A picture of a banner hanging at the entrance of an elementary school is spreading online because the banner says "Time for the sixth grade class to study with their lives on the line, pilseung (win at any cost)" for their examination period. Netizens are upset that schools are encouraging competition and placing too much importance on grades on kids at such a young age.

1. [+418, -11] Bitter indeed... the pilseung is so unnecessary. It's not like they're going into war.

2. [+373, -17] With the principals and the administrators all crazy in the head... how can we expect our kids to grow up sane.

3. [+329, -14] Look at all this passion in our education and yet we aren't being showered with Nobel prizes, why is that? With the emphasis our country places on education, you'd think we'd win all the awards in the world but that's not the case. Korea is the leader when it comes to inefficient education.

4. [+11, -1] That school is nuts ㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+8, -0] At that age, they should allow the kids to run and play... play with legos and sports with their friends...
