ReplyDeleteAlso putting in my two cents... the reason I dislike hyuna isn't because i think she's too slutty. I'm all for "if you got it, flaunt it" but it's simply that, that's ALL she has. Her voice sounds Terrible, she can't sing and can barely pass as a rapper. I simply hate the fact that even after all this time she hasn't really put in any effort to improve and only getting by on her looks alone. That would be all fine and dandy if she was in the group. Every group has that one member that is just there to be the face. Suzy in miss a. (Previously) taemin in shinee (he improved though) yoona and like half of snsd. Point is... if she's going to continue this solo thing... the least she could do is have some shame and at least put half as much effort into her singing as she does into her dancing... either that or have some respect for actual artists and not call herself a Singer but a dancer.

She has all the making of a global superstar. She needs better training, better back up dancers (Korean backup dancers are not that good on a global grading scale) and let have her stage. That girl could outdo psy in popularity. The music industry is a race not not a sprint. If she says screw the haters and focus and take control of her career like Taylor swift and Madonna and Lady gaga does that girl will be unstoppable. Liking or hating her has nothing to do with it. ReplyDeleteAgree vocal talents isn't the most important factor for a person to be popular but making the argument that charisma is all it need is dumb. It's a combination of factors from promotion, talent, presence etc.
Adele is all charisma. When she sings her eyes and hands speak volume. She has stage presence without having to move around. And the most important thing was not her voice so much as people liked her songs a lot.
