Netizens argue over Ailee being deleted from her CFs

Article: Netizens argue over Ailee being deleted from ad pictures 'a fair act vs that's too much'

Source: SBS E! via Nate

1. [+657, -36] You can't really deny that her image was impacted by this...

2. [+648, -52] I don't think it's wrong of the company to delete her off the images. It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway.

3. [+39, -0] If the company feels that their image will be negatively impacted, then they have every right to take her image down.

4. [+34, -1] From the company's standpoint, I can understand why they'd have to.

5. [+33, -4] An obvious response from the company. Whatever the reason, the scandal isn't anything to boast home about.

6. [+30, -0] That company bought Ailee's image. They're not a charity group required to keep her on if it means a loss for them. Her image will have a difficult time recovering.

7. [+22, -25] I don't really care whether Ailee's on it or not... Just because she's on the ad doesn't affect whether I'll eat it more or less.

8. [+19, -0] Even if I were the CF company, I'd delete her as well...

9. [+16, -3] Even Kyochon Chicken's radio CM song.. Ailee used to sing the first part and then with Super Junior later but they her part out and only Super Junior sings now ㅜㅜ

10. [+15, -0] They're a business, they can do whatever they want

  1. but.. the knetz (most of) and many artists are supporting her.. so, what's the deal?!

    ReplyDelete
  2. That's not to say that the company doesn't support her, but they don't want artists that have been in a public scandal. I

magine that you run a chicken restaurant with an idol as the store's image. All of a sudden, he gets caught in a sex scandal, but you decide to keep his poster on your shop. The people that walk by looks at the poster and questions, "Why does that shop have that guy on the front of their shop? He is 100% in the wrong" and because of that, they're not going to come inside.

Not coming inside == no revenue == less money.

For all we know, they might be on Ailee's side, but there are a few people that thinks it's her fault to blame.

  3. "It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway."

As if she knew how big of a dick he was.

I think it's fair for any company to do that.. since the company signed her to promote their products.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Aliee's agency threatened that they will sue anyone shared the nude photos of Ailee in Korea, as well. So now many Korean men who saw the photo got furious, and started to bash on Ailee.

    ReplyDelete
  5. her courage yesterday brought tears to my eyes. and every note she sang, i felt was like a mental knife stab into the eyes of allkpop.

    ReplyDelete
  6. But NB, these netizens aren't arguing... they all agree with each other...

    ReplyDelete
  7. Okay, do "knetz and artists" make-up the majority target demographic of homely advertisements?

    ReplyDelete
  8. it is up to the company, they paid for her image so they can do whatever they want, but it's just unnecessary attention now, or a genius move considering people are talking about them.

    ReplyDelete
  9. all of these comments seem to agree with each other lol

    ReplyDelete
  10. do this please.

    http://news.nate.com/view/20131115n10125?mid=e0102

    ReplyDelete
  11. I don't think it's too much though... even though it's wrong to judge Ailee by her past mistakes, business is still business.. I'm sure somewhere in the contract lies a point where Ailee must not get into any scandal.
Anyway, they owned Ailee's picture in all of those commercials and they can do whatever they want with it..

    ReplyDelete
  12. I don't see much arguing here lol they're all pretty on the same page about this. i can see why the company would do that, but then again seeing how much support ailee is receiving.. i can't? also "It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway." i cant with this one omg

    ReplyDelete
  13. Aliee's agency threatened that they would sue anyone shared the nude photos of Ailee in Korea, as well. So now many Korean men who saw the photos got super furious, and started giving her the cold shoulder

    ReplyDelete
  14. I agree with the knetz they're a business and they need to think about themselves first

    ReplyDelete
  15. sssh just be glad theres no witch hunt going on, we've come this far...

    ReplyDelete
  16. [+648, -52] I don't think it's wrong of the company to delete her off the images. It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway.

the sarcasm....or better yet I am just going to act like this is a sarcastic comment

    ReplyDelete
  17. I support Ailee and she's a brave girl and all but CF is all about image. Image is a huge deal to these companies. That's why CF stars like Suzy have to be so damn careful one wrong move one mis step and all these CFs I can understand why they would do delete Ailee. T-ara pretty much lost all there endorsement deals last year and half of the their bullying scandal was based on speculation not hard core evidence.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I don't think giving her the cold shoulders is the case here. Plus, what does that have to do with my comment?

    ReplyDelete
  19. By netizens, the journalist meant netizens in some online forum he/she usually visits.

    ReplyDelete
  20. That chicken look good tho....

    ReplyDelete
  21. "That company bought Ailee's image. They're not a charity group required to keep her on if it means a loss for them. Her image will have a difficult time recovering."

I am sorry but I kind of agree with this. The company that bought her image has every right to do so.

    ReplyDelete
  22. On a side note, Miss NB is on the roll nowadays. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  23. It's fair, but it's cruel.

    ReplyDelete
  24. There's nothing that can be done about the company's decision to omit Ailee from the ads, since it's most probably part of the contract deal: an endorser's scandal-free name, for the duration of the contract, at least. On the other hand, Ailee still gets the love of her fans and the support of majority. If anyone's getting burned by now, that is AKP and also her ex.

    ReplyDelete
  25. 2. [+648, -52] I don't think it's wrong of the company to delete her off the images. It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway.

    lol fuck you

    ReplyDelete
  26. poor her .. this is the first year of her to become ambassador of kyochon ..

    ReplyDelete
  27. this is very understandable

    ReplyDelete
  28. They got a lot of people on reddit Kpop and Tumblr to sue. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  29. What the fuck, its not like Ailee become a porn star. Its really unfair for her, its a private photos afterall, but just the boyfriend is the only one asshole here and the number 1 troll site, allfuckingkpop.

    ReplyDelete
  30. like AKP writters said Ailee's career will be over soon.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Because if her agency didn't do that, that comment wouldn't have had so many upvotes. Ailee's news are now starting to fill up with hurtful comments by angry Korean men.

    ReplyDelete
  32. i wonder if this is what the company was thinking... 'oh, ailee put out nude pics, so anyone who sees our CFs must think that if they eat our chicken, they'll be putting out nudes too.'

    ReplyDelete
  33. She had no career to begin with. And seeing how Ms. Baek survived in the industry, it's not impossible for her to recover.

    ReplyDelete
  34. not my problem, I'm just passing by

    ReplyDelete
  35. I understand why. Big scandals can leave negative impacts.

    ReplyDelete
  36. well from a consumer standpoint (in my case!), i would still eat/use those products even if it was ailee or any other celebrities unless it's a rare case lol

    ReplyDelete
  37. lol the comments you see here are to an article called "Netizens arguing over ailee ..."

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ailee is a victim and all, but I don't understand why she is praised to the level of a "brave" girl. She didn't save a country or something.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Good thing is she is a talented singer, and famous for being a singer.
    I hope she'll recover soon.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The company hired her so they're her boss. They have a right to pull out when they want to. They probably feel there's a chance of revenue loss if they keep her.
Sure everyone's supporting ailee now but don't count the eggs before they hatch. Something bad could occur from this scandal and make everyone turn on her. The company is just taking extra caution for their business.

    ReplyDelete
  41. [+22, -25] I don't really care whether Ailee's on it or not... Just because she's on the ad doesn't affect whether I'll eat it more or less.

omg this is me. if the product is crap, im not going to buy and ill still not buy it just because my fav celeb is on it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. They're angry cause they can't circle jerk over the picture? What are they 12?

    ReplyDelete
  43. 7. [+22, -25] I don't really care whether Ailee's on it or not... Just because she's on the ad doesn't affect whether I'll eat it more or less.

this is how I am with food.. It's nice that a celeb is on the front..but food is still food.. It's either good or not :P

    ReplyDelete
  44. NB sarcasm with the TITLE hehe

    ReplyDelete
  45. i am working in an advertising agency for years, so i understand this completely as much as i am a fan of Ailee.

When an artist signed an endorsement deal, they usually have this kind of clause; if the artist involve in a scandal, the company allow to remove it from any promotional materials, and even in some contracts, it often stated that the artist should pay all production costs in which he/she appeared on, as it taken that he/she damaging the brand's image. hopefully, it won't be the case in Ailee tho.

A brand ambassador is a representative of the brand, hence the title itself. although Ailee is not at fault, the brand will be associated with the scandal nonetheless every time their ad airs. the message of the product or brand itself will be overshadow by the scandal, and you just didn't want that, in a company stand point, they have to sell their products and deliver a message on how they want to be portrayed.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Usually when celebrities sign CF contracts, one of the terms of agreement is to keep a good image or else they can sue for money loss or in this case delete her off their advertisements, same thing applies to everyone (ex. Hyosung). It's business, it may be cruel but it is what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Where is the argument actually?

    ReplyDelete
  48. We all know singing is not a career than can last forever.
    Good time to quit now.

    ReplyDelete
  49. In Korea, though, every singer is forced to perform on stage regardless of how mentally drained they are. There were many sunbae singers who sang on stage on the day their family died.

    ReplyDelete
  50. She's facing the crowd instead of hiding away like some idols after a controversy

    ReplyDelete
  51. OMG! I LOVE KYO CHON CHICKEN!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. [+22, -25] I don't really care whether Ailee's on it or not... Just because she's on the ad doesn't affect whether I'll eat it more or less.

    YES

    ReplyDelete
  53. In Korea, singers / idols don't get to choose whether or not to perform after a controversy. If there were idols who hid after a controversy, then it was probably because their agency thought that was the better movement for their idol's image.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I can understand- agencies use celebs image to promote products and even though ailee's scandal was very heavily influenced by her ex-bf, the advertising company has the right to not use her image.

    ReplyDelete
  55. She had her whole entire body exposed for the world to see yet she was brave enough to go out and sing and sing her heart out that takes bravery she could have just hide in a hole for a year like IU did right after her scandal but Ailee not only attended she sung her heart out not missing a beat. I can't even imagine staring at those thousands of people who have prob seen you naked and still sing as if nothing happened.

    ReplyDelete
  56. True but some fans buy the stuff their idols promote, regardless.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I'm 50/50 on this
I can understand why they'd remove her (i mean, they live in an image conscious society) but then again it's a bit cruel.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I thought the title was supposed to be sarcastic.

    ReplyDelete
  59. You would too be angry if you were sued for seeing Scarlett Johansson's nude photos or something.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Your name...it matches you so

    ReplyDelete
  61. Seeing the pictures is not the same as sharing it or spreading it further. I saw Ailee's pictures but I didn't share or spread it further.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I just hope this thing blows over quickly without too much damage..sigh..
I don't know if its good or a bad this scandal happened this early in her career

    ReplyDelete
  63. Like I said before, unless you're big like Lee Seung Chul, idols and newbie singers don't get to choose that in Korea. And I'm pretty sure IU did perfrom after the whole twitter thing. But people got madder, saying that she was acting like nothing ever happened. So Loen had to put IU out of spotlight for a while.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I understand why they're doing it, but I'm unhappy about it because Ailee really didn't deserve this to happen to her.

It's not personal, in any case. The state of Korea's economy doesn't really leave any room for chance. They're just playing it safe.

Once this is all cleared up and in the past, Ailee will be able to be in CFs and such again. ^_^

    Stay strong, Ailee!! <3

    ReplyDelete
  65. do you have any idea what the full article says?

    ReplyDelete
  66. plot twist "Trojan Condoms still hold her to her contract."

    ReplyDelete
  67. Yea I agree. I'm just glad that most netizens are looking at it practically like we are and not just leaving terribly cruel comments about her. Luckily she's talented and has that to fall back. It'll just be a long road here on out.

    ReplyDelete
  68. "She had no career to begin with"...?

    http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww258/HellFallenAngel/Gifs/dafuq.gif

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm glad people are actually second guessing the company's decision and not signing petitions, threatening to boycott the company to get her pics removed.
Gives me a glimmer of hope that this will blow over soon and not cause permenant damage

    ReplyDelete
  70. Then you shouldn't act so noble. What you did is also disgusting.

    ReplyDelete
  71. You said that Ailee's company is suing people who are sharing the pictures. Seeing the pictures ≠ Sharing them, just sayin'.

    ReplyDelete
  72. It's the company's right to delete hers. Their paying hers anyway but the reputation and image comes first.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Is that a real question? or are you being sarcastic?

    ReplyDelete
  74. 2. [+648, -52] I don't think it's wrong of the company to delete her off the images. It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway.

Um don't blame a young girl for "dating the wrong man" for what HE did to her. Honestly, who hasn't sent naked pictures to their boyfriend/girlfriend? It's pretty normal for couples to do these kinds of things. That doesn't give that person the right to then go and sell/publish the photos for everyone to see.

    ReplyDelete
  75. no i am being serious

    ReplyDelete
  76. They all seem pretty chill

    ReplyDelete
  77. By the way, if I was the company I'd KEEP her image. This scandal is HUGE news, and even better is that most people have sided with Ailee. If anything, this scandal will only promote the product more because more people will notice Ailee in general, which will then cause them to notice the product. The company is only hurting themselves by removing her image. It's not Ailee's had a scandal as bad as Nickhun or T-ara.

    ReplyDelete
  78. He/she's trolling.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I mean compared to Busker Busker or Huh Gak, her career was pretty much nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  80. This is nothing but bad of course. Ailee is the sole victim here... Most of us knew the story and how badly Ailee was wronged but those pictures are already out there and then more and more people will see it and I doubt they'll be as informed as we are regarding the situation. This is sad but Ailee's image is badly stained due to this whole thing.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yup, new troll sent from that other site.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Which full article? My English skills aren't that good so I can't translate the whole article for you though.

    ReplyDelete
  83. this http://news.nate.com/view/20131114n32127

    ReplyDelete
  84. wasn't really trolling, but seeing your comment makes me want to. Might as well log in with my troll account

    ReplyDelete
  85. And Kyochon honey chicken is to die for.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I opened up an article about the initial news and Im disgusting? How irrational are you? I would be disgusting if I did something to harm someome else but not cause I saw her censored pictures. I never claimed to noble, dont misinterpret what I said. Also by telling people where they are is called sharing the information, so I stick to my argument if they are mad because they can't fap over the pictures.

    ReplyDelete
  87. i didnt. maybe because i am not a whore like ailee

    ReplyDelete
  88. true but imo that's sad. however thanks to some idols ive found some great brands that i really like

    ReplyDelete
  89. Its an AKP writer.

    ReplyDelete
  90. How is somebody sending personal photos to their BOYFRIEND being a whore? You act like she sent these pictures to random strangers...

You sound like you need to get laid.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I can see why the company would do that. Even though pretty much everyone is on her side in this, we don't know how their general consumers are going to react. Maybe they did it before a petition can through to remove her. I support Ailee 100%, but I am not mad at the company for doing this. It happens.

    ReplyDelete
  92. it was about time. sick and tired of seeing only support for ailee, nice to know that her image did take a hit and hopefully she continues to flop

    ReplyDelete
  93. Well, aren't you an unhappy person? Made an account just to comment on this? Suspicious..

    ReplyDelete
  94. Basically it's saying that her agency is now discussing with the Korean police how they can stop Ailee's pictures from spreading in Korea and legally punish those who posted, emailed, shared the photos. In Korea it's legally possible to sue those people even though they are not the ones who posted the pics originally. I think their agency is bluffing though.

    ReplyDelete
  95. i am doing fine in that department. i however do not send nude pics to people even if my boyfriend. i have some brains unlike ailee

    ReplyDelete
  96. Haha...exactly what I was wondering ^^

    ReplyDelete
  97. Don't want to be rude.. but I just want to point at your username and tell you. "Screwyou"! please go troll on AKP or something

    ReplyDelete
  98. Okay. Chill down. You didn't say "censored"Anyway, the pictures were already spread everywhere. They are mad because they can't undone what they already did.

    ReplyDelete
  99. never had it b4.. but I'll take you word for it :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. It's the time of the year again. The awarding season!

CONGRATULATIONS FOR BEING THE 'TROLL' OF THE YEAR! :3

    ReplyDelete
  101. You must be a total bore in the bedroom then. *Starfish alert*

    ReplyDelete
  102. Yea I can understand that, and sorry I just didn't like how you interpreted what wrote. Thanks for the summary of the article below!

    ReplyDelete
  103. Well they have every reason to remove her (temporarily or permanently) as the reason for celebrities being used is to POSITIVELY affect the image of a product. Ailee's image is not great right now so it would negatively affect the product no matter how you look at it, so the company did the right thing from a business standpoint.
This happened with Hyosung before but she was eventually put back on the product she was endorsing. Give Ailee some time and she'll be fine.

    ReplyDelete
  104. It's the best. *thumbs up*

    ReplyDelete
  105. I love your profile picture. That's all.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Thanks. It's meant to creep people out and it usually works.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I use this to creep trolls. Good luck to us.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Korea is so backwards at times.. Brb.. IU picture scandal she gets criticized to death, Sulli Dating scandal Criticized to death, Ailee scandal mostly positive though.. I don't understand..

    ReplyDelete
  109. it's late, i read the second sentence wrongly and was sorely confused as to what you were arguing lol

    ReplyDelete
  110. irrc IU hosted some gayo award several days after the sns scandal but that made k-nets more angry and they all said she is a brazen little bxxch to appear like nothin happened or similar things.

    ReplyDelete
  111. yeah i won't lie, i never really understood the whole idols on food thing if it's bad i won't eat it for the idol who doesn't eat it either lol

    ReplyDelete
  112. but why eunhyuk still in that company? kyochon i mean..he involved in scandal too.. before ppl downvotes me, let me tell you i'm asking this out of curiousity, nothing against eunhyuk since i adore him.

    ReplyDelete
  113. The company would have hired her to be want to be liked by the consumer is the target layer of this product or service .

Then , by deleting the photo of her to be able to be called the victim of the scandal this time , I do not know whether that is acceptable to the consumer really .

Real business is to act in thinking that way .

    ReplyDelete
  114. Just keep sponsoring the whore

    ReplyDelete
  115. Must be, since I didn't reply to you haha

    ReplyDelete
  116. stans, knetz and artists are a VERY small portion of the general public.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Dude reading that gave me an Headache..

    ReplyDelete
  118. How did you find out I've been sponsoring her??

    ReplyDelete
  119. It's saying that since Ailee's agency showed that it's possible to sue Allkpop through American law firms, now a lot of Korean press are thinking of suing Allkpop for infringing copyrights.

    ReplyDelete
  120. funny fact in my country.

a vocalist of band had been caught filming his sex event with some actress, including his own girlfriend for personal use. someone who hate him stole the videos and spread it online. being my country, conservative as hell and definitely misguided, arrested the vocalist and the culprit, interrogated them, charging the one who spread the videos with light sentences, but kick the vocalist (aka the supposedly to be victim) into the jail for 3 years with charged of pornography. years later after he become free man, his popularity isn't affected, even he become more popular than before the incident with many Cfs deals and they (he and his band) just filmed for a movie (dunno what movie tho, not really care).

i still find these stories amusing tbh, .

    ReplyDelete
  121. totally noticed you both for creeping me out :D

    ReplyDelete
  122. Sucks that it has to be this way but even so I do wish her the best. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

    ReplyDelete
  123. IU sells the sweet innocent girl-next door type who is a pure, fair virgin maiden in need of prince charming. Of course when the "prince charming" turns out to be Eunhyuk, that illusion shatters into a billion pieces

Sulli is also one the sweet, innocent, sweetheart whose nickname "giant baby" can be taken almost literally, too literal in fact.
Ailee never had that virgin, sweet, innocent image placed upon her at the start and she never attempted to use that sort of image

    ReplyDelete
  124. funny thing is now allkpop delete all comments were people protect ailee and make funny of allkpop (they use words that this comment come form spammer lol ) and what more funny is they were saying that they are news portal so they public ailee nude photos but when dispatch show tape with ailee ex who wanna sell pictures allkpop is quiet about this... They must be really scared right now ;]

    ReplyDelete

    Yup. xD

Anyways, she was 'just' exposed.. it's not like she did something bad like... idk DUI or drugs or whatever.. but well.. Korea. :'3

    ReplyDelete
  127. You're pathetic is the least I can say

    ReplyDelete
  128. Let me summarize it for you... Koreans really don't give a F about it because she is from America.. If this happened to any Korean born Idol, their career would be a wrap.. Innocent Image or not..

    ReplyDelete
  129. IU hosted gayo award but still get bash about it.. Ailee is lucky enough to get netz support this time and don't compare IU and Ailee cause its different case also both of them make a mistake.. learn it and move on!!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Umm... I don't know how you would feel after thousands of people would have seen you naked without consent but pretty sure most girls would hate to face people after that and it hasn't even been that long since the scandal broke out.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I think it's unfair. She worked hard to model for them and they're basically acting like she never showed up to take the photos.

    ReplyDelete
  132. it is their site they can delete whatever comments they want. comments here get deleted at times too. it happens on many sites

    ReplyDelete
  133. I know business is business but I don't think it will affect the cf companies.. I mean knetizens are supporting her, it doesn't really have a back flash for her case right.?

    ReplyDelete
  134. I'm not sure, but most likely because the public perceive that IU is the one who made the mistake, and the endorsement was on Super junior's name not Eunhyuk personally. And truthfully, that case is quite different rather than Ailee's, they didn't actually do anything isn't? Just sitting on the sofa. The damage control still on some level were easier. Because from my experience, eventho its necessary, removing an endorser for any reasons was not an easy cause. Because the artist's image will remain forever, eventho he/she already terminated the contract. That's why to choose or change an endorser need a lengthy process, i was once have to do months of research just to decide on this matter. It's just that important. Hence, i believe if its not urgently require to do so, company won't hastily terminate an endorsement deal with a celebrity.

  140. It makes good business sense. Families go and eat that chicken. You don't want to be associated with something sleazy like that.

    ReplyDelete
  141. How do you know all the Koreans support her? Just because some two dozen people comment and get a couple of hundred upvotes on some site is not the same thing as "knetizens are supporting her". Get it?

    ReplyDelete
  142. 7. [+22, -25] I don't really care whether Ailee's on it or not... Just
because she's on the ad doesn't affect whether I'll eat it more or less.

    LOL

    ReplyDelete
  143. Well, I'd still eat the chicken!

    ReplyDelete
  144. this is actually true. IU-Eunhyuk scandal is based on assumptions of the faces and intimacy of that picture portray. the picture itself can still be argue on it.
this is also one of the reason why Mexicana Chicken, IU's endorsement didnt took any action on IU including her The Saem's cosmetic endorsement as well.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Well, I knew Ailee months before I heard about Busker2 & Huh Gak.

    ReplyDelete
  146. nope! check the digital and fan votes

    ReplyDelete
  147. so what?? experienced singers are not supposed to win whenever they are nominated!! if it was like that then how can rookie bands shine??

    ReplyDelete
  148. k-netizens are maybe supporting her but it doesn't mean that K-citizens will ! i would like people to realize that k-netizens are absolutely not the voices of the korean society. It's like saying that we are the representative of our countries's opinions.
South-Korea's population is made of 50 millions of people and most of them have a very conservative way to think, and most important they don't give a shit about Kpop and don't even know who are the different groups of Kpop. If somebody tells them "this girl had naked photos released lateky" they would probably just say that she is a shame, slut and whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  149. It's not only "Korea", it's lots of people in general. A lot of i-netizens here say that they don't see anything wrong with her except she's eccentric, or they say she's trolling, trying to seek attention, and that she only "needs someone to talk to" and we shouldn't call her crazy because it's not politically correct and saying she's mentally ill might hurt her feelings if she ever reads this ...

Why do you say "Korea" like everyone in Korea is dismissive of or ignorant about mental illness?

    ReplyDelete
  150. Exactly. I've seen more blatant cases of plagiarism but the fans shield them because the singers are idols.

In this case, "I got C" that Primary wrote wasn't sung by an idol so no shielding.

I'm glad Primary came out and admitted it. He could have hidden behind the "C and Bflats are different because of A minor chords and D major # harmony ..." explanation like a few have in the recent past, but he didn't.

That said, I agree with the composer who was plagiarized. Primary is talented. The copy he made sounds better than the original material he copied.

    ReplyDelete
  151. But then again, it still might be a good precaution to take for them. If the scandal was to take an unexpected turn and it reflected negatively on Ailee, netizens and costumers could change their mind when it comes to supporting her. That could mean less business for them.

  153. Never said they didn't work hard, but SHINee pulled out all the stops. They released a shit ton of music this year. 2 full Korean albums, a repackage, a mini album and pretty consistent promotions from the beginning of the year to the end. That's along with promoting a full length Japanese album (not that it really counts for this award, but it's still impressive).

I'm not trying to disregard other artists, GD and Cho Yong Pil actually released some of my favourite music of the year. But personally, i'm so proud of what SHINee achieved this year. Astonished actually. I don't understand why so many people actually have a problem with them getting this award...

    ReplyDelete
  154. They still sell Music from past shows and that accumulates profit which in the long term > any short term profit made for the 2-3 weeks they were selling the song unfortunately.

    ReplyDelete
  155. lol seriously what is it that some people in here don't understand? you won't care how talented she is or how much back-up she got during the scandal but you can't ignore that every time you'll see her face it will be "the girl who took nudes" or those tho don't know her will look her up and see those pictures. What company would want that on their products.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Did I say that other idols don't work hard? No. I said that SHINee worked hard. Not that they worked harder than everyone else. That's not something that can really be measured/compared anyway.

Regardless of whether SHINee are under a big agency, I still find it impressive that they released the sheer amount of music that they did this year. I said the same thing last year about B.A.P, they weren't my favourite debut last year, but I still voted for them in the awards because I realise how hard it is to promote so consistently.
I personally feel like they deserve this because it's rare that a group will release the amount of music they did and keep a high standard throughout. I liked every song they released this year. It's just an opinion, and that's why I feel like they deserved this award.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Its a business it makes sense as to why this happened. I'm sure they have certain things in their contract they could care less about the idols. Its money and a business they run for chicken, not a music company.

    ReplyDelete
  158. If you think like that that means every group out there are bullies because there is no evidence they are no bullies.
And my main point of that argument was to show that majority used to think a lot of shit, but ended up being wrong. This was the biggest example I could think of at the top of my head. It's like religion. We have no proof god exists, but we have no proof god doesn't exist either.

  159. I totally fell in love Amanda Bynes in the movie She's the man. She was so talented, pretty and so sweet. I watch almost every movie of hers, then she said she's gonna take a break or not even act anymore i was quite disapointed, but then awhile later i totally forgot about her just a few days ago i saw a picture she posted on twitter. I was so shock my mind was thinking what the hell happen to that fun and loving girl? now i know why...
I really don't want that to happen to Ahreum's, its really sad :(

  160. I.M.NOT.1 Comeback StageNovember 15, 2013 at 6:58 AM

They should just make Primary pay the original composer out of his own pocket and then slap a sticker on CDs revising the credits. Online throw in a disclaimer and call it a day. At first it seemed like the original composer was willing to talk to Primary, but maybe he's too pissed off now.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I'm basically already laughing at everyone that is arguing over who won what - who didn't win what. This is pretty entertaining.

    ReplyDelete
  162. it's not even an argument, almost all of them agree with the company ...actually, it is fair enough, artists in negative scandals usually have to go through that !

    ReplyDelete
  163. Did I say ALL koreans or ALL knetizens? I only say knetizens. Get it?

    ReplyDelete
  164. What's that supposed to mean? One knetizen? Ten knetizens? Of course you meant all of them support her because you wrote that it wouldn't have a backlash on her.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I am a fan of Ailee.
The company delete the her photo , there is a case in which the impression of the company is rather bad .
I just wanted to say so .

    ReplyDelete
  166. Showing your face after a whole nation and even international population saw you naked is a big thing... Have you ever dreamed about going to school naked? Well imagine feeling that and going out with your head up high. Kinda brave of her don't you think so?

    ReplyDelete
  167. one doesn`t simply put bully in jail, and atleast i can hope they get bullied from someone stronger.
and what you suggest?let bully walk like nothing happen??shielding bully just make you look worse

  168. You can send nudes to your boyfriend and still be more than a vajayjay, lol. It has anything to do with being a sex object

  170. Over a year of explanations and I'm really not interested in regurgitating any of it. Feel free to look up but if you're not willing to then I highly doubt you would listen to anything their fans say. Just know that if you aren't willing, then its not exactly fair for you to judge T-ara given that you've only heard one side of things. If you do then you would know that there has been an explanation for everything (Especially the rice cake thing).

    ReplyDelete
  171. IU uploaded a picture of an intimate moment & fans from both sides got mad. Ailee posted pictures that were ment to be private & someone violated that right... Do you guys really not see the difference?

    ReplyDelete
  172. a lot of people say that CCM tends to scout the iljin girls too, which maybe why they don't really care about the reputation of the company

    im not so sure tho

    ReplyDelete
  173. Im guessing IU knew what it was like,

    ReplyDelete
  174. Can you tell me what he's written on twitter? I've heard these rumors B4.

    ReplyDelete
  175. As for the tweets, fair enough they could have done things better and they had no right to force Hwa Young to perform injured; but they have all performed injured as well so they only asked for the same level of commitment from their team mate that they have given before. Disappointment was theirs to feel and whilst we outsiders can judge their means of dealing with it, we have no right to judge their emotions on level of commitment.

  176. Idol soloists are not always more respected it is just that there are technically less soloists than there are groups.

    ReplyDelete
  177. No, her's was more "severe" since it was a sex tape.

  178. 1. [+80, -18] Find strength. Your fans still believe in you!

    Aileen forever!<3

  180. No attendance = No Award

    Remember?

    ReplyDelete
  181. i would rather EXO over Shinee win the award, because they're more relevant in 2013.However, there are other singers and songs that are widely successful as well, such as Cho Young Pil with Bounce.

But whatever is done deal, it's a done deal. I'm just curious how much further SM going to push Shinee for the rest of the award season.

    ReplyDelete
  182. NB unnie, can you post about Yoo Jae Suk involved in light traffic accident please?

    ReplyDelete
  183. When was the last time you saw netizens hating on a soloist for no good reason like they hate on every single idol group?

    ReplyDelete
  184. There aren't that prominent idol soloists to begin with because they aren't as profitable as groups. The first one that springs to mind is KHJ though.

    ReplyDelete
  185. Tbh...I only knew busker busker existed last year when they busker buskerd exo...lol...thats how many ppl know them tbh lol..

    ReplyDelete
  186. You're right, it's just that, from my experience as a Kpop fan, most netizens are really quick to judge and hate on a group even though everything they know is that they're idols. As I said up there, try to imagine if Goo Hara was to get in a scandal like that in stead of Ailee. I seriously doubt netizens would be that forgiving. Which is really sad.

    ReplyDelete
  187. I guess its predictable since its an advertising, image is everything for a brand ambassador..Even now, I dont think any advertising company want to hire t-trash, lol

    ReplyDelete
  188. quality =/= quantity

    ReplyDelete
  189. What do you mean? They don't say they bullied her, and it's alright because they're sorry now. They said they had a disagreement with her, or didn't get along, mistakenly took it to twitter, and the netizen reaction spun out of control. And that they are sorry about it all.

Nothing in this implies bullying. Sometimes people don't get along with each other, without any unethical actions involved.

It seems to me you're again intent on interpreting it in the worst way for T-ara.

    ReplyDelete
  190. I agree with one comment, If i'm going to eat chicken who cares if Ailee is on the ad or not

    ReplyDelete
  191. That was taken out of context. It was part of a batsu game on Japanese TV, and of course netizens didn't point out the fact that Jiyeon was also stuffed with a rice cake a few minutes earlier on the very same broadcast.

    http://hyotheleader.tumblr.com/post/28526369765/rumor-vs-fact-t-aras-bullying-case-evidence-4

People never took that as bullying (which it obviously wasn't!) until they started cherrypicking evidence after the tweets.

"Eunjung cleared the issue by saying "We had to do that as it was the policy of the game". She continued with "The loser team had to suffer by eating a food in a humorous way. We thought that it was a great penalty. We were also told that we had to show a horrid look while feeding the loser." and Jiyeon said that the PD told them to exaggerate it to become funnier."

    ReplyDelete
  192. well she is not any different from other idols who have been in a scandal
IU, T-ara to name a few
so why do u expect that she shall be treated differently ? >.>
