  1. Well a concert is one thing, but what venue? They sound even more irrelevant than some nugus so chances are it's like a 50-seat hall or something.

  3. I can't help but to compare this with B.A.P's announcement of a 2 day concert.

  4. How are they gonna get enough songs to actually perform for 1.5 hours though? Cover songs? Do they even have a enough fans to do this? It might depend on the venue I guess but it still doesn't make much sense to me.

LMFAO XDD For those that don't know, Arirang is a folk song. If Korea were able to have two national anthems, Arirang would be the second one. It's kinda equivalent to "My Country Tis of Thee".

  6. Lol BAP released a bunch of songs so that they can have a concert

  7. cuz im A+ so ijust make my statement Mblaq concert is 3 year from the debut...now i see a lot of rookie have their 1st concert... idk how to feel

  8. Boa is having her first real solo concert this year...

  9. What's even more sad is that BoA isn't even holding it in the large venue but the same one B1A4 had their concert in and BAP will too.

  10. I...I just...why? e_o

  11. Ironic group name tbh since I have no idea what are their names....or even who they are....:/

  12. Way to early for this shit.

  13. I love BAP and all but no. Just because they released a bunch of songs doesn't mean they can have a concert. Yes, I'm sure they might be able to pull off a concert with so many released songs but you need experience for it.

    1. Well, they've held a showcase AND a concert for 1st Baby day. Both shows were good and were filled with +3000 people. They're good performers (especially considering they're still rookies) so I think there's nothing to worry about.

  14. Extremely talented rookies who debuted with an amazing dance track in 2011.

  15. The concert will be about 30 minutes long if they only released 2 singles.

  16. the audience will be filled with vietnamese, thais, and indonesians

lol Plus one to whoever made this comment. I don't even think they have a big fanbase and this company dare to make them tour korea?? Do they think idol can have it easy and just raise to fame riding the kpop wave?
They can sing their 2 songs, do a bunch of cover songs, don't forget the cross dress, and sing arirang. lol

  18. They can do cover songs from past boy groups, cross dress and sing girl groups song, play games with the attendee. Have Q&A session. <.< wait doesn't that sounds like a fanmeet? lol i dont know anymore what's the difference between large scale fanmeet and concert .

  19. I got miffed about ppl bitching about b1a4 holding their concert, but they at least have had 3 minis and a full album, so they had plenty of material. A group with 2 singles? The Arirang commenter made me lol.

  20. it's a famous folk song from ages ago.

  21. Wow MYNAME only has 2 singles???? How can their company even think of throwing a concert.... Now as much as I love them I thought B.A.P was jumping the gun a bit too soon with having a solo Korean concert but compared to MYNAME, B.A.P has a pretty decent number of songs to perform (also throw in some solo stages) & can easily bring in 3000-4000 fans looking at the results from their 1st Baby Day. I'm not sure how MYNAME has been doing in terms of popularity or sale in Korea but to have a concert with such little material leaves many questions unanswered.

  22. wow. 2 singles and they want to hold a concert.

    Hahaha~ xD

  24. first in Korea, she has held many in Japan

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm guessing they will be covering songs by other artist at their concert or else it will be the shortest concert in history.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well BAP has enough songs. They released 5 singles + the extra songs that are on their multiple mini-albums. Plus, in most idol concerts, they tend to do covers of other songs as well. (Eg. SMTOWN's tik tok, like a g6 etc)
    They'll have enough.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes exactly B.A.P will have enough not so sure about MYNAME.

    ReplyDelete
  28. true, she had concerts in Japan but all were hold in small venues.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Lol no, Indonesians are too poor to fly just for watching some nugus in korea.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Err not to be rude, but who r they?n what are they going to sing after they sang 2 of their singles?well it also depend on the venue n how many people,is nt it better to have fanmeet instead?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Having a solo concert in Korea isn't just about having enough songs to do it or being able to fill the venue; the significance behind it is even greater than those factors. Holding a solo concert in Korea implies that you've reached a certain point in your career where you're successful and have accomplished many things. The idea of rookies/nugus holding concerts is almost insulting and extremely pompous to them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. this would usually be called a showcase but they are calling it a concert to look cooler and important i guess? o.O the venue is where infinite H held their showcase, where lee seunggi celebrated his bday with fans haha
if we go by myname's agency i guess every artist that had a showcase/fanmeet in korea has had his 1st concert already and every artist that has had multiple showcases/fanmeets overseas had concert tours in asia..

    ReplyDelete
  33. It looks like they are trying to gain some popularity with the B.A.P first concert annoucement.
But I don't see any problem in rookies have concerts, they will make some money and they will gain some experience.
I understand the B.A.P kids, they're pretty popular and they have plenty of songs already, but Myname, I didn't even know about this one, what they're going to sing?

    ReplyDelete
  34. ...rokies nowadays have it way too easy

    ReplyDelete
  35. Who are they again?

    ReplyDelete
  36. She may have not held a performance in Tokyo Dome but she filled Saitama Super Arena for 30.000+ audiance and gave many concerts ranging between 12.000 to 20.000 audiance.

  37. in Europe, most of singers perform on stage before officially releasing first single. Stage is the better place to meet audience and maybe there are more interested with a concerts career rather than a tv career.
I was honestly quite shocked when I saw that most of kpop group don't hold a concert within at least 2-3 years after debut (sometimes more) it doesn't make any sense to me.

    ReplyDelete
  38. hey, if they got the money go for it. Maybe they'll win some people over. I can't name not a one of their songs, but i wish them luck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I know people are comparing this to BAP's case, but it's different. Firstly, BAP had, like, 7 singles in the past year and released about 18 songs, excluding the ones that will be released in February on their next comeback.
In second place, BAP has a growing fandom, their official cafe numbers proves it. Although we know their fandom is more composed of international fans than Korean fans. Also, They will make 2 shows on a considerably small venue that supports 3,500 each day.
Since they already held a concert for 4,000 fans, with 15 songs, i guess they will do ok

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, guess you should wait to see how they will handle the show first before judging. Give them some credit

    ReplyDelete
  41. Really, it's a concert for 3,500 fans, how is dat insulting? I am sure BOA won't have only 3,500 fans in the audience of her shows

    ReplyDelete
  42. Again, it's not about the size of the concert but the connotations behind holding a solo concert. They could've done a showcase with the same amount of fans and they wouldn't have gotten any heat for it.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'm not judging anything here. I'm only voicing out my opinion like you did. They should gain more experience from doing showcases.

    ReplyDelete
  44. But B.A.P's performances are on par with thoseof veteran groups. I think they have all the experience they need to hold their own solo concert.

But you're entitled to your own opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm sure they have the potential to pull of the concert successfully; if not, why would the company invest so much on them C:

  46. what a weird group name.....
