  16. LOL yeah I have crooked front teeth but I can't afford braces... yet... and it pisses me off. I get irritated with stars who have the money to fix their teeth and don't. But that's just an insecurity I face and at the same time i can understand why those jpop idols don't fix their teeth cause maybe they don't want to change and they like/accepted how they look....sometimes crooked teeth can be cute. Plus that's is just their beauty standard in Japan :)

  18. I think that if the crookedness of their teeth aren't that severe, it
    would be cute. Like Yoon Eun Hye's two front teeth sticks out a bit but
    I think it's kinda cute on her and gives her character instead of
    having everything be perfect.

  26. no its just becuz that pic was taken during the mirotic era when he had to be extra tanned the whole time. the dark skin therefore made his white teeth contrast and appear super white

    I heard that some women in Japan have their teeth changed to look like Itano Tomomi's. It is considered as cute, and cuteness is most important there.

  37. some of it probably.... but those are probably the ones thats been eaten by cavity or what other, the rest were trimmed (yes they do that I had two of my teeth trimmed after a root canal and I had a jacket...) and whitened.

  39. 'Cause they're veneers, thus not his real teeth. His real teeth are hiding behind it (or covered by it). If you watch him laugh and tilt his head back, you can see the crooked backs of of his upper teeth.

  47. SNSD were reeeeeally different back then, I always see people talking about how they did so many plastic surgeries but I think I really never saw photos like that before. And their fans normally don't show photos of it or comment about it, maybe they want to protect them.

  67. Well, clearly if there is a medical problem, or they are in pain because of it then they should fix that, but being too perfect with no faults also becomes boring.
    Little faults make them more unique and cute imo.

  71. Some of these people's entire gum line looks different like Hwang Jung Eum. It certainly makes a big difference. Anyway I have no problem with getting your teeth fixed. It's not a big deal. Some of the celeb's looked fine before though. I always found Yunho's teeth cute. Ever since he changed he looks more manly.

    Just cuz your culture think straight teeth are a must doesn't mean other cultures give a damn about it. There are plenty of idols and j-celebs with straight teeth but for others, their yaeba is a charm point
    Some culture like curvy women while others think skinny is the best and think "chubby" is not attractive. Get it?
