Siwon really did great with his role as Kang Hyun Min. Most likely because the role allows him to utilize his natural sillines and derps lol
ReplyDeleteI didn't like his acting in the past nor took him serious w/e but he was seriously good in this drama and showed how his acting has been improving since.
ReplyDeleteHe cracked me up several times during an episode especially at when he was going to buy a car for his girlfriend with no actual money and waiting for Anthony's news of payment.
whats even funnier was that he had the money but just didnt want to spread the payment and have to use multiple cards!

ReplyDeleteYeah he improved from his previous dramas, as he should be tbh... considering that he already acted as leading man in four dramas prior to King of Dramas. I think this role suits him the best, and I'm glad people recognize his performance.

ReplyDeleteeven though it had low ratings, it was a really good drama. i really enjoyed it. it hooked me from the first episode. im glad i gave it a try. now i know a bit about how they produce dramas. i recommend this drama. dont think about the low ratings, they dont always determine if a drama is good or not. it just had tough competition in its time slot.

If you actually carefully watched the drama, the whole theme of the drama is to produce a good, original, fresh, never before seen drama with substance even if it runs the risk of not having high ratings rather than to produce a typical drama with an ordinary theme in order to obtain money from product placement.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many populaf drama on the same air time i guess...only this drama i complete watchin from episode 1 till 18...i cant stand watchin i missed you...really make my heart n head heavy.
Technically, yeah. But being a flop because it doesn't have a lot of ratings doesn't mean the drama's storyline sucks.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm glad you won't watch it. Stick to your Boys Before Flowers and Heartstrings until you really watch a real k-drama without idols in it.
Have you watched 'King of Dramas' in which Siwon has made many derpy faces that require extreme facial moments? Botox users can never pull it off. And just seeing pic of him in Beijing to promote 'Breakdown', his forehead gets natural winkle lines when he raises his eyebrows up high.
ReplyDeleteMoreover, he's known as the one who has a very healthy skin and knows how to take care of it with skincare products even before debut according to his SJ members.
I really loved this drama, unlike others I've seen the quality didn't drop towards the end or get confusing as storylines were changed suddenly. Really deserved to have higher ratings, I hope it does well internationally.
