Just because I pointed it out in another article (I Miss You), these comments were also written by fans and are being ridiculed by other netizens in the comments because they do read kind of 'ogeul' in Korean, like they're trying really hard to sound like they're not a fan but all evidence points to the fact that they are. He did have a great response overall, with many thinking that his album had a 'Nell' feel to it.

lol There should be something wrong with the fact that Son Dambi is getting criticized because her vocals are not up-to-par with Ailee, given the fact that Son Dambi is Ailee's sunbae, but singing talent >>>>> just sex appeal so it's as it should be, I guess.

Sunggyu's roots have always lied in rock and Nell are his idols. They personally wrote songs for him so I'd hardly call it a waste of an opportunity. On the contrary.

ReplyDeleteI don't understand why some netizens ridicule others for being fans, as if it's a crime to like something and not be a trendy shallow cynic all the time. Yeah, a fan is obviously going to be biased, but they only got that way because the music and artist had qualities that they liked in the first place, so it's a meaningless observation for them to make.

exactly...! just like they say they "dislike" X or Y, other people have the right to like X or Y... its freaking annoying... to me theyre undercover fans because i wont waste my time commenting and commenting about someone i "dislike" that much...
ReplyDeleteSunggyu is actually not my bias though...but anyways, I see what you're trying to say now, but I think he's still trying to find his own style, and this album is almost like an experiment. It's not like he has a clearly defined "Sunggyu style" within Infinite.
