A 52 year old man kidnapped his 23 year old step daughter in his trailer and sexually assaulted her while threatening her with a weapon over the course of two days.

The judge sentenced him to 7 years in prison, reasoning, "He requires an extreme punishment because not only did he sexually assault his step daughter over the course of two days, but even planned a runaway. Considering that he claims he is innocent because his act was in retaliation against his wife who was caught cheating on him, it is clear that he has not realized the gravity of his crime."

1. [+71, -1] Who is the judge? Is he just asking to be hated? Only 7 years to a father who sexually assaulted his daughter several times over? 7 years? He should've at least added one more number to that if he had any consideration at all for the future of that woman.

2. [+55, -3] 7 years is not enough for a man like him...

3. [+45, -2] Why can't we be like America? Sentence people to 99 years in jail, make sure that criminals like him can never step inside society again. How can we even leave the house to go to the store across the street in a society like this?

4. [+45, -2] I seriously wonder how they expect that woman to recover in just 7 years...

5. [+41, -1] After 7 years, he will probably remarry another woman and rape her daughter as well ㅡㅡ Can't the court just keep them in jail until they're about to die?

6. [+42, -3] Seven years... that's extreme, all right. The judge would've probably shortened the sentence had he not used a weapon. Our country is so kind to sexual criminals.

7. [+37, -1] Every single day, we're receiving updates on new sexual assault cases... why isn't the court updating the punishments as well?

8. [+30, -2] Why does the court refuse to give past the 10 year mark? How do they expect the step daughter to live after 7 years? What is this judge even thinking? Don't they learn from other countries? If they were given the position to be a judge, use their freaking heads and give out the appropriate sentences.
