Yoseob earns a million respect points

Article: 'Happy Together 3' Yang Yoseob spotted wearing a comfort women awareness bracelet, interest causes organization site to crash

Source: E-News via Nate

1. [+3,127, -93] Not a fan but Yang Yoseob's amazing...

2. [+2,661, -39] He was able to earn attention to the cause and bring in the interest of young fans who probably never cared about comfort women awareness.

3. [+2,411, -66] Yoseob's always been known to purchase and read history books on his own time. He even put up a picture on Instagram of how to draw the Taegeukgi (Korean flag) properly for his fans... He seems like a thoughtful person. I never knew that such a bracelet existed and I'm embarrassed. Yoseob and B2ST, amazing!! Please don't change your current attitude and heart...

4. [+1,824, -35] I'm not a B2ST fan but this is great ㅎㅎ

5. [+1,591, -19] I'm 100% for promoting such causes

6. [+1,430, -25] Not only is he a great singer but has a big heart as well.. Do well ^^

7. [+1,326, -21] Never knew these bracelets existed.. I should buy one for myself ㅠㅠ

8. [+1,240, -15] I've always had a negative perception of idols so I'm surprised to see a young man with brains like him.. I hope that he inspires more young teens to take an interest in our history.

Article: Yang Yoseob teaching fans how to draw the Taegeukgi earns attention

Source: Sports Seoul via Nate

1. [+821, -20] Thank you for making me reflect on myself... and I love that he came up with this idea ㅋ

2. [+797, -23] Media play or not, this deserves praise~ Idols have a lot more influence on young fans than most teachers these days so I'm sure they'll follow along and learn~~ I also read his article about the bracelet, I'm really proud of what he's doing. I really hated idols... but I'm starting to see a few respectable ones~

3. [+680, -50] To all the people crying about media play, Yoseob oppa uploaded this on his SNS before journalists picked it up and released it as articles. Instead of viewing this negatively, please see B2ST as respectable and caring idols in a positive light.

4. [+50, -1] A good example of an idol using SNS the right away

5. [+44, -1] He even quizzes his fans on Korean history ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

hey can you post of that most koreans (the half of total population) think nuclear power plants are better than solar power, wind power energy???? please. save south korea.

  9. It's something small but it's not seen very often from idols and that's why I respect him a lot because he brought a lot of interest and awareness to the site.

    ReplyDelete
  10. All he has to do now is stay scandal free and he's set for the rest of his career :)

  11. girls being shipped off to war for the soldiers' "comfort". aka sex slaves

    ReplyDelete
  12. "comfort women" were women forced to do sexual favors for japanese soldiers during japanese occupation of korea, at least from how i understand it.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wow the number of comments (+3000) is amazing. Yoseob really has a good image in Korea

  14. Mediaplay or not. But this is great! I am not a big B2ST fan, but they really got my respect.

Now take care and don't do anything wrong. n_n

  16. From wikipedia: Comfort women are women and girls forced into a prostitution. This was and maybe still is quite prevalent in the military for the soldiers.

beast really knows how to take care of their image...
i think dongwoon also knows a lot about history... i remembered him on one radio interview saying that once he has a family what he wants to do with his children is to teach them about korean history since the youth don't know much about it anymore... well, his father is a history professor... not surprising...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lol.I refuse to believe that people are that ignorant.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yoseob is really nice T_T He is one of rare idol who can guide fans well and he does love his fans so much.

I really respect him so much ...

    ReplyDelete
  25. "Yoseob, KiKwang, and DongWoon came out on “Happy Together" and they all wore bracelets that support different organization. The one Yoseob wore is by an organization called “HeeUm" for awareness and support of comfort women and their families (comfort women were girls and women who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japanese Empire during Word War II). Yoseob has been wearing his for a long time, maybe 6 months or longer, but it wasn’t until today that some eagle-eyed netizens realized what kind of bracelet it was. KiKwang and DongWoon both wore bracelets for organization “Be Connect" which helps children in poverty. KiKwang wears a mint color because he helping children in Kenya and DongWoon wore a darker blue color because he is helping children in Tanzania. Netizens are impressed with Beast because idol groups have significant influence among younger demographics and their supporting great things also inspires other to do so as well. The website for HeeUm shut down because so many people flooded their site wanting to buy the bracelet. When idols can wear fancy jewelry where ever they go, Beast wears bracelets in support of great organizations :) Proud B2uty~

Naver #1 search word: HeeUm, #2 Comfort Women Bracelet

  26. And that's why I love Yoseob. He educates his fans and has such a kind heart. But holy shit, those number of up votes O__O Dongwoon and Gi Kwang wore similar bracelets too, except theirs were for a different cause. I think it was Poverty amongst children.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I really respect Yoseob. He's not only a great singer but he's so thoughtful about everyone around him as well. I don't even understand how anyone can hate him. He always disciplines fans for their wrongdoings (& he nags like my mother but that's ok lol). Honestly, how many idols can do that? Most K-pop idols would never do such things in fear of angering their fanbase, yet Yoseob openly scolded their them on many occasions.

  28. For those who may not know who comfort women are:Comfort women were women and girls forced into a prostitution corps created by the Empire of Japan during World War II. According to testimony, young women from countries under Japanese Imperial control were abducted from their homes. In many cases, women were also lured with promises of work in factories or restaurants. Once recruited, the women were incarcerated in "comfort stations" in foreign lands. Cre:wiki. There’re a lot of Korean comform women when Korean was under Japan’ rule

  32. very nice dude

    ReplyDelete
  33. wow that's so cool of him. :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Good for him, esp since in another article, the knetz were annoyed that younglings didn't know enough Korean History. Spread the history feels and buff it out.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Whut? God save Korea and I'm agnostic.
(Maybe in terms of reliability or smth because it's more developed than the other two? I cant even just no)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Wow.. just wow. I didn't even think that much of him as an idol, tbh he seemed pretty average overall (but I don't pay much attention to b2st) this is a big deal, he has all my respect. We need more idols like him, then there wouldn't be so many silly scandals with random parephenalia (that is not how you spell it lawd) from imperial japan (how do they even get that much stuff near unknowing idols?)

    ReplyDelete
  37. SO proud to be a Yoseob and Beast fan. especially yoseob, i mean he's talented, respectful, and he's even getting more and more handsome these days.. ugh, ily bb ok stay perf forever (':

  38. 8. [+1,240, -15] I've always had a negative perception of idols so I'm surprised to see a young man with brains like him.. I hope that he inspires more young teens to take an interest in our history.

So don't generalize all of idols from the begining before you know them by your self. There are another idols with brains too. But because the ones without brains made stupid mistakes, it doesn't mean you can jump to conclusion "all of idols/young celebrities brainless".

    ReplyDelete
  39. it's also a sensitive topic because the japanese officials still havent even apologized for it. they dont even acknowledge that it happened, or they say that the women WANTED to do that stuff... there are still women that were forced into that that are alive, but they got no justice, not even an apology...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yoseob is indeed a thoughtful person. Here is another example where yoseob told B2utys to pick up their trashes after idol championship...^^

  42. I'm not hating on Taeyeon, but I don't understand, how Taeyeon got more news and likes on IG than Yoseobie on IG. He at least takes more meaningful pictures than her picture of dog or singing about things.

  43. sex slaves for japanese soldiers, some are still alive and trying to clear their name but the japanese goverment isn't helping ("comfort women were a necessity" or "they were prostitutes") =/

    ReplyDelete
  44. what do you want the comments to say? "nice mediaplay, way to use comfort women to improve your image"? whether its mediaplay, or fans, or his freaking mom, koreans across the board will agree that this is really cool of him to promote and support. also, companies cant upvote this many comments and fans usually dont spend their time upvoting comments to this extent (3000+!) on these kinds of sites.

  45. the reason why Yoseob is my bias :)
    Yoseob, i love u <33333333

  46. It's her own personal insta account, she posts what she likes. Just like how Seob posts what he wants / likes. No reason to compare!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Beast is one Idol Group for whom i see very very few negative comments by netizens. And also personally i really like when celebraties being awareness to social and charitable issues like this. This is one very admirable way to use your popularity. Yoseob is an awesome singer and i love it when he does deuts with other idols, like IU,i esp like "i remember" witht bang yong guk. :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. and they actually listened to him!! B2uties always pick up their trash at those events and concerts. After Dream Concert 2013, B2uties stayed after to pick up their trash while most of the other fandoms have already left. It's so adorable!!!You don't know how much I enjoy being a B2UTY :')

    ReplyDelete
  50. I get that he's admirable and I respect him and his voice and the group itself. That's what make them special. But there's really no reason to compare other idols to him. They do what they want, it's the only little freedom they have. Gee.

    ReplyDelete
  51. well it's a fact that taeyeon is more poular domestically and internationally than yoseob. more popular=more news! and lbr, yoseob posts his fair share of misc. things. atleast he's getting attention now!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I know what you means!!
If the journalist, just write more post about Yoseobie~~

    ReplyDelete
  53. Beast isnt that far behind!!

I mean Beast had their concert in Germany, before all other kpop idols, like SNSD, Suju, TVXQ or JYJ

    ReplyDelete
  54. Yay!! Proud to be a b2uty.....:)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Beast had their World Concert before SNSD.
Doesn't it means, They know they have more fans internationally?

    ReplyDelete
  56. i'm sorry but one mistake doesn't make u brainless. Repeating the mistake over and over maybe. Don't be too fast to put the brainless/idiot tag on anyone for a slip up

    ReplyDelete
  57. it's actually great ^^ but they should search more, i'm pretty sure i saw this bracelet on several idols' wrists.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yoseob has been wearing that bracelet for months now. It's not like that was his first time wearing it on Happy Together. Oh, fan comments with 3000+ upvotes.....okay. Everytime BEAST gets praised, "Oh look, all those comments are from their fans." smh.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Gosh, Taeyeon IG is so annoying.
I think we reported it more than 1000 times,
but still no trace of blocking it -_-

    ReplyDelete
  60. because they targeted the countries where Kpop groups didn't go yet. Not saying they are not popular but it's possible that germans were just happy to see a Kpop group come in their country for once.

    ReplyDelete
  61. i'm saying this as a b2uty, but beast are pretty far behind snsd. i mean they have a strong korean fandom, but internationally and publically, snsd just dominates. but thats not even an insult bc snsd is like up up up there! so yeah. theres really no need to compare (:

    ReplyDelete
  62. Beast are the best!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. Okay guest, no one forces you to follow Taeyeon's Instagram, alright? She can post whatever the hell she wants because it's her Instagram. She doesn't need to please anyone. Reporting her? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?! Gosh, I can't with some people....

    ReplyDelete
  64. But it's still an achievement right?
Since no one did it before?

    ReplyDelete
  65. become b2uty in a second

    ReplyDelete
  66. Not a fan of Yoseob, but even I have to admit that he's probably one of the most influential idols in Korea, every teenager in Korea probably knows/ is a fan of his

    ReplyDelete

no you must believe it and try hard together to change it. korea has 50,000,000 people. over 20,000,000 people in south korea believe nuclear power plants are way better. solar and wind power energy are fake. they are all brainwashed. i am trying to contact all the scientists and people worldwide to stop this. south korea is the top nuclear power plants. south korea will be the next target after japan. now 40 plants, 50, 60... the nuclear accident crisis is getting higher. when i posted a thread on this problem, all the koreans left bad comments to insult me and they spread false knowledge to start nuclear power plants. (other good koreans complained same thing. some koreans leave bad comments to manipulate stuff. even the professor who has made efforts for his entire life couldn't change the people's mind. he is trying to get abortion rate in japan now to prove nuclear power plants are bad). they have manipulated the internet and real life society on nuclear power plants issue. a korean professor said south korea will be dead zone like japan soon. i want to stop this before i die. please help me. south korea can be run by only solar energy because south korea is a small country. please stop rich people. even bill gates came south korea to build nuclear power plants.
please tell me any free energy, wind energy, solar energy group and site etc.
i need everyone's help to stop nuclear power plants.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I'm not comparing.

    Its stating fact.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Wow this is so great of him. We're currently studying the japanese occupation and the issue of comfort women and wow it melts my heart to see him wearing that and i'm not even a fan.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Well I don't think solar power is good idea for South Korea I mean it is not exactly a country were sun shines all time.
Wind Power might work but they would have to built so so many of these wind power farms to get energy for 50 mil people.
So I think nuclear power is quite good solution it is much better than getting energy from oil or coal.

    ReplyDelete
  75. What makes it even greater is that he's just a young lad ^-^ do well~

    ReplyDelete
  76. Not their fan, but my respect for them became higher than for my bias groups. lol.

    ReplyDelete
  77. That's awesome :)
    What a great influence!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I guess everyone forgot about Kikwang's blackface.

    ReplyDelete
  79. so what? he is not a devil. Rest of Beast also aren't.
there's many racist act in kpop (Seungho's tweet, GD blackface, Yesung blackface)
but the thing is that Kikwang did it in variety show. He was rookie at that time, he couldn't say 'no'

I agree that it was bad but you shauld blame kpop in general but you are just looking for a reason to hate on Beast (bc they're not your oppa)

    ReplyDelete
  80. this kind of schtick only works with idols who are already popular. imagine if a t-ara member did this...

    ReplyDelete
  81. This is one of the few times fans wanting to wear what a celebrity wears is actually a good thing and used properly by the celebrity to help people.

    ReplyDelete
  82. as a korean i think it's the same everywhere.
ultra-nationalist think it's good for the country and leftis think the opposite.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Couponbook GamingJuly 26, 2013 at 8:17 AM

you are wrong. you talk exactly same like those bad koreans. too many countries dont use nuclear power. solar and wind power are bigger than nuclear power in the world. korean professor said that "solar and wind power make 20% total electricity of entire world, nuclear power make only 10%. nuclear has not been increased for 25 years. only solar and wind power are getting bigger". even i know so many companies of solar energy. they are pretty cheap and effective.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Seungho's tweet? Could someone explain please?

And when there were rumours of him and Rainbow's Jeakuyng going on WGM together and the fans got mad at Jeakuyng, Yoseob tweeted that he was disappointed and angry when fans reacted that way. He nagged the fans as if he was their mom like you said haha.

  99. hi is not i mean he help children in Kenya and from i know in Kenya children are blacks ,if you are referring to the black face thing this show was garbage he had to do it it his job

    ReplyDelete
  100. sigh. are you really too blind with hate that you cant see it objectively? yeah it was bad and unacceptable, and I was very disappointed with the blackface incident but if you want to accuse someone of being racist, go blame the pd and scriptwriters of that variety show. what people dont realise is that idols (he was even a rookie at that time) have very little or no say at all to the direction of how the pds want to being the show, its not like it was kikwang you urged the scriptwriter to have the blackface skit in the show, he probably had to do to go along with the script. that doesnt make it racist, it makes the tv station and whoever is involved in that show racist but not necessarily kikwang hilmself. i know some people would go on to say, 'but he should've spoken up and said something agains it', again, he was a rookie, I know it may sound lame excuse but being fresh in the industry, he was probably still ignorant of what's politically correct and what's not.

    ReplyDelete
  101. wow <3 he is sensitive and proud of his country, I'm glad his group is so popular, so his beliefs get viral too it's awesome :) I'm liking them even more for supporting each different organizations, way to go, I hope their fans will sincerely do that instead of buying gifts for them or paying saesang taxis. B2st fighting! Their comeback is going to be even more loved now~~

One of those fangirls who were truly amazed and impressed by him. ♡

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'm sorry but some people really need to think before they comments because comments like this is ridiculous. It was the producer's idea to do blackface on the show. It's definitely fucked up and I'm totally against it but you're acting like he was the one who decided to go on the show and told the producer that he wanted to do blackface. BEAST was only a rookie group back then and Kikwang, at that time, scored a spot on Hot Brothers. He wasn't a guest either, he was a fixed cast who had to sign a contract before appearing on the show. Some people think it's so easy to do whatever the fuck you want, it's not. He was basically the only hoobae (junior) on the show while everyone else there were his seniors. I'm sure everyone already know that Koreans take the relationship between juniors and seniors very seriously. If you don't follow what you're told, you're gonna end up damaging your entire career. I don't understand why some people have such a hard time comprehend something so simple.

    ReplyDelete
  107. there we go again
I'm sure kikwang planned everything before going to the show and insisted the pd to let him do blackface and ridiculuzee a race, I'm sure that's exactly what he though. It wasn't a challenge in a show in a country where people don't know blackface is, of course not. His intentions were ill form the beg. and that's what makes himr acist, am I right? I'm sure he doesn't idiolize a great bunch of black artists either. He's totally racist

    ReplyDelete

Uhm, let me explain you why you're comment is quite ironic, When some groups have plagiarism issues, for example, and knetizens blame the group people ehre would always say "it's not their faul, why are they blaming them? it's the producer's fault! ugh". In kikwang's case, he had to do blackface in a show. Blame the freaking PD of the show, not him.
That would be the logical thing to do but people get really emotional over these matters

    ReplyDelete
  109. there are Big Bang members.

how was Jaejoong racist? *just curious*

and you didn't get my point. You're all acting like Kikwang bring this watermelon himself and it was his idea to make fun of black people while it was PD idea. He just followed script bc he was rookie.

on this list are few people who make these racist statement THEMSELVES

but even if my biases said some offensive stuff I still like them. EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES.

I don't consider them as my role model (my biggest idol is Michał Wołodyjowski - yes, literary character) bc only literary character can be PERFECT.

I know that SNSD are called angels and in kpop there's common that everyone are saying that their biases are flawless but that's just not true lol

They're all HUMAN, not angels (girl group AOA anyone?)

So they're not my role model but I still like to watch their video, listen music and laugh with them watching variety shows.

but I guess you all like hate on Kikwang bc he made mistake (and not notice your faves mistakes - you just ignored BigBangs acts)

Have a nice day and enjoy kpop and your biases which are flawless *peace*

    ReplyDelete
  110. Aww, I've never been a fan of his, but he CERTAINLY earned my respect for this alone. This seems like actions of people who is more aware of the reality instead of the stupid world of fame.

    ReplyDelete
  111. let's see, when some idols point out the dark skin of some of their fellow members, it's not racism (lol they're both korean so what the hell). It's a classicit issue, fair skin is considered pretty

    ReplyDelete
  112. Yup, Gikwang is obviously racist.

Sighs. I know the blackface incident was disrespectful be it GK's fault or not in your opinion. But it's kind of sad to see people holding to that one incident to a lifetime hate. Lmao, someone who dislike black people will obviously not tweet this (and many more tweets of him and the other members praising black artists). At the end of the day, I guess once you've made up your mind about hating something, you just get blinded by the hate forever, huh? People should know by now how in some countries, people still barely have any idea that using the N word is inappropriate, how painting your face dark and impersonating black people is considered disrespectful and racist. I think the way some of them see it, they look up to this people hence trying to be like them. I'm from southeast asia and I have no idea about such sensitivity until I became a kpop fan and mingle with people from the western countries.

But then again, no matter how much people try to side GK on this, people will still call him racist throughout his career. Anyway, I am proud of my boys. When I read about this on twitter earlier, I thought they mentioned about the bracelet in HT hence the articles coming out but no, it's just netizens/reporters with sharp eyes :') All the best for this promotion cycle! : )

    ReplyDelete
  113. oh so now you have excuse but you're willing to hate on Kikwang? Get it

    ReplyDelete
  114. mir and sungho are the same race so it makes no sense to call this racism

    ReplyDelete
  115. people here don't even know what comfort women were and still have the decency to comment "korea should get over it" everytime a japanese-related issue comes out

    ReplyDelete
  116. B2st may not be "devils" as you said, but their image is far from perfect which was what I was pointing out in response to OP's post above. Not just Kikwang, Doojoon had his fair share of controversy. I don't care enough for B2st to hate on them, sorry. Keep making excuses for their behavior if it makes you feel better ^^

    ReplyDelete
  117. Exactly, it's so funny how some people's minds work. They considered something scripted, someone who almost had no choice but to do blackface like Kikwang racist but there are so many idols out there who said racist shit from their own mouth yet it's totally "normal"....okay, that makes a lot of sense. Some people baffle me.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yoseob, Oh god, I think I'm in tears, the amounts of upvotes.

Guys, that's my ultimate bias Yoseob right there. <3

    ReplyDelete
  119. I always loved BEAST and will continue doing so.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Kikwang thinks "Usher is GOD." If you follow him on Twitter, he would always fanboy about people like Usher, Chris Brown etc. I remember how he got really happy that Chris Brown decided to follow him on Twitter one day. He fanboys so much it's funny lol

    ReplyDelete
  121. Lol yup. I actually attached the screencap :P That's why I think it doesn't make sense, I mean the accusation huu. I even created this acc just to show that haha T__T

    ReplyDelete
  122. lol why are you getting a lot of downvotes? for pointing out their oppars and unnirs racist mistakes? they probably cant accept the fact that their biases make mistakes too and think they're all perfect human beings. my bias is doojoon and im kinda still disappointed that he couldnt control his reaction with the 'plump' girl during the star date interview but that doesnt mean Im delusional to think that he's mistake-free. he's human afterall.

and they're all playing a role when the camera starts rolling, idols especially have to put a specific kind of character /script in variety shows. its like acting in dramas and movies to a lesser extent. so by that logic, though unacceptable, it was a 'character' that Kikwang had to play in that show not necessarily his true self. so its like this hater is saying that Ralph Fiennes himself (who plays Lord Voldermort in Harry Potter) is a mass murderer and a racist because he kills people and is anti-muggle. hate the fictional character, not the person himself.

    ReplyDelete
  123. good job yoseob! cube really needs this right now since they're the ones that signed rain and all.

    ReplyDelete
  124. he/she didnt say B2st has a perfect image, nor did he/she say she has forgotten the incident, it does seem that fans tend to makes excuses for their oppars mistakes, but to judge a person's whole character based on that and to hold a mistake like that on a person for the rest of their careers is also unfair (especially when the mistake is not directly their fault, in GK's case).

    ReplyDelete
  125. My bias is Doojoon, too but I agree, what he did was wrong. If something is truly wrong, I will say it's wrong. I don't consider my biases to be perfect either. I accept the fact that they make mistakes just like the rest of us because after all, they're still humans, not some robots. I'm ready to criticize my bias group if I have to but Kikwang's issue is just completely stupid. Most of the people commenting about "Kikwang being racist." are mostly trolls though, I guess let them be.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Why can't the other members be more like him-_-

    ReplyDelete
  127. Ironic how you try to troll on this when it clearly says Kikwang supports Kenya.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I guess every BEAST fan should be used to this kind of hate already. People will always find something to hate on them but they can continue to do so if they want. That's not gonna change how I feel about them.

    ReplyDelete
  129. No, we're just not shallow enough to think that
    one stupid mistake=the entire person.

    ReplyDelete
  130. sigh, yes its best to ignore them trolls. but it's still annoying that they bring it up every time there's anything positive said about beast.

    ReplyDelete
  131. PLEASE people. Gi Kwang and DongWoon have different bracelets but they're also doing good things please.

"KiKwang and DongWoon both wore bracelets for organization “Be Connect" which helps children in poverty. KiKwang wears a mint color because he helping children in Kenya and DongWoon wore a darker blue color because he is helping children in Tanzania. Netizens are impressed with Beast because idol groups have significant influence among younger demographics and their supporting great things also inspires other to do so as well." < from Kina down there.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I think that because Beast are well mannered, their fans are also very well mannered (for the most part lol)

Did everyone read the post a security guard made about Beautiful Show? Proud of my fandom. Despite all the haters out there, I really, really am proud to be a B2uty.

  135. 3. [+680, -50] To all the people crying about media play, Yoseob oppa uploaded this on his SNS before journalists picked it up and released it as articles.

Not hating but he HAD to have uploaded something before there could be anything to use for media play lol.

    ReplyDelete
  136. i think the netizen just pointed out that yoseob didn't upload it on purpose for the media... and that was uploaded months ago... the journalists just took notice now because of news about the bracelet... so they started digging his past sns posts...

    ReplyDelete
  137. No one said they're perfect. Are there even any human being who's perfect? Everyone is flawed, even yourself. We explained why we think Kikwang isn't racist. I, myself, would never comment something without properly backing up what I say. Making excuses? We're thinking outside of the box, you're not.

    ReplyDelete
  138. lol. he's a big fan of Omarion, Chris Brown & Usher

    ReplyDelete
  139. The fact that you had to name all this idols to defend your point its sad. You had no vaild argument. You are all defending Kikwang, that it was in show, it was the PD fault, that he helped people in Kenya. Then all those idols that appear on shows and you named on the list are guilty?... if Kikwang is not racist then none of those idol are racist. Going by your logic. Im not saying none of those idols are racist but if you are defending him then please have a valid argument.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Yeah, I did. It seems like b2uties will forever be picking up trash lol

& Beautiful Show was perfect!!! BEAST are trolls though, they picked a fanboy for their YOU performance instead of a fangirl lmao
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfO3yzrn15I

    ReplyDelete
  141. Then all of those people that were in shows and make racist comments are inocent like Kikwang because itwas the PD idea? A lot of shows are scripted in korea, so going by your logic all those racist moment where the PD's fault? Im sure a lot of idols are racist because its kinda normal in countries that are located in Asia.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I have never liked him his cute attitude always gets on my nerves but srsly he earned my recspect .. Love his voice

    ReplyDelete
  143. you created new account to say this lol

If you didn't realized, I didn't blame the other idols (though same of them didn't make this on variety show but on twitter, in free time) - I know they're humans, can make mistakes bla blah

I'm just saying that people think he's racist when they have no proof.

They think that's ENTIRELY his foult when the variety shows environment should be the one to blame.

Don't act like you are the Guardian of the Peace.

According to your logic, If you want to hate him for what he did in variety show bc he was asked to do this, hate on everybody from this list.

    only then you are fair

    ReplyDelete
  144. NETBUZZ YOU MADE MY DAY. SEOB is my favoritestestest guy in the world (apart from jaesuk) Aw!!!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Me too ;AA; I live in Southeast Asia and i had no idea that the N word is rude and blackface even exist and racist srsly ;AA

    ReplyDelete
  146. i dont see him listing out the other idols as trying to defend his point or putting the blame on other idols but more pointing out to the trolls that there are these incidents do happen that other idols and to a large extent the SK ent industry.

so what do you propose should be done to him and the rest of his racist idol friends? punish them for their past ignorance? fine them? hang them in the gallows? condemn them as racist for the rest of their lives? and again since you want a valid point to back this up, the whole of South Korea entertainment industry and society by large is racist then. since you're very smart and seems to always come up with valid argument, what's the solution and what should we do to these racist entertainers?

    ReplyDelete
  147. yes it's true that Yosoeb will scold beauty or nag at them if beauty do something wrong .but he scold/nag them for good ^^ He's a very interesting guy

    ReplyDelete
  148. i get the part where he uploaded it not for the media. HOWEVER, the fact that it wasn't written about for months and suddenly there are articles on it makes it even fishier. But, whatever. Everyone has their own opinion.

I dont hate on him, Im not interested in beast at all. I dont know if he is racist or not, you dont know if he is racist or not. Your/My bias could be racist and we would never know. But defending him saying it was the PD's fault make all those idols innocent too. Its 50/50 it could be the pd fault or a mistake that he make. Btw the fact that you completely forget about some TVXQ racist moments make me question you.

    ReplyDelete
  153. biotch please, EXO members racist? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  154. I know in most contries of Asia racist is common. I dont judge people because their are racist. Thats pretty common on Korea. But why are some of you pressed that he could be racist? And that all those idols could be too? Dont defend him saying is the pd's fault. I can take being a mistake on his part but we would never know if hes racist or not. I cant talk for you onhow would you see this idols if they are racist, its you that have to make that desition.

    ReplyDelete
  159. oh but i follow his instagram. That pic is pretty old. He doesn't take and post pics all the time. He sometimes uploads some from his phone from a while back, so it could really be longer than dated from his post.

    ReplyDelete
  160. where is racist Seungri? and racist Yoochun?

    ReplyDelete
  161. Of course we don't know him personally but people are judging it on a scripted show. They said that he did blackface because he's racist, basically implying that he came to the set and told everyone, "Oh, I'm gonna paint my face black, wear an afro wig and eat the watermelon like a black person. Is that ok with everyone?" He didn't. Kikwang's issue wasn't exactly based on a racist comment, more on the visual. You can't actually think he went to the set with a blackface himself, right?

    ReplyDelete
  162. Your source has to be wrong I haven't investigated or paid really any attention to this thing but I still know that wind and solar power can't be bigger than nuclear power in world electricity production. So I went and investigated
this picture is from official IEA(International Energy Agency) report from 2012. It shows how all of the world electricity 12,9% is produced by nuclear power in 2010 and that 1973 that was only 3,3% so nuclear power use has increased almost 4 times in those 27 years.

2010 "Other" share was only 3,7% and that includes wind, solar, geothermal. heat, biofuels and waste. So nuclear power is much more used in electricity production than solar or wind power.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Yoseob is indeed an angel. He is always respectable and seems to have a good heart. There are a lot of proofs that support my statement, only b2utys understand. I may sound bias since I am saying this as a fan of Beast since 2010, but that's also the reason why I am stating this. Being Beast fan of three years, (after monitoring other groups who even have way MORE HANDSOME members, hoping for getting new biases lol), not even one seemed better than BEAST in my eyes. BEAST truly shines on me. I don't know why though. I might call it Love, an unconditional love, for the exact. Beast truly keeps shining in every opportunity, personally and musically wise. And this article is one of the examples.

    ReplyDelete

  173. Totally random but almost all of the countries in Asia especially South
East Asia were colonized and also suffered under Japanese imperial (my
country for almost 4 fucking centuries), why the hell were Korean
netizens are always so pressed about Japanese related stuff.

    The
ones to blame are clearly the previous government, the people who have
power at that time and all of them are probably be dead right now. Why
keep hating the newer generation. What do netizen expect them to do? Bow

For me, even someone repeating a mistake over and over again, there are still some questions in my mind, before judge someone a brainless.

    ReplyDelete
  183. yeah, kikwang is racist and he's a big fan of Usher and Chris Brown. Go to his twitter account and you'll see a tweet that says "USHER is GOD!!!!". like please, you make judgements and you don't even know anything... Do you think Korea had the same history as USA, Brazil and other countries? They're not traumatized by some things like slavery of Africans like the people here in Brazil and other places are. And what happened in that program doesn't prove anything. In many countries people make fun of asians, that means that they are racists? it was a lame joke, yeah, but he was not there to write the script. Not just that, according to Asian standards, people with fair skin are prettier. And this fact doesn't make them racist. I live in a city where people are considered pretty if they tanned. Are they racist too?

    ReplyDelete
  184. The Japanese Government doesn't say that those women wanted to prostitute themselves. It says that those women already were prostitutes (forced by Korean pimps) when Japanese soldiers took them with them to the front (and payed for them).

It doesn't really matter for the women, as either way they were forced to give their bodies to Japanese soldiers. Because of that they were scared for the rest life.

It does matter though in terms of political relations between Korea and Japan.

Japan's version is that Korea was already a lively whorehouse and the soldiers just 'consumed' what they were willingly offered by their colonial subordinates.

Korea's version is that there was no prostitution whatsoever in Korea (which they also claim for today's Korea) until the Japanese devils invaded the peninsula and brutally snatched all the innocent Korean girls from the streets.

As the world isn't black and white, the truth probably lies in between. For this conflict to end both sides have to acknowledge that they were women kidnapped and raped by the Japanese soldiers A N D that there were prostitutes given to the Japanese soldiers by Koreans.

But if you know even a little bit about East-Asian face culture you will know that neither side will make the first move and also acknowledge the other side's perspective, because that would be a sign weakness.

I do agree that some Koreans should stop with the huge hate on Japan. Yes, the Japanese people did do horrible things in the past. But, those people aren't the same people that live today. Koreans (the ones being prejudice) should forgive the Japanese but, don't forget their history (that way everyone learns from the mistakes of the past).

    Two words: more popularity.

SNSD has a huge fanbase and Taeyeon happens to be one of the most popular members in the group...a lot of my Korean friends (especially the ones that have served the army already) have said they admire Taeyeon because she sings well, she's pretty and has cute charms.
