She's not short, she has a very white skin (koreans love it), little nose, good body proportions, good fashion sense etc. many reasons why koreans find her pretty and classy, though some people will disagree as usual. The fact that she has a round face or single eyelid doesn't mean people will dislike it. Many celebrities also have round faces or single eyelids, but as long as it looks good they'll like it. For example Uee or Shin Min Ah.

I'm just saying what I have personally observed both in media and in person. I've always received compliments in Korea and other Asian countries although I'm lacking a few of the criterion; and I think (just imo) it's because I'm not a celebrity.
