UGH I ABSOLUTELY LOVE 'I MISS YOU'. Best drama I've seen in awhile, since Reply 1997.
ReplyDeleteI am not Krystal nor Yoona or Jessica fans but really, if you have see them in real life. Yoona is the prettiest. Then Jessica and then Krystal. Mostly my friends who watch SMTOWN Concert and stalk them are also agreed.

ReplyDeleteFor me the best dramas this year are Nice guy, I miss you and Faith. But since I'm not too fond of saeguk dramas (faith) nice guy and I miss you are the one's. Talking about I miss you, I can say the plot is amazing, the acting is BEYOND amazing especially Yoochun's and Yeo Jin Ku's..I am literally left in awe by the amazing potrayal of their characters..they literally spilled their soul into their characters. The cinematography is beautiful..Even the clothes are well fitted with the storyline..Everything is beautiful. When I was telling a friend who isn't even interested in korean drama's about it..I said to her..that i cried not because of how tragic the story is (obviously also because of that) but because of how BEAUTIFUL it is. I hope I will be able to see more of YEH's emoting..As in her acting being more similar to Kim So Hyun's acting..Because Yoochun's and Jin Ku's acting matches perfectly so I'd like to see that with Yeh and Sohyun aswell :)

ReplyDeleteIf you like darker dramas, 'I Miss You' is great. If you like lighter, comedic dramas, 'Reply 1997' is cool. They are both amazing in their respective genres.
'I Miss You' and 'Reply 1997' are starkly different. 'I Miss You' is a LOT darker and heavier, and is almost unrealistic compared to 'Reply 1997'. A lot of the love for 'Reply 1997' came from its everyday stories many people could relate to.

ReplyDeleteYoo Ah In is still the better actor tho. Joongki is good but people are blown away recently only because of kang maru because it was an intense character so it left a big impression. Loving a chracter shouldn't equal judging the actor as the best of the world imo. Yoo Ah In has shown so much more variety and capability in his acting i think he is way ahead.
I can't stand Krystal tbh, her personality is horrible... but there is no denying that she is quite beautiful.

Yoochun is NOT a great actor. Real actors act better than him.

well that's weird..in terms of acting i actually thought yuchun was better. Like someone below said..Kang maru the character was that impressive not JoongKi's acting..if you haven't noticed Kang Maru was expresionless most of the drama..which is not a bad thing considering his character but you can't really compare their acting then. You have to consider the character's prepositions.

ReplyDeleteI will get hate for this but well Joongki went to university for acting, he took academic acting classes, he has many years of experiences while YC was an idol with only 3 years experience, ofcoz SJK has better skills.
ReplyDeleteHowever, there are the reason why netizens were ok with articles comparing them and those comments were high rated (remember netizens hate idol actors), it was because while SJY is such a skill actor and he acts very well, when people watch the drama like Nice Guy they will think, "Wow this actor is awesome, he has a lot of skills, he acts as KMR so well" but then when it comes to YC, there are comments like "I Love Han Jung Woo" "Yoochun is the real Han Jung Woo" "I cant imagine anyone else for this role". Because YC doesnt have a lot of skills and is so new, once he is absorbed in a certain role, he lives like that role, he becomes the character. Because of his raw emotion with just a little skills, people don't feel like he is acting.
Basically they use 2 different methods to act, so it is no use to compare.
I Miss You proves it. that is why netizens are less harsh on YC and praise him more than before. So if one has not watched I Miss You yet, it is really not right to judge him. He just appeared in only 1.5 eps but the reaction is really good, and remember the burden from the best child actor YJG is on him.
Well actually I am a Song Joong Ki and a Yoochun Park fan. So my opinion is objective. If we are comparing solely their Nice guy and I miss you performances..Than I pick Yuchun's in I miss you easily. Both Nice guy and I miss you made it to my favourite dramas list though. And I prefer the Kang Maru character over the Jung Woo character but in terms of acting, Yuchun had a harder job. If we're talking about all the projects they had so far..I pick Song Joong Ki by a mile. Especially his acting in Wolfboy. Nothing can top that performance.

I completely agree..I think I chose the wrong word..Rather than expresionless I could say..neutral? I can't really pick the word but his character didn't have many high's and low's in terms of moodswings..and moodswings = showing his acting ability more..Kang Maru is one of my favourite characters from kdramas though..aswell as Joong Ki..But in terms of comparing (i don't understand why we have to compare in the first place) Yoochun's character had more variety and he was able to portray his acting abilities and his improvement more.

ReplyDeleteYes and i love it!! I really love joongki too. Still prefer YAI as an actor and it's fine if people don't and prefer joongki. I love them both + yoochun. For me those 3 men, the skks trio, are really growing. I'm really impress by yoochun and think he deserve his actor title.
