Disney+ to raise sub fees in Korea, off the back of 'Moving' success?

Article: "I'd rather not watch" Disney+ suddenly raises subscription rate by 4,000 won

[+1,919, -12] This is pathetic. The only thing Disney+ had going for it was that it carried 'Moving.'

[+606, -18] Yeah, I was going to cancel my subscription anyway after I finished watching 'Moving'

[+232, -21] Not like there's anything worth watching on it anyway...

[+35, -13] Seems like a short-sighted move. Koreans have already been complaining about there not being enough to watch, but they were just starting to build up some credibility with 'Moving' and this should've been an opportunity for them to invest more in better content to bring in more viewers, not raise prices and turn away the subscribers that they managed to get in the first place. People who joined for 'Moving' are just going to leave.. especially when there's not enough other content to make up for the drama's absence once it's over.

[+11, -4] Just watch the YouTube channels that summarize 'Moving' for you in 10-minute clips

[+4, -1] Poor 'Moving,' it would've hit daebak on Netflix but it's stuck in Disney+ jail now

[+3, -0] Sucks that Netflix didn't catch 'Moving.' There's really nothing else to watch on Disney+.

[+3, -0] This sounds so dumb. The reason Netflix is able to get away with price hikes is because they still have shows worth watching on their platform. There's literally zero on Disney+. It was only just recently that they landed on 'Moving,' and they're really going to do price hikes over it? That's just going to drive people to torrent it instead.

[+3, -0] Who the hell raises prices by 40% because of one hit drama?

[+3, -0] Bye bye for me after 'Moving'~ there's really nothing worth staying for

[+3, -0] Raise it all you want, I'm only subscribed for 'Moving' anyway ㅋㅋ
