Found this running around Pann today and thought the numbers might help anyone. Feel free to correct anything if it's wrong! I'll include all of the replies to it because the picture was posted as a best reply.

1. TVXQ: 3,603,409 units
2. KARA: 1,078,569 units
3. SNSD: 785,810 units
4. 2PM: 561,594 units
5. Super Junior: 550,699 units
6. SHINee: 467,773 units
7. T-ara: 274,782 units
8. Big Bang: 192,029 units
9. INFINITE: 142,456 units
10. B2ST: 141,483 units
-
- I'm just satisfied we're in the top 10 ã…‹ã…‹ Although it'd be nice if we climbed up the rank more
- Happy to be in the top 10!
- But I heard that Big Bang is stronger in digital sales than album sales like in Korea
- The digital market only makes up 2% of Japan's music market
- Glad that we're in the top 10
- All kill for TVXQ
- I thought the numbers would be outdated but it has Android included!
- Satisfied with 10th placeã… ã…
- Oh~ INFINITE's in 9th?
- Big Bang and B2ST didn't really release that much. The numbers would be higher if they did.
- The number of releases are all different, the comparison doesn't seem fair
- Big Bang has better concert sales than albums
- People tend to dismiss these numbers saying it's not reason enough to compare but I think these numbers are just as important in recognizing all that our groups have achieved in a foreign market.
- No one can beat TVXQ
- These numbers were earned through hard work, regardless of what the rankings below TVXQ are. Japan's music market is the 2nd largest in the world so these numbers are nothing to scoff at regardless of your fandom
- Wow I'm glad 2PM is in 4th with great results in Japan
- Proud of INFINITE. Keep stretching out into the world ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

I wonder where are those KARA fans froms yesterday now....
ReplyDelete(I have nothing against them, I like their Japanese albums. It's just that no one can compare to TVXQ.)
Tvxq are in Japan longer than Kara it's like comparing Britney's sales with Rihanna's
Deletethis only includes singles and yea its obvious tohoshinki would be first. they have been there way longer and released way more
ReplyDeleteBig Bang only 5 singles during 2009-2010 and still rank 8th lol
ReplyDeleteIt's about time they release a Japanese single again.. Their sales would probably be much higher now
Where should they be? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been always clear TVXQ is the biggest in Japan.
Thanks for the list
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why they didn't include junsu's single in tvxq's sales, is it because he wasn't part of the group anymore when he released it?
ReplyDeleteKinda sad that supernova it's not in the top 10
Yep, seems about right.
ReplyDeletethey also had to struggle more than the current idols, so it's balanced
ReplyDeletenot exactly a foreign market when you release and promote the songs in japanese.
ReplyDeleteomg, INFINITE is here! so proud of them!
ReplyDeleteYeah, considering they only released 3 singles, all remakes, and 2 of them weren't even hits in Korea, they're doing pretty well. Now they just need to release original Japanese songs.
DeleteIf it was released after JYJ broke free from tvxq, then yes that's probably why
ReplyDeletewow! I'm so proud of Suju...They didn't officially promote in Japan and release only 5 singles from 2010-2012 and yet they are on the Top 5...
ReplyDeleteThe list is so wrong. Supernova, Smash and SHU-I are the best selling kpop artists in Japan. It's just that nobody remembers that they are kpop groups.
ReplyDeleteI knew 2pm were doing great but I had no idea they surpassed suju in sales! congratulations.
ReplyDeleteshout out to SHINee; I hope they reach the top five soon.
- The digital market only makes up 2% of Japan's music market
ReplyDeleteFucking hell this. Japan need to get into the 21st century. Why am I paying $30 for one single with 4 songs + shipping even tho I might only like 1, 2 songs on the single? Put all that shit on Itunes and learn to use the internet, not just use it for phone services like Recochoku.
Oh I'm surprised I always thought Big Bang was kinda big in Japan, with Seungri promoting there and stuff? (lol i'm not a fan so i don't really know anything about it okay) and also surprised at 2PM doing so well! How did they sell that much? :o (I thought JYP was flopping everywhere tbh /bricked)
ReplyDeleteAnd SM groups are all doing more or less well in Japan, uh~ They should release more original songs there rather than doing a half-assed japanese version from the Korean ones imo ==;
japan has itunes
ReplyDeleteAt least you aren't being forced to buy multiple copies of the same single because some label is being fucking cheap
ReplyDeleteOutside fans can't access japanese itunes tho and Japanese don't really utilize it that much
ReplyDeleteSome can't access every single japanese release can though? I mean i know they have a j-pop section on the US version but I don't think every single Japanese Itunes release gets released outside of Itunes Japan
ReplyDeleteIDK...alot of their singles come in multiple ver so you kind have to buy different copies to get all the songs. :\
ReplyDeleteIt's really easy to go broke when you stan J-idol groups and buy every one of their releases.
But big bang has still been releasing material in Japan, so of course they are ranked. They had promotions this year in Japan as well, so pretending big bang hasnt done anything since 09' 10' but they're still ranked is dumb because regardless of if they are new singles, big bang has been milking the japanese market.
ReplyDeleteThey haven't released a Japanese single since 2010 and this is a list of single sales, so what's your point?
ReplyDeleteBut big bang has, Monster was released and promoted.
ReplyDeleteYeah, those releases are only for the most diehard fans. They also tend to be the most batshit crazy...
ReplyDeletewhat about the japanese version of their alive songs? it doesnt count?
ReplyDeletePromoting a song =/= releasing a physical single.
ReplyDelete2pm's japan fanbase is slowly growing with each release, but like many groups, they sell 3 versions of their albums and singles and sometimes hold events. Therefore, people tend to buy a bit more when that happens. Their arena tour starting next week is completely sold out so that's a good sign i would think
ReplyDeleteThese are just single sales. Big Bang hasn't released a single since 2010.
ReplyDeleteTohoshinki of course :D
ReplyDeletei am surprised about 2pm i didn't expected that
this is just single's right?
ReplyDeleteHow many years is TVXQ promoting is Japan? .. Kara with only few singles is 2nd.
ReplyDeletebutthurt Cassies think Toho was big there but that's all lies.
KARA is super more popular in Japan than DBSK in their golden years.
what's the different? could u tell me? :)
ReplyDeleteyes, judging but what's on the list
ReplyDeleteXIAH (Intoxication): 225,638 should be nº 8 then...or in tvxq sales.
ReplyDeletein the list DBSK has around 40 titles, it's obvious they are going to sell more than the others.
ReplyDeleteKARA is the real champion here.
"Japan's music market is the 2nd largest in the world so these numbers are nothing to scoff at regardless of your fandom"
ReplyDeleteno duh. even a nugu artist in japan can sell more than a top group in korea. that's why kpop companies have been flooding the japanese market with their artists.
Monster was released as a song on the Japanese version of Alive which is an ALBUM not a SINGLE. A single is kinda of a mini album when they release like 1-2 songs by themselves. This chart shows single sales but I think you are mistaking this for DIGITAL sales which is completely different.Big Bang's last single as it is written on the list is Beautiful Hangover which was released in 2010. Hope this clarifies for everyone.
ReplyDeletelmao why should they get with the time? they have the 2nd largest music market in the world, and their singers don't even need to go overseas to make money. if it ain't broken, why fix it.
ReplyDeleteNetizenbuzz is kissing Cassies' ass
ReplyDelete"KARA Single Japanese Album of 'Super Girl' to Mark 1,000,000 Sales"
Oh this is true! They probably would sell a lot more now, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm quite surprised that U-Kiss, Supernova and CNblue are not in that list, I thought they were pretty popular in Japan.
ReplyDeleteBig Bang is irrelevant in Japan
ReplyDeleteNo! they were part of an album! the article is about a single album who was released physically or digitally without being part of an album!
ReplyDeletethe last japaneese single by Bigbang was released in 2010
hope that helped!
BoA, DBSK, Kara, Supernova... The best korean artists to have debuted in Japan, in my opinion..
ReplyDeleteAll worked hard for their fame there.
Actually studying the language. not releasing half assed songs.
you thought wrong.
ReplyDeleteYes stupid koreaboos don't realize this. Right after the USA, japan is second for the most profitable music industry.
ReplyDeleteWhat if it is tho?
ReplyDeletehttp://aramatheydidnt.livejournal.com/4414189.html
Yeah!! they ONLY had 3 sold out dome concerts and 17 other sold out concerts in Japan during the last part of 2012!
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense!
where the hell is BoA?
ReplyDeleteAre you that stupid? Japan does not wish for the music scene to be international like Korea. Thats why they don't fuck with that shit.
ReplyDeleteThey are looking for their industry to be profitable.
Now go back to listening to that AKB48 garbage you always talk about.
boa is #1 but she isn't a group
ReplyDeleteThe list is wrong, I bet it was made by a TVXQ fan.
ReplyDeleteThe title says " Kpop GROUPS" that's why she's not included
ReplyDeleteikr. I'm laughing at the comments here trying to teach the japanese how to fix their market. lmao they have the 2nd largest music industry. Obviously they're not doing anything wrong.
ReplyDeleteif you wanna see a flop music industry, look no further than the kpop one. It's dead as f-ck which is why all these kpop artists have to debut in other countries to make money.
Vips need to shut the fuck up. No one care about Big Bang this time around
ReplyDeleteMuch needed additional information:
ReplyDeleteA single is kinda of a mini mini album when they release like 1-2 songs by themselves. This is NOT the same thing as a DIGITAL sales.
big bang are not stronger digitally. They don't have a single digital certification in japan.
ReplyDeleteToo lazy to write new ones. Also I listen to EXILE, E-girls, Perfume, SPYAIR, SCANDAL, and One Ok Rock . Do I need to put a list of all the people I listen? Just because people are bitches to AKB and I have to defend them doesn't mean I listen to only them. *shrug*
ReplyDeletehttp://aramatheydidnt.livejournal.com/4414189.html
Majority of comments are saying CDs are way too overpriced and the content is not worth the price.
Not saying they should target foreign markets but making things more accessible don't hurt~
CDs have always been expensive in japan. it won't affect shit~
ReplyDeleteI highly suggest you to take a look at their Alive tour and count how many concerts they held in Japan. Your comment is embarassing~
ReplyDeleteIt can since Japan is in an economic recession.
ReplyDeletelol the thumbs down. people don't realize that boa has 3 million sellers in japan. She might not be as popular now but she sold way more physically and digitally.
ReplyDeleteYeah!! Its crazy how koreaboos think their music industry is so amazing. Its absolute shit! All they do is mimic what is going on in the American, European and Japanese music scene, and try to call it their own. It's quite sad really. Kpop will never be recognized for anything substantial.
ReplyDelete*rolls eyes* Who do you think paved the path for idol groups to even have a chance in Japan. Bao along Tohoshinki did that for those idol groups that are currently do activities in Japan.
ReplyDeleteI thumb you down not because of your comments but because of the way you are spamming this post instead of writing a single comment. Five comments in a row just to give your opinion, seriously?
ReplyDeleteAlbums list is diferent but many fangirls won't like it.
ReplyDeleteBIG BANG is overrated. they made concerts here and there but general public in Japan, US, Europe don't give a fuck about them
ReplyDeleteBig Bang are the kings of Kpop, btch. They are always relevant...
ReplyDeleteFantastic Baby is gold certified.
ReplyDeleteNor do they care about any Kpop group for that matter. Not sure why you're singling out Big Bang with this statement, is their success bothering you? :)
ReplyDeleteHey Vips. Japan would rather pay to see Big Bang perform live than pay for their shitty music. Let's be honest their music is garbage. But they are pretty good performers. They put on a good show. They are even better than 2NE1 when it comes to lives.
ReplyDelete- Big Bang and B2ST didn't really release that much. The numbers would be higher if they did.
ReplyDeleteBig Bang needs to stick to Korea. If they were so big in Japan they wouldn't need to release 200 albums/singles.
wow so annoying, TVXQ was the one to open the Japanese market with Boa, is thanx to them KARA is able to sell in japan
ReplyDeleteall thanks to Boa and TVXQ paving the way with actual hardwork
ReplyDeleteeven if the general public outside of korea don't know them, they are still selling out their concerts, so they must be doing something right
ReplyDeleteWell let's think about it. i am both a kamilia and cassie i would say.. But DBSK debuted in Japan, when it was honestly unheard of besides BoA. So of course it was a bit harder for them to become popular. For Kara it was easier because they cashed in when Hallyu really started to blow up. -.-
ReplyDeletelol. I'm not even a cassie but TXVQ have been in Japan several years before DSP shipped their flops to japan and took advantage of the hallyu shit.
ReplyDeleteExactly.. Theni just cringe when a random nerd comes out and say 'BUT THEY SELL OUT DOMES IN JAPAN OPPAS ARE POPULAR OTTOKEEE'.
ReplyDeleteThen Mr.Children (a real group which Japanese public cares) comes and sells nearly 3 fucking million albums in a year and Koreaboos betting in Japan music scene are staring in awe.
I mean some Kamillas and Sones are even claming their groups can clash with AKB48..
Only because DBSK broke up. Trust me if DBSK were still around as 5. Big Bang who??..
ReplyDeletekings of tryhard
ReplyDeleteROFL cassies and their "paving the way" shit again
ReplyDeleteyes Boa and Kdramas were the first popular acts in Japan but that doesn't mean every Kpop group will be a success.
Kara is the best korean group in Japan and that's a fact.
cd sales have dropped universally. if the economy is bad, everything suffers, not just the music industry. we'll see what happens though.
ReplyDeleteI'm not suprised by this list. It seems likes alot of japanese likes sm style groups, the pretty and cute groups.
ReplyDeleteKara's popularity in Japan will be like their popularity in Korea. Temporary.
ReplyDeleteBig Bang is the only group in Europe that performed in the 12,000 venue Wembley arena of London, ..twice in a row! They had to make an additionnal concert. That's more than all kpop groups who performed in Europe. This is the only concert where you could see fans + general public.
ReplyDeleteI agree. they sell more in korea than japan lol. The other groups all sell more in japan so it's understandable why they would focus on japan.. but I seriously don't understand why bb is still trying in japan.
ReplyDeleteKEEP DREAMING
ReplyDeleteI don't get why Korea went from focusing on physical releases to relying on digital sales. It made it much easier from preventing nobody group from oversaturing the industry.
ReplyDeleteLIAR . I AM IN JAPAN NOW AND IT IS NOT TRUE
ReplyDeleteLIAR. I AM IN JAPAN NOW AND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS NOT TRUE
ReplyDeleteLIAR HAHAHA
ReplyDelete2PM is now working on a multiple cities arena tour in Japan which ends with a 2 day Tokyo dome tour. Arena tour is all sold out. They worked very hard but also neglecting Korea activities to achieve this.
ReplyDeleteok, I just added the last 7 single sells of TVXQ, 5 of them being after the break up and
ReplyDeleteit added to 1,477,745
and if people cant understand why I used the 7 last singles and not the first
one well u guys dont really deserve the time to explain
I love supernova.. I think their music is even better than Johnnys..
ReplyDeleteAND i thought that kara fans are the best fans in kpop. they are not anymore since they started compatring kara to tvxq.
ReplyDeleteif kara members hear what their fans said they will be like " wtf" too xd
let me tell you that the respect that TVXQ has in Japan will never be available for Kara or any other Kpop artist(except boa)
BoA is the korean Queen in Japan
ReplyDeleteLOL dude, if KARA is the best kpop group in japan kpop is screwd in general, and it will look really bad if people thought KARA is the best kpop can offer
ReplyDeletedidn't kara lateset album flop? tvxq latest album sold more than 100k copies in one day and kara didn't even sell 100k in first week lol.
ReplyDeleteand i think that japanese respect tvxq and boa more than kara or snsd
Shut the fuck up with the flop comments..There is not one artist in the entire world that has consistent #1's okay. Fucking internet hipsters
ReplyDelete"general public in Japan, US, Europe don't give a fuck about them" -- well general public in those countries don't give a fuck about kpop... so your point??
ReplyDeleteSelling ~30K a single is not enough to get you on the list compared to KARA, TVXQ, SNSD, etc.
ReplyDeleteNah it's normal to buy 1, 2 different copies to get all the songs you like.
ReplyDeleteThe hardcore fans are the ones that buy multiple copies of the same ver.
Yes sir. Fucking tryhard wanna be thugs along with everyone in ghetto ass YG-entertainment
ReplyDeleteWell they may not do as well as tvxq and others but bigbang does reasonablly well thats why they still go to japan. They had 17sold out concerts so far this year in japan and another 2 this month. And the highest record number of japanese coming to korea for a concert was for bigbangs concert at the start of the year.
ReplyDeleteLOL BigBang hasn't released a single since 2010
ReplyDeleteSj doesn't need promotions they are above that :)
ReplyDeleteSupernova, Smash and SHU-I? who??? girl, nobody care about those nugus
ReplyDeleteJust amazing
ReplyDeletelol does that even make sense? when youre going to a concert youre essentially paying to hear the bands music....so why would people who hate their music spend hundreds to go see a band that they dislike? logic please.
ReplyDeletepreach! lol Japanese people just love going to concerts. KARA do not have die hard fans like TVXQ who will support them even when the group breaks up.
ReplyDeleteSorry to say this to you but many new kpop fans don't know that big band was dominating in Korea even when TVXQ was 5. Big bang appeal more to general public and they won artist of the year many times against TVXQ and they always get all kill and tvxq never did.
ReplyDeletetruth need to be said
Kara fans are still the best fans in Kpop, the only problem here is butthurt and delusional TVXQ fans aka Cassies.
ReplyDeleteoh the irony
ReplyDeleteso sick of haters. first it was jyj stans vs tvxq fans and now
ReplyDeletekara fans. they don't know what they comeback after 2011 means to us and to the boys .kara went through hard times too so their fans should understand.
this website is just full of haters
u sound new to the internet
ReplyDeleteno but it was a comment of someone who sick of all of this
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of KARA, the girls are Daebak!!
ReplyDeleteJapanese people LOVE going to concerts. If you put on a good show they will attend, even if they do not necessarily like their music.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't tell me you have never not liked a song.. But when you heard it live you didn't mind it.
Omg you sound soo immature and childish? Are you 12 years old. Sorry this is not allkpop
ReplyDeleteI think allkpop fans need to realize this website is not allkpop. The comment sections on NB are not run by delusional 12 yr old fan girls (Although i can see that Vips are trying to take over this site)
ReplyDeleteYou're better off at allkpop
Yeah she's so huge that she is actually considered jpop.
ReplyDeleteSeungri promoting in Japan just lately.
ReplyDeleteTVXQ's number is higher than that, the list is missing some releases including their TONE album that sold 331,320 copies
ReplyDeleteyes it's wrong TVXQ actually sold a lot more than that, it's missings some of their releases lol
ReplyDeletesorry but you can't tell because it's the internet . try harder next time lol
ReplyDeleteThe best Kpop Idol group japanese song is:: Why did i fall in love with you.. By... DBSK!!!
ReplyDeletemy bad, i didn't realize the list only included singles
ReplyDeleteDBSK was far more respected than those Big Bang wanna be thugs. Everyone loved DBSK
ReplyDeleteThey were boy band perfection.
Have you ever seen them do a capella? Amazing. No other Male k-idol group can do that
LMAO no
ReplyDeletethat boring ballad ? hahaha NO.
wow, TVXQ first single sold 5,000....if it wasnt for the efforts of the five members, any of those korean groups would have sell more than 5.000
ReplyDeletelol fake list made by cassie no1 curr
ReplyDeleteJust shut up and don't say "wanna be thugs" about them. I like big bang . both big bang and tvxq are still respected everywhere
ReplyDeleteDon't reply of you don't have anything better to say. ok?
ReplyDeletethe power of SM who kept trying with them in Japan
ReplyDeletetry harder
ReplyDeleteyou username explains it all
ReplyDeleteDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUSHITE???!!!!
ReplyDeletelmao no they aren't. you've never actually looked at their sales have you? Stop trying to be cool by knowing unpopular groups
ReplyDeletebe careful kara fans. if the number of kara fans increased you know why.
ReplyDeleteomg sones are so much better ( i don't even like sones at all).
the best fans are ss501 fans
ur icon is so gay :(
ReplyDeletethe best fans are ss501 fans.
ReplyDeleteOutside japan, kara can't even sell out a concert
uh no, these are solid facts of how many units each group has sold. toho has sold the most even if super girl sold that much
ReplyDeleteTvxq has consistent #1s lol
ReplyDeleteThe list seems kinda off, SNSD's first japanese album + repackage alone sold 1 million copies
ReplyDeleteIt funny how DBSK fangirls can't see how Kara is more successful than TVXQ in Japan.
ReplyDeleteJust accept the reality.
lol TVXQ ARE THE GODS OF K-POP, If it wasn't for TVXQ and Boa Big Bang wouldn't have dreamt of entering the japanese market..btch
ReplyDeleteyes it is!
ReplyDeletewoah 2PM will be soon the best boy group in Nihon .. Ganbatte 2PM <3 !!!
ReplyDeleteand..
ReplyDeletethe list is of singles not album
ReplyDelete@netizenbuzz I think this is kinda old. Because, My heaven,Gara Gara Go,Tell me Goodbye,Beautiful Hangover,Koe wo Kikasete are listed and all of them are from 2009-2010 era. This year Bigbang had new Japanese songs.I just read the news "Big Bang won Asian Album of the Year from Japan Golden Disk Awards" isn't it weird.Maybe I'm wrong. Thank you for your work.
ReplyDeleteTVXQ have many fanboys
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they wouldn't include the albums though
ReplyDeleteBut you have to admit that TVXQ has achieved so much in both Korea and Japan, they had always broke the records set by others and then breaks their own..Just look at them now with Just two members they broke the record they set before and now they're gonna perform in 5 Domes in Japan making them The First Korean artist to do so and the 4th foreinger..
ReplyDeleteI'm not trying to bash, but the netizens trying to make excuses for why their biases didn't rank first was annoying. :/
ReplyDeleteWho cares what Big Bang achieved in Korea? Korea's music industry is a complete mess. Nothing substantial going on there.
ReplyDeletelol i bet that ur bias group can't sing such 'boring ballad' with such voices like that..Hahaha
ReplyDeletelol there is like 2 or 3 fans of kara creating multiple accounts here to talk about kara.
ReplyDeletePoor kara. They are nothing outside japan
Respect to all TVXQ and Big bang members. They have so much fans everywhere and they broke many records
ReplyDeleteI think this has turn into a Cassievs.VIPvs.Kamilia
ReplyDeleteThe numbers in the list are not even correct. It looks like it' made by DBSK fans.
ReplyDeletelol how many accounts do u hav?
ReplyDeletethis
ReplyDeleteso much
Big Bang didn't promote in Japan last year, the can sell way more than 192,029 units.
ReplyDeleteSHU-I? Lol wtf. Yes to Super Nova though lol.
ReplyDeleteyou dream, Tvxq are flops now.
ReplyDelete2009: Korea's Highest Earning Celebrities
ReplyDelete1) TVXQ ₩ 127,340,000,000 (around $109.1 million US dollars)
2) Rain / Bi ₩ 62,000,000,000 (around $53.1 million US dollars)
3) Big Bang ₩ 20,000,000,000 (around $20 million US dollars)
TVXQ’s revenue for 2009 was estimated at ₩ 127,340,000,000 (around $109.1 million US dollars). ₩ 91,200,000,000 came from album sales, ₩ 35,940,000,000 came from concerts, and around ₩ 2,000,000,000 came from advertisements to come up with the total revenue.
Source: AKP TVXQ are top earners in Korea for 2009
I do respect Big Bang and i love their Music and stuff but i'll never respect thier fans..Especially those Butthurt Vips who doesn't want to admit that BB are the Kings of K-pop and TVXQ are the Legends/Gods of K-pop
ReplyDeletebut tvxq do.
ReplyDeletelol The sales figures here speak for themselves TVXQ and Cassies don't need Netizenbuzz to prove it..it's a fact that Japan is TVXQ's Territory
ReplyDeletethis TVXQ fan is totally delusional.
ReplyDeleteeven in 2008, the best TVXQ era, Big bang was the king of KPOP. if you are a Cassies you should know TVXQ digital sales sucks and koreans didn't care about your group, only the fans.
fans are what matters at the end
ReplyDeleteA+++++++++
ReplyDeletethey outta join forces with the jyj mafia since they both think the world revolves around their oppas
ReplyDeletenot as much as kara
ReplyDeletewhat matters are that big bang and tvxq are so much better than those girls kara.
ReplyDeleteThey have fans everywhere while kara can only sell a concert in japan
you look sooo pathetic hating on kara, they are nice girls and they do nothing wrong. how can anyone hate them
ReplyDeletelet's talk when KARA loses 3 members and is still able to hold a DOME Tour
ReplyDeletelol true true. VIPS, JYJ and ELFs are all the same to me..
ReplyDeletethe list only included singles album, not full length albums.. looking at the singles release from dbsk, they still had awesomely huge sales even though they are only two. bigger sales than kara etc so yeah..
ReplyDeleteThat still doesn't make sense to me. Why would you pay for a live concert of a band that has "shitty music"?
ReplyDeleteWere their songs from this past year single sales? this list only covers single sales, not album or anything like that
ReplyDeleteAre you making multiple accounts to thumb up your comments?
ReplyDeletebut they have beat a tonne of records they set as 5 and have higher sales apart from the inflated 2010 sales. They are more successful in japan than ever, stay mad
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOO burn burn!!! @twitter-394954092:disqus
ReplyDeleteDo you see that??
Only Dumbass vips liked your comment. Even though it is totes false.
Big band lmao xD
ReplyDeleteBig bang won artist of the year while Dbsk won album of the year so stfu.. Big Bang got all kills cuz they sold better digitally. while tvxq sold wayyyyyyyy better physically, which brings in a lot more money.. The general public likes/knows Big bang's songs more than dbsk but they know/acknowledge and love dbsk too (not necessarily for their music) since they were the pioneers of the 2nd wave of kpop idols after much-loved h.o.t and achieved big things outside of korea (in japan) for the first time with Boa
TRUTH DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE SAID
.. arrogant BB fans going around saying crap about dbsk just cuz they aren't as big and together now.. you think popularity lasts forever ? Wait till BB lose their popularity too (cuz everyone eventually does, no one stays on the top forever) and people say that BB never dominated korea and you'll know how it feels then
I love both BB and DBSK cuz they both have achieved great things and both groups are so talented, so I don't understand why vips always have to shove in people's faces(esp Cassies) that BB is the best there will ever be and are better in every way.. cuz they're not, so stop (neither is dbsk, in fans eyes their bias is always the best)
This Big Bang Fan is Butthurt.
ReplyDeleteBig Bang never beat TVXQ when it comes to Physical Album sales, their fourth album ‘MIROTIC’ sold a total of 600,857, Big Bang never achieved such a high number not even with thier Recent Album and don't give me that 'only their fans care' crap lol it makes you sound so ignorant, aren't VIPs a strong fandom too? i thought they're the 2nd large Fandom in Korea after Cassiopeia, then why they don't help thier group Beat TVXQ?? LOL
Both big bang and tvxq are better than kara so don't be angry
ReplyDeleteOh, I see...So then, their only Japanese debut songs are listed. This is quite well.Since they already give 6 dome concerts in Japan in 2 months, if they would release a new Japanese single, they could sell well.Thank you for information.
ReplyDeletei don't care
ReplyDeleteat the end Cassies will win i mean they already won check the sales please xD TVXQ are The K-pop royalty. LOL
ReplyDeleteand i heard that they broke their own record recently too
ReplyDeleteNot really, they had popularity with the public while tvxq has a hardcore fan base. Judging by karas recent flops and tvxq's continued success, a loyal fan base is worth having because it protects you when the general public lose interest. Anyway tvxq have sold more and had bigger tours, they're more successful overall and have sustained their popularity over a longer period of time. Karas was strong but fleeting
ReplyDeletei'll tell why..Coz they're butthurt..They can't accept the Fact that TVXQ still called Kings, Gods, Legends of K-pop and Big Bang aren't xD
ReplyDeleteWell, they actually promoted while SJ didn't.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, they did great!
What surprises me is SHINee. I thought they were more popular than SJ in Japan.
Great to see SHINee at number 6!
ReplyDelete2PM!!!<3 they're seriously killing it over there and its only barely been 2 years^^
ReplyDelete
