Article: "Conversation in North Korean dialect..." Junior high school students awarded for reporting spies

Source: Yonhap News via Naver

Two female junior high school students heard two men talking in a North Korean dialect on their way home and reported it to their homeroom teacher the next day. Although she thought the chances of them being North Korean spies was low, she advised that they report it to the police.

They weren't able to track the two men down but gave the girls a security commendation and tickets to cultural events. "Young students these days don't have much consideration for security, so these two girls did a brave thing. We hope that other students and citizens will learn something from them."
