Kang Ho Dong confirms comeback with 'Star King'

Article: Kang Ho Dong confirms comeback with 'Star King'... Schedule being balanced

Source: No Cut News via Nate

1. [+383, -29] I wanted him to make his comeback through Knee-Drop Guru.. Star King is not fun anymore

2. [+282, -28] Star King is really not like what it used to be in the past. The viewer ratings suck.. SBS needs to get rid of Strong Heart and Star King. Just because they've had them running for a while doesn't mean they're good anymore. They need new formats... Anyway, I hope to see him back on KNee-Drop Guru!

3. [+245, -39] Boom: Ah, fu*k, why....

    1. Yeah it's been running since I think late 2006/early 2007. That's the first I heard of it, but I didn't watch it until mid 07 and yeah it was way better back then. It sucks without Kang Hodong though so I stopped watching tbh.

  4. I think they are trying to get the public to warm up to him first. Gauge reactions from his hiatus stemming from a fault.

  5. Hi netizenbuzz. Can I ask what netizens are talking about Gary and Gil?

I mean, why netizens were bashing them before?

The issue with Gil and Gary is a really odd one. Because of strikes at MBC, Infinity Challenge has been on hiatus for a few months now (20+ weeks at least).
In order to make it up to their fans for being gone so long, the Infinity Challenge cast decided to hold a concert, which they called "Super 7".

In the past, all Infinity Challenge concerts and fanmeet type things were hosted by MBC, who took care of all the costs of holding and running these shows. Because of that, they were always free.

This time, it was the members themselves holding the show so everything was coming out of pocket. The company hosting the concert was Leessang company (which Gary and Gil run). The ticket prices were higher, about in the 100-130 USD range, which is pretty comparable to any Kpop concert, really.

However, the Infinity Challenge fans who were used to everything being free bashed Gil and Gary a lot, saying that they were taking advantage of the fans to make money because the ticket prices were so expensive. Therefore, they cancelled the concert and both of them withdrew from any variety shows.
