be the same like last year, 2pm promoted after jay. but i dunno if i should be happy or not hearing they'll promote at the same time. i just hate the thought of those hateful comments again.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Reading this article, I can't help but think of Kim Soo-Hyun who, I consider, is one of the greatest actors in Korea. Can you believe that he had failed 4 times which means 4 years since the entrance exam happens only 1 time a year before he finally got one spot in acting major in Joong-ang university?
Back then he was a normal student, not a celebrity so he had to go though a hell of competition just like normal korean students. no special treatment whatsoever. And because along with Dong-guk uni, Joong-ang uni is the best of the best when it comes to acting major in korea, so the competition for acting mojor in these two universities is really no joke.. I remember reading his old diary on the internet starting with "I am the 4-time entrance exam retaker Kim Soo-Hyun. these days I'm suffering from insomnia because of all the worries I have. Am I preparing well? Am I allow to sleep? Can I do well this time? these uncertainties and endless thoughts keep me awake...." To think that one great korean student has lost his/her spot because of Naeun makes me really sick.....

    ReplyDelete
  101. She really like to slap her own face with her own words huh.. Media play so much and get the praise yet doing this. Don't she know that it will make it worst? I rather she just accept in the beginning.
But not only for her but other celebrities too, why get into college with this kind of special treatment and never attend school at all or only attend 1 lesson for few months and that it. If they want to learn skill than ATTEND the damn lesson, don't tell me you can learn skill by having your name on the lists in the college but not attending any lesson and still can graduate. Yeah people should not blame others if they mess up themselves but can't you complain? Just like you work so hard and finally get a cert but mess up during interview, you will blame yourself first of course. But after that you know the position you want give to a person that get in through some relation, wont you complain like: how I wish I am a son/daughter of xxx so I can get into the company even if I mess up my interview or I didn't even need to get interview at all.
Do korea college have so called part-time? If they don't maybe they should, celebrities can go for part-time with those special treatment and not taking away a spot from the students who really study.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I wish she can kick all their asses

    ReplyDelete
  103. Everybody is judging him... but what if it was the woman's fault? What was she doing at his house drunk!? When you meet a man for the first time you don't go to his house where you can be alone with him... and drunk... you never know what he can do especially if he had also drank a little. And maybe it's true that is was a trap for her to make some money from this scandal... but if he really raped her then he's a monster who'll do it again and I'm sure that he'll pay for it in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  104. We still don't know what happened. For all we know, she could've been trying to frame the guy. Rape is a serious thing, but some women sleep with men and later accuse them of rape to get money.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Exactly, I really don't understand the rationale behind these actions. I mean..ugh...

    ReplyDelete
  106. how do you all know she got in through special treatment? i've always found naeun to be really smart and hard-working and i'd hoped she would've got in through her own merit. idk i just get the feeling she would work her ass off to get a spot

    ReplyDelete
  107. wow... you seriously dont know how hard it is for a Korean student to get into thecollege that they want to go to.

    ReplyDelete
  108. It's weird that I had this thought about jackson leaving at some point. His personality is SO STRONG and dominating the other members AND his other profession is a freaking gold medalist fencer.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Pretty sure those were revealed to be a ploy with the police in order to get the friend to incriminate himself or PSH.

    ReplyDelete
  110. She didnt even take the college entrance exam...which is the test that allow students to be eligible to apply to colleges. So how in the world did Naeun got accepted to dongguk university??? :/

    ReplyDelete
  111. I thought she got in without the special treatment... Weren't people praising her just a little while back?
But if what the netizens say is really the case, then I think I'd be really upset too if I was one of those hardworking students and didn't get in because of an idol...

    ReplyDelete
  112. She can take part time or something like that. I know afew people who have full time work and are studying in a complete different area just so that they can work in a career they wish to do in the future or currently. It is up to her to work hard or not, same goes with everyone else

Okay, neither you or me know what Naeun wants to do with her life in the future. What happens if she is does not want to pursue a producing or composing career? Or that she is not good at that? That is unless you have the talent etc.. You think that every idol wants to produce and compose...?

    ReplyDelete
  113. carrot♔semi-hiatusFebruary 27, 2014 at 3:59 AM

There isn't any valid link that Naeun/other idols didn't take the exam either. Most universities do this 'special treatment' system but doesn't mean all of them do. I'm just saying it could go both ways.

    ReplyDelete
  114. "What was she doing at his house drunk!?"
he carried her unconscious to his house though, but it's always the women's fault right? /sarcasm

    ReplyDelete
  115. actually it's just 2PM and g.o.d. Wonder girls have been 5 member group always. and I don't think any member of 2AM or miss A would leave the group.

    ReplyDelete
  116. 2PM's debut was not that great either... you can wait.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I wonder how many students committed suicide bc of not being able to get into college ... especially when they took the exams for so many times... no wonder netizens are angry...

    ReplyDelete
  118. and I am waiting to get into college too....missed the 1st round and I applied in round 2

    ReplyDelete
  119. sulli chose to put off her studies so she can focus on her career. she herself has never talked about her plans, so no one knows if she means temporarily or indefinitely.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Aigoo knetz, jealous bitches all over the place

    ReplyDelete
  121. We don't even know if he did sigh, the details never got out.
    Good luck I guess?

    ReplyDelete
  122. He's an amazing actor tbh and we still don't know what really happened so they're basically hating him without knowing who's the victim of that scandal

    ReplyDelete
  123. The fuk, I cant even stay still at 2 hours exam...

    ReplyDelete
  124. Sure, the other person supposedly lost a spot but they can always go to another university. If they have the talent it shouldn't be a problem. Can we, for once, see this from the idol's perspective? Just like the others study hard for years, these kids are trainees for years and have to face so much criticism from the public, crazy fans, online bullying etc. If you really have a problem stop sitting behind your pc screens doing nothing; get up and take action.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I like her voice in the song~

    ReplyDelete
  126. She's gorgeous. I knew she'd be in the new group as soon as I saw her; totally JYP trainee material. Dafuq with the names though? Is JYP that pissed he can't whisper in the songs anymore that he takes his wrath out on the group names? lmao

    ReplyDelete
  127. Dongguk.. isn't / wasn't that tge one TOP attends? ^^;;

Anyways.. not smart to media play how you'll never get into with special treatment but end up doing so... haha. XD

    ReplyDelete
  128. Still don't understand how gambling is a big deal while.... hah.. -.-

    ReplyDelete
  129. Zëçô Al-ShanfariFebruary 27, 2014 at 4:50 AM

    JYJ (-_-)

    ReplyDelete
  130. and some men rape women and get away with it bc ppl have this assumption that it was her fault. sadly more people think its the womens fault than the men's.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Zëçô Al-ShanfariFebruary 27, 2014 at 4:52 AM

Damn JYJ are waiting for 4years

    ReplyDelete
  132. From what I saw of her in Sunmi's "Full Moon" MV, she's quite good. I'm actually kinda looking forwards to her debut

    ReplyDelete
  133. A woman's instinct is always right. I knew he was a creep

    ReplyDelete
  134. I never was into him to start with...its waaaaay to early.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Em, you might want to read up on his scandal, its not gambling. Its alleged rape.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Why is it that idols always choose an acting course? Shouldn't they choose something like music production, dance or something

    ReplyDelete
  137. Good. I hope he continues.

    ReplyDelete
  138. The prosecution dropped all charges so he still can appear on tv. people who got the deferred prosecution agreement like isu (m.c the max) could appear on tv too. Public broadcast stations could ban these got suspended sentence ( tony an) and the drama queen KBS did.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Who's the rapist?

    ReplyDelete

  142. True but on the other hand... idols are already making bank. These students are studying to ultimately MAKE $ while the idols don't truthfully NEED this education the way normal people do. That's what hurts

  144. I think the girl got paid off, but that's just me.

However, at best Park Shi Hoo is someone who took a drunk girl barely able to walk home to fuck. Not really very classy and in some countries not called 'South Korea' can be considering sex without consent if the victim is too inebriated. (of course in the allkpop mystical magical world of rainbow and pots of gold the girl was a slut who pretended to be drunk went home with him specifically to have sex and then blackmail the poor wittle actor)

At worst he took a drunk girl barely able to walk home and raped her and had help with it from a younger friend who was also there and possibly participated.

  151. I... I still like him. He's a great actor.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Idk either but could be because they want to learn more from what they already know doing. They were trained to be idols. Why not study how to be an actress?

    ReplyDelete
  153. I don't really feel the whole "I'm a pink panda--" and such but whatever.
Why not think of possibilities? Like it's obviously possible that some people want to learn more from what they know already as to why maybe that's why they took.up acting cuz cmon they've been training for years to be an idol. It's normal to feel that motivation. It's also wrong to use your image to get in a specific university----

I have no idea where I'm going. I'll just leave it at that.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Yeah I remembered that too.

  155. omg you don't know anything. Read a little more about Korean culture before you comment.
Basically to even skim the middle you'll still be working from dawn to dusk. My entire fams in Korea. I would know. Unless she was a freaking genius which we all know isn't true, theres no way she could have gotten into this university without her connections. Also, class rankings are pretty moot. She didn't take the freaking exam.

  156. are you malaysian ? lol xD

  157. dude...calm down. She worked the system and everyone is butt hurt about it. Jealousy is a cruel bitch but that doesn't change the fact she gets to go to college. Just like athletes get into colleges just because they can play a sport well.

I do know how hard work life is in Korea, but i also know how the system seems to work to get up the ladder. So yeah i can't hate on a girl who is smart and talented and gets to go to a dream school. Which, by the way, knowing something about her personality she is taking very seriously whether or not she had to take an entrance exam.

She got a paying job before leaving high school. A job that could end at any time just because people judge the crap out of her for no other reason than because she's a "celebrity". One slip up and the "public" deems a female idol unworthy of being a celebrity. Turning their backs on her like she's little more than a used tissue.

So i can't hate on a girl who gets her dream job and still gets to go to school. And a future outside of idol life. Connections are how you get places. You don't have to use them if you have them, but that doesn't mean that they don't hurt. How do you think so many actors and singers children enter the business so easily? Connections connections connections. Get over it because if you had connections you'd be using them too. Don't even try to lie to yourself about that. If you could get a leg up and do something you love just because your friend can put in a good word you'd jump at the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  158. yes. either party can't convince me whether it's fact or just invented unless they show valid evidence that the celebrity was there taking the exam.

  159. Agreed. Her voice irritated me a bit.

  165. I understand on the male groups like Shinhwa, Sech Kies, Turbo etc., since rapping gives 'power', but for the females? Well it's not like there's something wrong with it but sometimes the 'rapping' is just to.. like... they force themselves to rap when they're not like rappers like Lena here.

  168. It's his life. Why judge him when lots of men have done that? If you ask me he was set up. Which single man is going to refuse to sleep with a 22 year old if she acts willing? A lot of men would not turn away from something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  169. There's a video where she is seen walking fine. And he said she was a willing and vigorous participant in the sex acts.

She demanded 2 million (or close enough) from him and had already planned what to do with the money. She was going to use it to study English in Australia. She had it all mapped out.

  170. What do they have to forgive him for?

  171. Didn't mean what? Were you there? Are you sure he raped the girl?

  172. Holy. I feel like getting into college was a breeze here in the U.S. Took the SAT, applied, got in with full scholarship without much effort. That's crazy how you have college entrance exams that last more that 6 hours.

    ReplyDelete
  173. Why Na Eun is the /only/ one receiving hate because of this? I totally understand that it is unfair for her to receive special treatment to get into college cuz thousands of other kids out there worked really hard to get in and yet she got in easily BUT why is it that no one's asking why the school GAVE her special treatment? Has no one asked the question why the school accepted her instead of some other student who worked really hard?

At some point, doesn't the school also have some faults?

(Note: I am not defending her. In fact, I'm not a big fan. I'm just wondering why ALL the hate goes to Na Eun. Am I missing something? Like, is the school /forced/ to take her in?)

  174. He's a brave one...good luck to him though. I don't know if he was guilty or not, but it's gonna take a while for this to all get behind him.

  175. Lol I mean that's where slang differs in the USA. I never heard of being tight until I hung out with people from NY. But I understood what it meant immediately. And I'd say some slang from where I'm from, and they'd look at me like I'm crazy. LOL And they'd ask me what it means Lol

  178. Give me Baek Ah Yeon. Her first mini album was great. The second...not so much. Come on JYP. Put her on an OST at least!

Lena's pretty but I'm not a huge fan of her rapping in Sunmi's song; I feel like it didn't mesh with the overall feel and concept of "Full Moon". Her "perfect weather can't get no better" bit always makes me cringe when I hear the song.

  179. LOL this is what he said. Of course he'll say what is better for him. Actually PSH said a lot, used the media in his favor, since he has money and power, he said a lot but never showed the proof he was really innocent.

There is the video showing PSH and his junior carrying the dead drunk girl into his apt. The other video about her walking was before it, so either she drank or they gave her something, makes no sense they would carry her if she wasn't drunk - plus I watched the video, even her head was fallen, like she was passed out.

PSH didn't go to police even when asked, an innocent person doing it is shady, ah, another thing, PSH and his junior themselves said the girl was not good before sex but after ''taking care'' of her during the night, they had sex, PSH and his junior said it is true she wasn't well, and throwing up a lot during the night (this just proves the girl was very drunk and couldn't give consent!), but that she wasn't that drunk to not give consent and have sex. They buried themselves with their statements and tried to use dirty media in their favor, but in the end they never showed the ''concrete proof'' they were innocent, even failed in the lie detector twice while the girl didn't.

Plus if PSH was reallyyyy innocent, he would never accept the girl to go without any punishment for framing him and would never drop this case like he did, in the end something shady and dirty was really going on because he dropped the charges against her, and like this the case didn't go to court, if he was really innocent and did had proof he was innocent like he said he was, he would never let this case without closure because it just hurts his image and does no good, basically he closed it like this because they had proofs against him, and it would be better to drop the charges and buy the girl/threat the girl to shut up, for his own good, then later media play how the girl just wanted money, seeing how he dropped all the charges against the girl that ruined his image, also shows he was guilty and not framed.

    ReplyDelete
  180. he dropped the charges against the girl that ruined his image and ''framed'' him up, why? because he is an angel and let it go? Or because he was indeed guilty and had proof against him? lol it is clear.

    ReplyDelete
  181. but why would PSH drop all the charges against her if she was lying and he had proof he was innocent? He would never, unless he did take advantage of her.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Yup. I loved Princess man but because of him... I can't anymore :(

    ReplyDelete
  183. you know, many girls don't know they were raped until some say so or until they think it over. Some even try to hide it. Or they blame themselves instead of the guy. In korea where there is not much sex ed, it is no wonder.

Plus this is all info PSH and his media play gave, they would always show just a part of it instead of showing it all for PSH favor.

  184. It's easier to learn new things when you are 20-25,when you are 30 it gets harder since at that age people want a family. If they want fame they should assume that,it's not nice to take the spot of someone else, since everyone works hard.
