Article that looks at how the rock genre is being used in the music industry. Jaejoong is used as an example of pursuing the genre to change things up from his usual style, while CNBLUE is used as an example of idols categorized as rock. Moon Hee Jun and others are used as examples of artists who were originally rockers but stepped away from the genre for something easier to gain the public's attention.

1. [+134, -21] CNBLUE is just an idol with a rock concept, who would call them a rock group

2. [+115, -19] CNBLUE's just pop. I remember in Radio Star when Kim Do Kyun totally silenced CNBLUE and a Trax guitarist with an impromptu performance. Judging by how amazed CNBLUE was, I haven't considered them a rock band since.

3. [+73, -6] They're all just mainstream pop... There isn't any traditional rock anymore.

4. [+75, -10] Hell, even Han Seungyeon came out with a song calling it rock

5. [+69, -15] Sounds like an article put out for CNBLUE. The reason CNBLUE gets bashed isn't rocket science. They called themselves an indie band but debuted with a song someone else wrote for them that ended up being plagiarized. I don't really care for their talent because it doesn't matter at all if your music ends up sucking. I'm just saying, don't call yourselves an indie band and then brag about including a few songs you wrote yourself in your album. Isn't that to be expected? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be bashed to this extent if they stopped trying so hard with the indie concept.
