Article: Selena Gomez says she's okay after breaking up with Justin Bieber
Source: TV Daily via Nate
1. [+122, -2] Justin Bieber did drugs and had sex with another woman;; Seriously, if he were a Korean celebrity, his career would be over
2. [+73, -2] Pity that he's so handsome but doesn't know how to manage himself
3. [+66, -1] I thought Selena Gomez just hated him for no reason at first but now I'm glad they broke up. It'd be difficult to sustain anything knowing that he did drugs and slept with another woman.
4. "The part about Justin Bieber doing drugs is just a rumor... Korean journalists really need to stop copying and pasting news from unconfirmed sources...ㅠㅠ"
5. "It'd be unfair for a hero like Justin Bieber to be satisfied with one woman."
6. "The parts about Justin Bieber are all unconfirmed rumors. Journalists, please stop copying Hollywood gossip unless you want to be reported for defamation."
7. "It's okay, she can date Psy instead."

Article: Mariah Carey 'brave exposure' fashion that exposes her chest and stomach
Source: Newsen via Nate
1. [+179, -5] What I'm personally jealous about foreigners is that even if they're overweight, they don't let themselves get intimidated and expose themselves confidently and freely. I'm just jealous that people are so open minded and natural about it there.
2. [+90, -4] She can only dress like that because she's in America. Try this in Korea and you'd be hated on.
3. [+25, -7] How is that stomach 'fat'? Having a fat stomach means you have rolls that slosh around when you move... Korean journalists are always calling foreigners fat when they're just glamorous ㅡㅡ
4. [+8, -0] Wouldn't she be considered skinny in America
5. [+7, -1] Only our country is obsessed with stomach fat... Nobody probably even cares about her outfit in America -_-
6. [+4, -1] Hell, we're a country that even calls Suzy fat
7. [+3, -0] Couldn't even dream of dressing like that in Korea ㅡㅡ You'd be lucky to get away without rocks getting thrown at you

Telzone: Idol singer who touches his own fan's breast like it's no problem
"America's elementary president Bieber. Here he is kissing another fan... but wait, where is his hand placed??? Why this little...! She kind of looks like an overweight Selena Gomez;; Perhaps that's why his hand moved into position out of habit....?
Although the fan clarified that it just "looks like that" in the picture... I think it's quite obvious he was touching her breast;;;"
1. [+75,] Oh yeah, sure... He's not touching her breast at all... Just momentarily holding a lump of fat for her in case it's too heavy to carry...
2. [+35] What a perverted young boy. I can now see why he was chosen as the #1 bubble star.
3. "It's obvious reading the comments here that nobody knows a thing about Hollywood. The reason Bieber is so popular is because he's known for his manners towards not only his fans, but also his paparazzis. He never let his popularity get to him and has been consistent since his debut, which is why his real fans never leave."
4. "His hand is clearly grasping the breast."
5. "The fan looks like she's enjoying it. No need for netizens to get up in arms over it if she's enjoying it."
6. "What's Kim Jong Min doing there?"
7. "Pity that he's gone from being known as a child prodigy during his debut to this.. He has so many antis now because he's seen on the same level as a Korean idol over there."
-

LMAO bieber oh bieber.
ReplyDeleteif he was a korean idol, his career will be over in an instant lolol.
i liked him years ago when he was just covering songs on youtube but now... urgh fame got to his head.
I laughed at the comment where it said burners manner to the paparazi and it's unfair for a hero like Justin to be satisfied with 1 woman I hope that was a joke
ReplyDeleteThat's a fan? o___o; I thought it was his new girlfriend..
ReplyDelete"4. [+8, -0] Wouldn't she be considered skinny in America"
ReplyDeletelmaoooooo i can't breathe
Well, she wouldn't be considered "fat" either... In Korea you're either fat or skinny. In America there's: anorexic, supermodel, thin, skinny, healthy, curvy, chubby, fat, overweight, pregnant, baby weight, obese, and grossly obese.
ReplyDeleteAs of 2012, 2/3rds of America's population is either overweight or obese. I think this is really sad.
http://frac.org/initiatives/hunger-and-obesity/obesity-in-the-us/
yes, i know. that's why it's funny, they are throwing shade based on their standard.
ReplyDeletelol sadly it's true.. I'm average in america but when I go back to China.. I'm one of the fatter ones and I can't even find pants my size -_-
ReplyDeletebieber's fame is already fading. one direction are selling better than him now.
ReplyDeleteWhy is there a mention of Kim Jong Min's name there? Curious...
ReplyDeleteI think the fan's face LMAO
DeleteKorea cares more about Justin doing drugs than we do.
ReplyDelete7. "It's okay, she can date Psy instead."
ReplyDelete^^ lmao
Skinny would be before thin.
ReplyDeleteBieber a child prodigy HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH
ReplyDelete"What I'm personally jealous about foreigners is that even if they're
ReplyDeleteoverweight, they don't let themselves get intimidated and expose
themselves confidently and freely. I'm just jealous that people are so
open minded and natural about it there."
Mariah Carey is overweight? Even by technical standards? Wow...
And Justin's a perv. And that poor fan girl is totally comfortable with his sexual harassment LOL
i'm sure they're throwing shade at america's obesity, nothing to do with korea's standard.
ReplyDeleteJustin Bieber did drugs and had sex with another woman;; Seriously, if he were a Korean celebrity, his career would be over
ReplyDeleteseungri and g-dragon did fine...
"It's obvious reading the comments here that nobody knows a thing

Umm didn't he made a hugeee deal and yelled and flipped off the paparazzi on his birthday or something? I remember reading about it. And then one time he was with Selena and he got pissed off at the paparazzi and then his shoe fell off while he was busy chasing them around.
I don't follow him so I don't know what else happened but I'm sure he's not "known for his manners towards" the paparazzi.
I wasn't trying to list them in any particular order. Pregnant would probably have to fall between healthy and curvy, I think.
ReplyDeleteI think he beat up a paparazzi and got really mad at a photographer who was taking his picture when he got pulled over by a cop for speeding. LOL.
ReplyDeletedude, seungri had sex, not cheating with his famous gf
ReplyDeleteDidn't one paparazzi died recently while chasing Justin Bieber?
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't the cop arrest him for beating up the paparazzi? LOL
Seungri and G-Dragon didn't do both at the same time.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ netizens having the audacity to tell Korean journalists not to post rumors and things from unconfirmed sources. When it comes to a Korean celebrity, all you need to do is breathe wrong for netizens to tear you down and accuse you of this or that, yet for Justin Bieber suddenly netizens want journalists to grow a conscience SMH.
ReplyDelete"Just momentarily holding a lump of fat for her in case it's too heavy to carry..."
ReplyDeleteHolding a lump of fat. LOLOL. /dead
I LOLED haha
ReplyDeleteI can't get over their fascination about American "standards" and "non judgmental views" IF ONLY THEY KNOW.
ReplyDelete"It'd be unfair for a hero like Justin Bieber to be satisfied with one woman."
ReplyDeleteHero Bieber to the rescue. Maybe he was trying to rescue that fan's breast from the confines of her dangerously loose shirt.
"The part about Justin Bieber doing drugs is just a rumor... Korean journalists really need to stop copying and pasting news from unconfirmed sources...ㅠㅠ
ReplyDeleteLOL WTF. No there is actually legit proof of him smoking weed... I find it funny...really... Complete opposttes we are...ifans would do anything to defend their Oppars and knetizens would do anything to defend american celebs....so I call for a switch!!
So they, acknowledge that people not in their country have more individual liberty to be themselves, yet they basically shit on their own celebrities for less. I can't....
ReplyDelete[+90, -4] She can only dress like that because she's in America. Try this in Korea and you'd be hated on. - This statement itself is just sad tbh.
Look at the eunji situation, what she did was dumb, but honestly I was surprised that the situation escalated that far, i've seen korean driving and barely anyone obeys their traffic laws over there.
Also, The voice of a generation-Mariah Carey stays flawless. When will your fave create a christmas song that will be sung for generations to come and keeps santa relevant at the same time.
oh god! I guess Koreans believe that all non-Asians are giant obese pple!
ReplyDeleteProbably because the paparazzi pretty much are stalkers who invade the private lives of the famous. If you've seen videos of paparazzi crowding around, chasing after cars, stepping in front of cars, saying demeaning stuff to get some sort of reaction, you can see the danger that they put the people they're following in. I don't get mad at stars for getting angry at the paparazzi.
ReplyDelete"1. [+179, -5] What I'm personally jealous about foreigners is that even

SHADE. Major shade, and done so flawlessly too. Just A+
netizen buzz.. youre amazing! still thanking you for doing this.. its so interesting.
ReplyDeletei guess you guys arent familiar with asian culture.. cuz let me tell you.. relatives, mom, cousins, friends, dad will ALWAYS be the first to tell you if you are gaining weight, if you are fat.. etc. there is always a constant reminder from them.
ReplyDelete"He has so many antis now because he's seen on the same level as a Korean idol over there."
ReplyDeletehey this is for all you i-fans who cannot swallow this idol concept in korea.. how they are viewed there.... korean idols in korea... are viewed as how majority of you i-fans look at beiber..
"It's obvious reading the comments here that nobody knows a thing about Hollywood. The reason Bieber is so popular is because he's known for his manners towards not only his fans, but also his paparazzis. He never let his popularity get to him and has been consistent since his debut, which is why his real fans never leave."
ReplyDeleteNah, clearly this guy/girl doesn't know a thing about Hollywood. The reason he's so popular is because his music and appearance targets young girls who have no control over their hormones/emotions. He's known for being a douche to the paparazzi and non-celebrities, really (obviously his fans are an exception). His real fans never leave because just as is it in Korea, "oppa can never do wrong! he's so godly~"
[+4, -1] Hell, we're a country that even calls Suzy fat
ReplyDeletegot that right netz ^^
"..He has so many antis now because he's seen on the same level as a Korean idol over there."
you just knew?
It's interesting how well aware they're about their obsession with weight/youth in their country while talking about foreign celebrities. Yet they don't do much to change the situation. The double-standards in these comments are unbelivable.
ReplyDelete1. [+179, -5] What I'm personally jealous about foreigners is that even if they're overweight, they don't let themselves get intimidated and expose themselves confidently and freely. I'm just jealous that people are so open minded and natural about it there.
ReplyDeleteAnd then they bashed an actress because she has fat body...
Mariah is flawless regardless of what size she is. She's a legend so it really doesn't matter what people think of her because she's in the history books for life.
ReplyDelete[+4, -1] Hell, we're a country that even calls Suzy fat
ReplyDeleteAnd i-fans have jumped onto the boat for whatver disgusting reason.
It makes me happy to see them acknowledge the weight problem in Korea, but I doubt anything will change as usual
Perhaps "prodigy" is a bit of an exaggeration but come on, he's a really talented kid.

If I'm not mistaken he never had any formal classes (at that time) because his family couldn't afford them.
It's true, but it still kinda hurts.
ReplyDeletetouché.
ReplyDeletethe paparazzi are douche is general they try to blame him for a death when we wasn't even there
ReplyDeleteThe paps are douche and get no sympathy from the general public. look at the reaction when the paps died chasing bieber car when he wasn't even there. Also just watch other video of the paps going after celebs. there stalkers in general
ReplyDelete6. "What's Kim Jong Min doing there?"
ReplyDeleteNow that I thought of it, she did look like KJM a little...
I guess, if you take it personally. But they only tell you that you're gaining weight because they're concerned. When you put on weight, unless you have some sort of thyroid problem or you're pregnant, it usually means something negative is going on. Whether you're partying too much (beer makes you fat) or comfort eating or getting fast food all the time because you're so busy... That sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm a first generation Chinese-American; a lot of my American friends get shocked when my mom visited me at my dorm and told me that I look like I've put on weight (which I totally did... 7 pounds after two months... definitely bad). But I know she's just concerned about me. A few days after she visited, I got a care package from home filled with recipe cards and my favorite healthy Asian snacks (that I can't get anywhere unless I take an hour-long bus ride), and some money to buy new running shoes. ^_^
Yeah... The paparazzi that died was standing in the middle of a road at night and a truck hit him. :/ I think that's really sad, but it's one of the many dangerous things about being a paparazzi.
ReplyDeleteUnless someone calls 911 during the time he beat the paparazzi up, the cops can't arrest him unless the paparazzi decides to press charges... They usually don't because celebrities can always counter-sue and accuse the paparazzi of invasion of privacy and/or trespassing.
True, but all of my cousins are less than 100 pounds, and I only weigh 130. So I'm the fat one in my family. Even when I was exercising and dieting I was only 120.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's not.
^ THIS!
ReplyDeleteThey're a bunch of hypocrites lol
"The part about Justin Bieber doing drugs is just a rumor... Korean journalists really need to stop copying and pasting news from unconfirmed sources...ㅠㅠ"
ReplyDelete"The parts about Justin Bieber are all unconfirmed rumors. Journalists, please stop copying Hollywood gossip unless you want to be reported for defamation."
So they care when journalists posts "rumors" or articles with "unconfirmed sources" from america, but when it comes to korea they just run with whatever they're given? Oh the hypocrisy lol
Odd. My family and the families of my other friends who are some type of Eastern Asian (Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, Okinawan, Korean, etc.) don't really encounter that sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteYou have your "normal" weight, which is the weight you should be if you are healthy. When you put on weight, that's when your family starts commenting about it. Don't get me wrong, if you somehow go through a growth spurt and suddenly become tall and slender in a year, you'll be praised for it. But you get the idea.
If your diet/exercise regime isn't giving you the results you want, you need to push yourself harder. It helps to work with a trainer or at least with someone who knows what they're doing. You should change your exercise and diet routine every so often (I change mine every 12 weeks) because your body will "get used to" certain amounts of exercise and intaking certain types of food after a while...
It becomes the "new normal", so to speak.
PS: Even if you are the "fat one" in your family, you're definitely not so heavy that you need to be worried about things like diabetes or heart failure. Just slowly start getting into shape, if not for the sake of losing weight, just do it to be healthy! ^__^
I definitely agree that the paparazzi are pretty crazy too. I'm just saying that Bieber is not known for being good mannered towards them.. and not that there's much of a problem since they invade his life. But I'm justs saying whoever wrote that comment is obviously wrong
ReplyDeleteTouche. Outstanding arguments. Keep up the good effort.

lol, Im Indian. But my family can be pretty blunt.
ReplyDeleteBut it's funny how I'm here and my family goes, ur chubby. Then I go to India, and all of my relatives are like, you should eat more. It just goes to show that there is no such thing as "normal," rather its socially constructed.

ReplyDelete^ idk, this comment really touched me.
