This article is legit talking about her music video being featured on allkpop and allkpop readers raving over it, leaving comments like, "An amazing dance and music video!" and "She looks like Madonna!" Not trying to cut her hype, but I'm pretty sure she has hook ups with allkpop considering she sent in a video message for them over Christmas.

I know a lot of ppl who have no idea who sori is but really like her song. And girl can dance. Her company sucks shit which is what holds her back sadly

ReplyDeleteIf K-netizens want an honest opinion from a random K-Pop fan, here it is: I don't like the song. She's very pretty, she knows how to work the camera, but that's all. The song sounds basic to me and is very forgettable.
She didn't even get that great of a response on allkpop and they love irrelevant people there.

ReplyDeleteI find it very funny that netizens would take allkpop seriously. Most kpop fans I know really dislike the site and stopped going on it now there are better alternatives for non-Korean speakers.
ReplyDeleteThe reaction to Kim Sori's MV was generally "she's pretty", "the song is a bit boring", etc... nothing particularly negative but nothing outstandingly positive either. There was no explosive response, that's for sure.
'Explosive response' on Allkpop doesn't mean 'explosive response' overseas lol. I read the comments and it's nothing really positive "How to clean the floor with your body" lmao, is this positive?

I tend to skip reading the comment sections full of fanwars (I think you know which articles I'm talking about) because I just don't even know where half of these people are coming from. I hope that they think NB is some new fad and leave once they don't see what they're looking for because I thought we had a nice community here going before the onslaught of scandals that brought in a wave of new readers.

ReplyDeleteTeasers promised us much more sensual, hardcore stripper-ish action and first 50 seconds of the MV were an incredible adventure for me but then, that mood of anticipation kinda disappeared with the basic choreo and displeasing boring video.

Actually the comments on NATE are a fair reflection of the general opinion of k-netizens, as opposed to k-netizens who are solely focused on idols.

If that was the case, why do people love Daft Punk, Adele( even though I think she is beautiful), and Lady Gaga. Jeez, you need something like talent and if you don't have that at least some connections and STAGE PRESENCE. So many idol performances come across as high school talent show performances.
