ReplyDeleteWhen Bom first was introduced to the public with Lee Hyori in a anycall CF people called her ugly and that she was nothing compared to Lee Hyori. Almost all the comments about her regarding that CF was negative and about her looks. Her first attempts at plastic surgery I can understand she wanted to be a singer but she was getting more attention for her "ugly looks" she probably went under the knife for a boost of self confidence. But every attempt after that was bc she was addicted to Plastic surgery. 2ne1 and YG need to talk to her and make her stop. I just wish that she forgets about the world and has the courage to say one day Bitch I am sexy and hot and pretty and if you dont think so than i dont give an eff.

ReplyDeleteBecause she not only had PS (as in actual surgery) several times, she also has non-surgical treatment regularly. Non-surgical treatment doesn't need any healing time.
ReplyDeleteThis is why her face can look dramatically different from one week to the next, depending on which treatment she did (fillers, botox, collagen or fat injections and others) and on which parts of her face.
Anyway at this point I don't know what can be done other than stop her before she turns into cat lady. Poor Bom.
I personally think she hasn't gotten anything done to her recently and that her plastic surgery she did back in the day is really just messing with her now. When you have a face that is all touched up....it is not going to stay the same. It just her past coming to bite her in the arse. I LOVE her...she is my bias. She is a sweetheart. But i'm not gonna sit here and be like she didn't get plastic surgery...i saw the pics..she got some stuff done. I jsut believe she hasn't gotten anything done RECENTLY because a) doubt YG would allow that and b) she really doesn't have the time. Everyone is making it look like she goes to the doctor every weekend to get something done...please be more realistic....she is a celebrity...a kpop idol who is under constant spotlight.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to be really honest here-- I underwent plastic surgery in Seoul and later worked for plastic surgery clinics doing translation. Korean plastic surgeons are so much more advanced than other surgeons around the world that surgical procedures have a very fast healing time. There's no telling what she could do with even a week of downtime.

ReplyDeletepeople refer to her anycall days as her "pre-surgery" days but she might have gotten ps way before that. we haven't even seen her childhood pictures. when 2NE1 guested in KJE's chocolate, she showed a childhood photo, but it was a baby photo. can't even see her actual features. there's a 2ne1 childhood photo collage making the rounds a while ago but we aren't even 100% sure that's her. and also aside from that one pic of her where she's a little chubby which may or may not also be her, it's like how she looks before anycall debut is a big mystery.
ReplyDeletealso, bom introduced her sister once as the "pretty" sister as if she indirectly refers to herself as the ugly one. so this whole PS thing might not be entirely caused by "netizens' criticisms". she may have had that feeling of insecurity way before, maybe worsened by netizens' comments. if it's all just about harsh comments from people, CL and Minzy have had it much worse but we don't see them going under the knife. Bom mentioned in a recent interview that she was talking to her therapist/psychologist (?) who advised her to wear red lingerie to feel confident, but it might only be about her stage fright. maybe she should also recognize that she needs to feel confident not only on stage but also off stage so she won't feel the need to get PS.

Netizens were quick to call her fat and ugly when she appeared in 'We Belong Together'- look at Bom now. Insecure, feeling unstable, just trying to be someone's idea of beautiful. Don't act high and mighty, trying to get her help- Bom is what you created, and that is the worst part.
Actually, I know some people personally who use botox injection to make their nose bridge taller, v-shaped face and their lips fuller. And the side effect is? Their face becomes stiff, like Bom.
