On December 10, 2013 Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club’s Year-end Awards was held at Plaza Hotel in Seoul. Every year, foreign correspondents residing in Korea select several individuals who have contributed to promoting Korea positively throughout the world.

On this day, approximately 300 correspondents participated in the event and congratulated Crayon Pop and Ryu Hyun Jin for winning the awards in this year. (Yahoo PH)

1. [+360, -126] Looks like Crayon Pop promoting their dance is paying off

2. [+300, -78] There are a lot of deserving artists but I'm a bit surprised to see Crayon Pop chosen. But since it's by the standards of the Seoul Foreign Correspondents' Club and not ours, I don't think we're in any place to be calling it unreasonable...

3. [+280, -80] Well maybe Crayon Pop had that much of an impact on foreign correspondents. No reason to come into an article like this and demand why your favorite idol wasn't chosen.

4. [+354, -205] Reminds me of all those people who called Crayon Pop an embarrassment to the country...

5. [+135, -29] Sometimes I feel like Koreans are the ones bringing Korea down when their own artists get rewarded by foreigners for doing something good overseas and they still find a reason to hate on it..
