Go Eun Ah is kind of an interesting character, at least to me. I think she came on the radar for most people when she kissed her younger brother Mir on the lips on her 'Mnet Scandal' episode, which was a controversial topic for weeks and weeks. Eventually, it pretty much started defining her name/career.
This article calls her out on having no career as an actress per se and using petty scandals to stay relevant/in the media, her most recent being her close friendship with Jung Jun Young.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, I saw that episode of Mnet scandal and didn't see what was the big deal. Some families kiss each other like that and some (including mine) don't. But people were acting like she stuck her tongue down his throat or were even trying to say Mir and Eun-ah had some kind of sexual relationship with each other o_0. There's a huge difference between incest and a quick peck on the lips so wth were people going nuts about?

ReplyDeleteBut the fact that Go Eun Ah is only in the news because of dating scandals or for things completely unrelated to her career as an actress is undeniable. She should just lay low and take a lot of acting classes to make up for all of this. :\
What's the big deal? I mean, I understand that some people might be outraged at the quick peck on the lips becquse of cultural difference (I don't agree with these people, but I respect their opinion) but I don't see what's wrong with her acting career? She's had a few roles and I found her pretty convincing, especially in KPOP - The Ultimate Audition^^
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it seemed like she was piss drunk throughout the whole filming... I don't think she was in her right mind at the time. She made a lot of dumb decisions during that filming that I doubt she'd have done otherwise.

ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me? Eun-Ah is Mir's older sister so it makes sense for her to be overprotective of him. I;m not sure if she was joking or not, but either way sometimes older siblings are like that.

ReplyDeleteAnd to people talking about cultural differences, I beg to differ. I'm Asian, and Asian culture can be quite conservative.. They don't kiss their siblings on the lips. Asian culture is the same as Western's in this aspect..
