ReplyDeleteI find that weird because Yunho has so much charisma on stage as a singer, but all of that charisma disappears when he acts. If he could at least channel that same aura when he's acting, it really wouldn't be that bad.
He fails to OWN his character. He doesn't get into his character at all. You can tell it's just rote memorization... Any idiot can memorize a script, but it takes talent to take that script, the role, and make the character come to life.
I get about the acting cause it's like u trained to be a lawyer but u become a judge with no qualification but the lawyer degree. Iget it since he had more than 1 chance to prove his acting but failed. (just hope this one will be good) however the look comment was just plain hating. There is no where in hell someone can say yunho is not good looking compare to the actors that's just plaine blind.

Not all awards Yoochun received were Popularity awards. Did you ever heard about Baeksang Art awards?(You should, if you pretend you know something about dramas.If, no, go and google it). Besides the Popularity awards in 2011 and 2012, healso received an award, in 2011, for Best new actor (because of his role in Sungkyunkwan scandal). You definitely can`t say Baeksang jury was biased.....

ReplyDeleteLmao I'm a huge fan of TVXQ but Changmin's acting in Paradise Ranch was arguably the worst. He and Yunho both have the same problem, they over-emote in front of the camera and it comes out unnatural because they're obviously acting as opposed to being in the role itself.

ReplyDeletewatched HTTG for Yunho - don't believe that he was "bad beyond of recovery", still believe the drama itself should had never been made it and what about the other actors? they weren't so much better than Yunho (maybe Lee Yoon Ji, but i am biased). Poseidon - i've never understood why he was in in the 1st place (like Changmin in Athena)

for JYJ fans who came here just and only to pour your hate towards Yunho, be careful what you write 'cause you may end up "biting your tongue"
I know Homin are huge as Kpop idols, but I really can't help feeling like Yunho's such an underdog here. While I'll concede that Yunho's acting in Heading to the Ground was awkward and overdone, he did improve by the later episodes. Instead of harshly criticizing him before this drama actually comes out, why can't we wait and see how much he's improved after watching the drama to actually have something to justify our opinions?
ReplyDeleteYeah. Sulli isn't that good. She was a child actress but the first roll I saw her in (Ballad of Seo-Dong) all she had to do was smile, look pretty, recite lines, and dance a little. Most child actors are picked b/c of their looks. A few exceptions would probably have been Moon Geun Young, Kim Yoo Jung, Seo Shin Ae, and that kid in Baker Kim Tak Goo. With that said it is a bit odd that she entered SME and wasn't picked up by an acting company, because honestly SME isn't known for their actors. Lee Yeon Hee is horrible, and Go Ara is passable
ReplyDeleteBut she's only good for one role hence the type-casting she's been getting. If she quite SNSD and honed her skill as an actress maybe she'll get somewhere in the acting field. People want to see actors and actresses get better and better, not stay the same. She can't get better if she doesn't focus all of her attention on acting while the other rookie actresses can.

ReplyDeleteI think its ridiculous that some fans are going to the extent of accusing another fanbase of leaving these type of netizen comments. Either you are really blinded by your bias or you fail to realize that what makes a drama successful is not how huge a fanbase they have. Sorry to break it to you but despite how large a fanbase the lead actor / actress has, it does not guarantee the drama's overall success.

ReplyDeleteNo I meant they should try for roles that are easier for them to express. I have no problems with Yunho and Changmin acting, I think they can do better, but they'll be criticized endlessly unless SM can give them better roles for them to stretch their acting ability.
