Article: 'Released' Hwayoung, dramatic twist? Kim Kwang Soo "I hope she genuinely realizes.."

Source: Star News via Nate

1. [+2,218, -20] He's using the same media play tactics he used years ago with Nam Gyuri. At the time, he claimed he'd let Nam Gyuri back if she realized her mistakes and turned her into a weird person with the media. And I think it was on Radio Star where he said that they had made up and she was about to return... but that ended up being Kwang Soo's own little charade without taking anything of Nam Gyuri into consideration.

2. [+2,104, -28] The sound of his words are akin to the sound of the shit dropping out of his ass

3. [+2,000, -21] What is he saying, he's totally disregarding all of the bullying Hwayoung had to endure and he's just saying whatever the hell he wants;;; What a horror story

3. [+1,680, -14] I'm getting the determination to try being an anti for the first time in my life

Article: Hwayoung's termination creates 'T-Jinyo', a nuclear bomb-like reaction emerges out of netizens' determination to reveal the truth

Source: TV Daily via Nate

1. [+2,412, -20] T-ara has to be reported to the broadcasting association or the ministry of gender equality and family because school bullying is such a huge problem in Korea right now, how could anyone dare have a girl group that is at the forefront of bullying and bad behavior come out on TV? Everyone needs to report this so that T-ara can't come on TV and influence kids like this.

2. [+2,067, -31] Can't the police investigate this?? The level of torture Hwayoung received, on top of violence...

3. [+1,826, -21] Let's all go join T-Jinyo

Article: Hwayoung's Twitter ambigous confession "Facts without truth" Curiousity goes up

1. [+4,100, -72] Find strength, Hwayoung. There are a lot of fans supporting you..

2. [+3,489, -41] I noticed that Kangho changed his name and has been working as an actor lately. He's trying to pull off the same stunt with T-ara, isn't he. Amazing, quite amazing just how dirty they can be.

3. [+3,231, -36] It's so obvious this is Kwang Soo's pathetic desperation to make money.

Article: T-ara's Japanese staff, "Hwayoung was the only quiet one" Japanese fan response? 'Sympathy'

Source: E-News 24 via Nate

1. [+2,669, -11] What are you going to do now, Kwang Soo? You hated on Hwayoung for saying she had caught the celebrity disease, but look what just came out of Japan?? ㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+2,176, -12] Who do you think is correct? Kwang Soo, who's known for manipulating the media, or a foreigner looking in from the outside? There's a saying that no matter where you go, the bad in you will be seen. Hwayoung, find strength.

3. [+1,995, -10] Translation of the staff's tweet: "When I participated as an interpetor and assistant for T-ara's magazine photoshoot, it was around February at the time. Hwayoung did not talk to anyone and was really quiet. She did not talk to the make-up artists or the members and just did what she was told to do. To our staff, however, she was always smiling. She had the best first impression. We heard that she was a new member so that she might not be accustomed to the situation so we tried our best get her comfortable.. But it's true that Hwayoung looked like she had no strength. Since she was a new member, I thought she was just nervous or used to the members yet.. But it seems that her relationship with them did not get better with time. How pitiful... The majority of the kids that are in variety think they're beautiful and have strong personalities, so it's hard for bright and kind children to survive..."

Article: Fans cancel T-ara concert pre-order tickets, fandom turns their back after Hwayoung's termination

Source: TV Daily via Nate

1. [+2,812, -19] Why would anyone go to their concert? Even if I got a free ticket, I wouldn't even consider it for a second

2. [+2,551, -15] I know what will make T-ara's concert sell out instantly. Plan these special events for the concert: Park Yebbeun's special strip cam show, Eunjung's rice cake feeding game, Hyomin's sugar daddy party, guess Boram's correct height and mental age, and who can break umbrellas the fastest game. In the end, the winner will be crowned 'acting prodigy' with a final contest to see who can pretend to cry and apologize to Hwayoung.

3. [+2,547, -16] If they had admitted that they had made mistakes because they were young and immature, and apologized for those actions and promised to do better, they could've at least earned sympathy. But now, it's so obvious that they're trying to kill off Hwayoung for their own survival. Kwang Soo, you must be thinking that this will go away in a couple months... and you're right, that's probably what will happen, but you have basically just proven that you are nothing but trash to the rest of the world. Don't live like that.

Article: [Exclusive Interview] Kim Kwang Soo CEO "It will be hard for Hwayoung if the truth is revealed"

Source: Ilgan Sports via Nate

1. [+3,287, -43] What kind of CEO is this?... This company is hopeless. He's basically telling her to shut up or expect to get hurt.

2. [+2,793, -34] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Look at him trying to manipulate the media again after Hwayoung dissed him on Twitter ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+2,526, -32] Did he just say he wants Hwayoung to stay quiet ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Article: T-ara's company "Hwayoung refused to perform during live broadcast"

I didn't check if this article was translated by allkpop or anywhere else yet but it's basically saying that Kwang Soo is claiming Hwayoung refused to perform on the July 27th episode of Music Bank. She was originally supposed to sit on a chair and rap, but with just two teams left to get on stage, she flat out refused, forcing Hyomin and Eunjung to memorize her rap in a hurry.

Then on their way back home, she apparently threw her crutches to the floor in front of fans and reporters and threatened to scream when her manager tried to get her back up.

Source: Newsen via Nate

1. [+5,094, -87] If Hwayoung had really thrown her crutches on the ground, fans and reporters would have uploaded it to the internet immediately. Why is he staying quiet on Jiyeon's strip cam, Hyomin's iljin rumors, and all of the other proof shots of the members torturing Hwayoung? Kwang Soo, do you feel good about having tried to turn Hwayoung into a bit** when she was the one being bullied? The more you try to push Hwayoung out of this, the faster T-ara will meet their end.

2. [+4,584, -88] T-ara probably beat her up before she tried to get on stage...

3. [+4,412, -63] Kwang Soo has finally come out with his rebuttals ㅋㅋㅋ I'm going to go crazy laughing ㅋㅋㅋ Because at least I have a brain ㅜㅜ

Article: T-ara-Hwayoung, will their secrets be revealed... Company reveals one secret as a warning

Source: OSEN via Nate

1. [+2,951, -32] Determination Kwang Soo, let's hear some of those dozen secrets, shall we?

2. [+2,901, -38] There are two known bullies in the group, and he's trying to say that all six of them were bullied by ONE new member??? LOL...

3. [+2,785, -35] Reveal your proof then because we have tons of proof of the counter side.

Article: T-ara Boram Hwayoung, unfollowed a year ago... "Nothing to do with bullying"

Source: Star News via Nate

"Boram and Hwayoung got into a fight a year ago on SBS Inkigayo and Hwayoung yelled at Boram to the point until she cried. That day, Boram unfollowed Hwayoung."

1. [+1,711, -30] So he basically proved that they've been bullying her since a year ago. Boram's 27 years old, does she really want to be acting like this at her age? Just because she's short as a midget doesn't mean her mental age can be as low as it wants.

2. [+1,555, -19] Unfollow is Hwayoung's fault, Hyomin forgetting her lyrics is Hwayoung's fault, being bullied is Hwayoung's fault, they're saying everything's Hwayoung's fault

3. [+1,527, -20] So dirty. They're turning the victim into the attacker ㅋㅋㅋ I have nothing to say to that ㅋㅋ When does Kwang Soo's media play end?ㅋㅋㅋ I feel so bad for Hwayoung, but this is actually for the better! Find strength, Hwayoung

-

Article: "Jiyeon's attitude problems were caused by Hwayoung" Company reveals it isn't the first time Hwayoung acted out

Source: Newsen via Nate

1. [+1,638, -24] They seem to be thinkng they can treat her any way she wants in the media now since she's been terminated from the company. Core is going to fail soon anyway so let's all just wait.

2. [+1,486, -17] It's obvious Kwang Soo is getting desperate now.

3. [+1,072, -20] I'm just waiting for the part where he blames Hwayoung for Jiyeon's strip cam

  3. Lol. I was waiting for your Compilation! I just hope these netizens do followthrough. Haha. Bullying should not be tolerated and so should all this bullshit being sprouted out by kks & ccm.
I feel for hwayoung though cos she can't do anything cos her twin's still with ccm. When kks said to think abt who might get hurt should she speak up, im pretty sure he was referring to hyoyoung. I hope their parents could actually do soemthing abt this like get a very good lawyer and save them from further abuse and mudslinging in media.
Lastly, t-error should go down. Let them taste their own medicine.

  10. I must say that I am actually a pretty new fan of T-ara. I didn't like them 3years ago when they first debuted. In fact, I don't even know their existence and neither was I bothered in knowing Korean Girl Groups. I always have the impression that they are all plastic and mass-produced to feed the insatiable demand of the commercialized industry. Somehow or rather, I got to like T-ara in late September/October last year. I guess I could attribute this to their constant luck in having hits after hits. I went to Google on them, Youtube their interviews, reality shows, performances, videos, variety shows, talk shows, their songs…and whatever you can name of. I behaved just like how a typical fanatic will craze over their idols. Despite knowing them relatively late, I felt so interested in them that I wanted to know more about them in "real life". Watching their live song performances is just their on screen persona. It was never enough. So I backtracked and I watched Tara Dotcom, Hello Baby and Dream Girls. I even watched Invincible Youth starring only Hyomin, despite my bias being Soyeon. Honestly speaking, I believe people are nice and kindhearted in general. From everything I have known, seen and read on T-ara before all these hooha, I can see how hardworking the girls are, always trying to deliver and show the best of T-ara to people. This is their career, and no doubt they put in so much effort to gain fame and popularity. The entertain industry is dynamic and competitive. Which singer doesn't want to have a stable career and to be loved by fans and people-alike all around the world. From the start when T-ara is supposed to be a 5-member cast, 2 members dropped out, replacing with Soyeon, Boram and Qri. Hyomin, Jiyeon and Eunjung are the ones who are really closely knitted in my opinion. Since they are rightfully the original T-ara. It can be seen easily through their twitter conversation and the most recent star life theatre when the three had a meal together. I am alway jealous how the three of them can be so close to one another. And I wish that all of them are as close to each other. But I also understand that it is inevitable to have cliques in a group. It happens in real life, in our own lives as well. Not to say celebrities, especially in Girl Groups when people have to really stand out or they will just "die off" in this materialistic entertainment industry. Probably everything could have been all well and good, if not for the poor management of the company handling them. It really saddens me whenever the company does certain things that are beyond my understanding towards T-ara. I believe from the start, a group should be a group. Since T-ara debuted with 6 members - Soyeon, Boram, Qri, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Eunjung - they should just let it be. Because they all started out from point Zero, they have sticked through thick and thin together as a group to achieve whatever status they have. And I believe all these hardships are best felt by the 6 of them, who really struggled to shine in this industry. The decision by the company to add new members does not justify all the efforts that has been put in by the 6 of them. Even though I began to like T-ara when they are 7 members, I believe that even with 6, they can do as well. Because judging from their past albums, I actually liked them more. Even though I must admit that Hwayoung did have contributions to the group as well. The Black Eyes album was great, Lovey Dovey was fantastic, and what more is there to say. Hwayoung has proved her worth to be in this group. Honestly speaking, the idea to add in two more person into the group is downright stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I believe it wasn't easy for the 6 of them to open up to Hwayoung and treat her as their own. Nobody in the right frame of mind will be willing to share what they have build over the years, with their own blood and sweat. Why will somebody who did not fight as hard as we had before, join in to share what we've already achieved? I believe at the beginning it will not be easy to accept a new member. We humans are not receptive to new changes sometimes. We are flawed as well. We have our seven sins. We get jealous, we get frustrated, we have emotions. I can understand if Hwayoung has a rocky start in adapting to 6-ara. But I believe over time, having gone through thick and thin with the rest for the next 20months, relationships ought to get better. We are not talking about 20 hours, 20 days or 20 weeks. It is 20 months. And in that 20 months, fantastic albums like Temptastic, John Travolta Wannabe, Black Eyes, Funky Town are produced. And honestly speaking, these albums produced hits after hits, and I strongly believe they helped to build on T-ara's stardom. 7-ara is perfect. Areum and Dani should have never come into picture. If people are saying Hwayoung is bullied, isn't it stupid to add in another two more new members when their fate will more or less be the same since the 6-ara are the "culprits" in question? If 6-ara is unable to accept Hwayoung even after 20 months, why would anybody think they can accept Areum or even Dani readily? And back to the mind games again, the 6 girls will be feeling even more unjustified when 2 more people are coming in to get a free ride on their stardom they've build up. Any normal human beings will be unhappy. The management company constantly threatens their T-ara member statuses with addition of new members, who seems to be a danger to them because they can get replaced anytime. On top of their already packed and tight schedule, I think they are being pushed over and are like damsels in distress, with no retaliating power. Moreover with that little sleep a day, no human beings will be in the right state of mind to think things through. When they have to constantly worry about being replaced, yet still having to put in their 100% in whatever they do, not knowing if whatever they put in is for their own future or helping to pave ways for others. Doesn't really seem rational and logical. It all boils down to how poor management can make or break a person. Maybe that is the stress of a celebrity, for fame and for money. But I don't think it is right for a company to put their subjects through constant worry of being employed or fired. Even when we're no celebrities, we also get selfish at times don't we. We are afraid of people doing better than us, outperforming us, replacing us in our own job/job scope. Every human beings have survival instincts. It is not the issue to dig out what is right or what is wrong. Everybody will have their ups and downs in life. To be able to ride through obstacles, and emerge stronger than before is what matters. Everybody makes mistakes, and everybody learns from mistakes. The worse thing is to make mistakes and never admit, and still continuing making mistakes. I hope as a greater human being, people learn to make judgements based on what their heart tells them, and not be clouded and wavered by rife speculations. The problem with human beings sometimes is we are too nosey in everything. Even though we are the outsiders, we try to act like we are insiders and know-it-all. Sometimes, what is destructive is not the existing problem itself, but the domino effect the problem has created ):

My bias is Soyeon too. I only started liking them early this year and have gotten crazy over them. I watched Hello Baby and getting ready to watch T-ara dot Com. I always thought they were different from the others. They're no doubt hardworking and have strived to be successful in the Kpop industry. I mean, who doesn't want to be successful and be loved by international fans?I seriously think this problem was started off with the CEO himself. He shouldn't have added Hwayoung as the 7th member. Maybe she was better off as someone else in another group OR maybe even a solo rapper?I'm very sure 6 of them weren't very happy with an additional member, especially the youngest one. Plus, they shouldn't publicize their problems on Twitter..They are after all,IDOLS. Sad to say, this might be the end of T-ara with increasing anti-fans and haters. I wished this didn't happen. I'll always remember T-ara as the girl group which caught my attention with their beautiful looks, piquant outfits, catchy tunes and of course, the group which kicked their own member out on the day of their 3rd anniversary.

  13. honestly, i don't see the addition of hwayoung would create such discomfort to the members. they weren't that successful to begin with. look at the wonder girls. i don't think the members have ill thoughts against hyelim and they're like what.. gazillion times more famous than t-ara? seems unprofessional on their part

    ReplyDelete
  14. After all this, there are a lot of T-ara fans who don't care about what the members did hwayoung and keep supporting Hyomin, Jiyeon and the others no matter what >__>

    ReplyDelete
  15. I believe that all the korean groups out there undergone toughships and it wouldnt be fair to say T-ara overworked because I believe working hard is subjective and everybody strives hard in their competitive entertainment industry. Popularity is also subjective, and i think we ought to give credits to T-ara, who showed dedication in delivering entertainment values to fans and viewers alike. It is not right to speculate when nobody knows the entire story inside out, besides 7-ara themselves. But as the entire community is lambasting and backlashing this entire episode, honestly speaking, nobody will step out to clarify anything. In this heated moment, negativity surpasses all positivity. As much as we believe in upholding justice, i believe we should do ourselves justice by letting the adults themselves handle the rukus they have created. Everyone is just adding fuel to escalate the problem. And it is not what happened that matters. It is the correction made to improve the situation that matters. The company clearly has failed to address this issue well. Anyway the company does not even have good track records in handling such issues. I just want to say, sometimes in life, we adapt to suit to the environment we are in to survive. This is basic human survival instincts. Failing to let your subjects feel recognised, appreciated and loved; always subjecting them to fears of getting booted out - is not a healthy way to manage people. It is the psychological warfare that people has been using to manipulate one another. Everybody wants to stay afloat. Nobody wants to sink... This is utterly an after effect of a poor management company. Greed, insecurity, whatever. Understand how the company has been running, the decisions that were made and you'll learn to empathize with everyone embroiled in this situation. It is never right to cover up the wrongs, or condemn the wrongs, but embracing the wrong and taking appropriate corrective actions.

  18. I do believe T-ara’s Hwayoung add to the group depth, while her replacement Ahreum is dead weight. I do think because of Hwayoung growing polarity, the other girls mistreat her in some way (outcast). Do miss her w/Tara, CEO/CCM made a terrible mistake on letting her go.
