he didn't like the basic stuff he thought suju was doing so went on a guess career-long expirament with acting. he is still in sm and sj.

ReplyDeleteWhen Super Junior started out they were meant to be a rotating group. Kibum always wanted to have an acting career, being in the group was good for him to get exposure to help his career.
ReplyDeleteELF became very vocal about Super Junior and stopped SM from rotating members. This made most members very happy except Kibum who never planned to stay with them long-term. Eventually SME allowed him to go MIA to concentrate on acting. That's it. No big conspiracy theory or anything like that.
Kibum is still in good terms with some of them, especially Heechul.
SME couldn't say "Kibum has left the group" because you know how crazy some ELF got in the past about member changes. Maybe SME will make an announcement in the future now that ELF don't care as much.
I forgot to add that Kibum also had a serious family issue years ago, which required him to travel frequently between California and Korea. I don't know what the issue was exactly (family member illness?), but it was making it almost impossible to promote with SJ, That could have been a factor in this too.
