  1. Oh look, Netizens are ultra-nationalistic wankers too. I'll add that to the list along with bullies, liars, forgers of fake evidence, mob-mentality sheep etc.

  2. At least now they are gaining a bit more relevance with Korean public. And I'm saying this as a fan.
Seriously though, you can never win. If you keep quiet you get hate for not supporting your country. If you speak out you get hate from the other side.

  3. Is it election time in Korea, China or Japan? There has been a surge of all this nationalistic stuff as of late (and yes I know it's nothing new).

  4. lol , i can't never understand netizen , if u don't say nothing u got bashed like kara and then if u say something like this u will get bashed by the japanese netizens

    1. I honestly don't give a shit about what the Koreans have to say about this now as Japan offered to settle but they refused.

Siwon is a big mouth that's always say stuff he (as an idol and an international public figure) shouldn't be saying but this type of stuff is praised so it will keep happening.

I understand Japan did bad things in the past (And so did Korea for that matter) but it's time to move on and grow.

There are idols that love Japan and have many friends in Japan and you will put them in an akward position if this type of nationalism is praised as if it were something good.(I'm just glad that the Japanese general public has a more favorable view of Korea than Korea does of them so there is chance for healing)

    2. If Koreans believe that Dokdo is their land then why should they settle?
And just recently Japan tried to deny the suffering Koreans went through cuz of them, the Japanese government is releasing statements that are angering the Koreans, plus why shouldnt Siwon say what he thinks when there are Japanese artists and officials saying what they think, Kim Taehee said Dokodo is their land before Siwon did abd she also got bashed by the Japanese but that didn't change anything, she just said her opinion like Siwon did, there are still Korean artists going to Japan and being accepted there and before she said what she said there was already an anti Hallyu wave in Japan. I think they have the right to say what they think is right as long as they're not hurting anybody. It's brave them to be honest.

  6. i think if those japanese people saw what siwon's father tweeted, then it would not be just eggs that they want to throw at him.

  7. LOL this is hilarious

Kara don't talk about Dokko -
YOU'RE NOT BEING NATIONALISTIC ENOUGH! DOKKO IS KOREAN! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!

    Siwon talking about Dokko -
YES! YOU'RE AWESOME! DOKKO IS KOREAN DAMN RIGHT!

In the end both side have their nationalistic dumbasses. I still think Japanese in general don't care about Dokko, only their nationalists while in Korea, it's more widespread with this whole Dokko thing, which is understandable from Korea side but still..

BTW~ POP IDOLS AND POLITICS DON'T MIX! YOUR JOB IS TO DANCE, SING, AND ENTERTAIN PEOPLE. IT'S NOT IDOLS JOB TO FREAKING TALK ABOUT GOVERNMENT DOGMAS! STAY OUT OF IT!

    1. Lol, what? O_o
Are you serious? So if I'm a teacher and my job is to teach then I don't get to voice my opinion or talk about politics, sorry to say this but your the one who sounds dumb. He has the right to say whatever he wants just like everyone else and especially if it's not gonna affect anyone. If its like what you say then idols don't have the right to even vote.

I don't remember the exact words but basically Siwon dad went on about how South Korea is the top of the world, they're watched over by the light of Jesus and God unlike North Korea and Japan, and then some craps about how he's disappointed about gay marriage being brought up in US election (which is hilarious considering how his son done alot of fanservice acts that would be considered gay with SJ)

Basically his dad is nut. :|

I think there are some news site that reported about it. You can find it if you google.

    1. That's not exactly everything, for the Japan thing, even though what he said was crazy it seems he said it out of anger towards what mayor Toru Hashimoto said, you can find that at soompi, and I have to agree with Siwons father on that one, except for the God chose Korea thing.
As for what he said about gay rights, well just like u have the right to support gay people, others have the right not to support it, as long as both parties don't hurt them then there is nothing wrong with saying what you think, with issues like that people can't seem to agree on what is right and what is wrong.

here is what Siwon's father said.

  11. I don't care that Siwon's dad comment was about what the major said. I hate when people bring God, Jesus, or religion and in cases like this like say how God chose Korea over NK and Japan. :|

But then I never care much about things religious zealots say in general.

of course u don't care, most people only care about the bad things people do and only remember those and judge them based on it, while ignore all the other good things they do or say.

  13. What i find more interesting is the "i really hate Super Junior" and the "i've had a negative view of Super Junior"

To me the fact that those are like the most liked comments seems more interesting to me....lol

  14. They should settle because the island is just a mask for true problems between these countries.

I do not care to discuss the war crimes because like I said before Korea is just like Japan in that aspect whether they choose to acknowledge it or not (And it always leads to emotional appeals) but all the things the Korean celebrities are getting praised for would get Japanese celebrities in deep trouble.(Many have already been fired for comments about Korea and Koreans)

The "Anti Hallyu" wave is very small compared to the general public's love of Korean actors and acceptance by the younger generations.

I may seem rude but in all honesty I just want everyone to get along better....

    1. Well Siwon didn't bash Japan or say anything mean, all he said is Dokdo is our land, I remember the Japanese artist who got fired made fun of the Hallyu wave and said some pretty mean things.

  15. Siwon is still a jerk and so is his father. I say who cares who's land it is. I hear the fishing is terrible there and its so bad you can't live there. So what is the real value of that place?
