How can he be called the same soldier as them?

ReplyDeleteMy biggest concern about my favs going to the army is not being unable to see them for almost 2 years. But that they will fuck up and ditch on their service every chance they get o.O Thus gaining hate from the public and losing peoples respect(including mine)
ReplyDeleteI really, really hope that when my bias does his military service, that he enlists as an active duty soldier and just does his duty as a citizen. I don't know if that sounds demanding or like it's none of my business, but if I'm being honest, I'll be upset if he doesn't.

ReplyDeleteIdk who which athletes your specifying too but I want to mention that some athletes (like Olympians) totally deserve the exemption. They train like all year long & for x-amount of year (if not most of their life). && also SOME athletes train all year long.. so basically it's like they're in the army already.

ReplyDeleteOnly athletes that win medals can be exempted from the army and even then they still have to do the basic training. I think they've done enough at that point that people can't really complain.

ReplyDeleteathletes also have to spend about a year and a half as a trainer/coach if they choose to not go to the army so it's not like they're exempt from everything. they still have their own duties to fulfill for their country.

ReplyDeleteA normal citizen has do his service and return to his normal life, without getting any singled out praise Like celebrities do yet they act like right chicken heads with their musical duty and over dramatized TV appearances.
I think celebrities like Rain, Leeteuk & Heechul deserve the hate their getting.
i agree that rain should be vilified if he really did skip out on his service but at the same time it does make me wonder; how many of his korean haters are going to jump back on the 'world star's' pedestal when he ends his service and continues bringing recognition to korea. people are fickle and he has no right to call himself a soldier.

He answered "I'm sorry, but I'm here as a soldier, not an actor, I will only answer military related question"
because military officers always make him entertain/perform even when he's sick

ReplyDeletei think it really is unfair to critisize rain soo much without knowing the whole story..as they say there are always two sides to the story and we should not jump into conclusion so early..i guess they shoud wait, till the ministry investigates into the matter and explains what really happened!! and eventhough what rain did was terrible against the rule,i think the whole matter has been blown out of proportion just because he is dating kim tae hee...and also it is not right to compare Hyun Bin and Jung ji hoon especially when the former has been in the positive light and the latter is in a total mess now...it is like adding fuel to the fire..just let us give the guy a break for now till we know the true story!!

Also an athlete almost suspends his life to train for the Olympics 24/7 and not all of them get a medal...

Rain has been annoying me ever since he pushed his enlistment until the very last minute. Every one of his projects in 2010/2011 was pegged his "last project before enlistment". It got the point where you asked when the hell was he actually leaving?? And then he enlists as "active duty" but skips out on his service? I kind of can't help but agree with netizens.
