She seems very well loved for a fading group like Wonder Girls have been inactive for 2 years before and lost a large part of their fandom but Sohee is still a beloved icon. This is one thing I seriously don't get from Korea and knetizens and their tastes over their admiration over Sohee's chipmunk face ;SSSS
ReplyDeleteyes korea adores her. before iu become the darling of the country, sohee was known as nation's sister for the longest time. TELL ME was a HUGE hit in korea, and sohee's "omona!" part of the song was arguably one of the most memorable thing about the song. korea thinks she's cute and they kinda saw her grow up in a sense, so yes she is very much loved there.

ReplyDeleteI find Yoona, Suzy, and Uee pretty yeah they may appear plain but it's the simplicity of their beauty that I like (except for Uee she is not 100% natural). It's just SOHEE face I don't get, her face can look so ratty too and it's that type of face that I can see in a lot of Asian Americans, Americans themselves fawn over when Asia or Korea themselves don't....

Weeks ago, i was watching a drama called vampire prosecutor 2 where they detailed a case with organized mafia-like group t hat stalked and threatened actresses... Followed them to their houses, if they took taxi, at restaurants,etc. Even when the circumstanceswerent the same, i thought of tablo and his family... If they experienced something remotely close to this then i feel deeply sorry fir them...

You forgot 2NE1 who debuted later than them yet in 2 years span caught up to their status and Kara who while their status in Korea is shaky they own Japan-- that country where Wonder Girls tried to get a piece of the cake after their wasted years in America but got low and flop CD sales numbers in return. looool
