ENHYPEN fans are not happy about the group's comeback choreography

[+54] I will admit that I'm a bit turned off by the fact that it seems like the dancers are taking more of the spotlight and using ENHYPEN to promote themselves when the stage is supposed to be about ENHYPEN. This whole thing has just poured cold water over fans who've been waiting 10 months for this comeback. 

[+45] Who even came up with the idea of every single part being with a female dancer???? This kind of stage would make sense for a year-end celebration but to have this all week long? Fans have every right to be pissed. It's obvious that the idea was suggested by someone who has no idea how the idol industry works???

[+44] At first I thought fans were exaggerating.. but now that I consider that one of the members is a minor, I do think the company should've been more thoughtful about incorporating dances like this. I think people would take this issue more seriously if they had been a girl group with a minor member.

[+43] Yes, we're not mad about the group having female dancers. We would actually welcome them if the choreography was better made ㅜㅜ (the beginning part is fine). Unfortunately, they're getting in the way of all the members' individual fancams and they take up such a large amount of the stage that people are even calling them a co-ed group now. ENHYPEN has become a guest of honor on their own stage ㅜㅜ and why do the dancers keep staring into the cameras themselves? ㅜㅜ Us fans were so excited because the album sounded so good but who knew that the company would splash cold water on us like this with the choreography... on their title track, no less ㅜㅜ ENHYPEN is only four years in so this choreography will be around for a long time ㅜㅜㅜ

[+36] Fans are not mad at the fact that they're dancing with female dancers.. We're upset that the dancers take up so much of the stage that we're not even able to see them in fancams. Their on-point dancing is what the team is known for but to have seven members + seven dancers on stage at once just makes the stage look messy...

[+36] Fans are already pissed that they had to wait 10 months for this comeback. Now we're pissed again that they've basically become guests of honor on their own stages with all the spotlight being put on the dancers. All of this would've been fine if it was for their concert or year-end special but to have this many dancers all week long on music shows... I'm here to see my idols, not having dancers get in the way of my vision. 

[+35] When I first saw their dance clips, I just thought, "Isn't this a normal idol dance?" but I do agree that if they had been a girl group, this would definitely be problematic. 

[+31] When I watch their fancams, I can barely tell if I'm watching a boy group or a co-ed group. That's how much space the dancers take up. They even stand in front of the idols and cover them away from the cameras. The choreographer is problematic but whoever OK'd this is just as much so. 

[+26] First comeback after 10 months to a choreography like this... their company is just not it...

[+25] I also thought fans were whining out of line but I saw the clips and agree with them now. Idols should always be the main feature of the stage but to have all those dancers crowding around them makes everything look too messy. 

[+22] You can't even see the members in the fancams. Who is this dance really for?.. ㅠㅠㅠ And this is such an important timing for their careers... Their company better stop ignoring all this feedback.

[+20] Even Jimin is 10 years into his career and fans still aren't a fan of his new dance, so I can understand how upset ENHYPEN fans must be over this

[+20] What I'm curious to know is who had the bigger influence in deciding this choreography? Hybe or CJ? Or are they both the problem? 

[+19] This is the kind of company that would put out a concept like this at a pivotal moment where the group should be gathering more fans, not losing them. 

[+17] I'm tired of companies putting s*xual concepts on groups with minors. What is this for? Will companies not stop until they're banned from doing it by law? Learn to draw the line while you're still free to do so. 

[+12] I couldn't tell how bad it was in the music video but now I see the problem with all the fancams coming out. Their company is ruining their chance at success. Their new song is so good, too. 

[+9] There's a part where a dancer caresses Jake's lips with her finger... they shouldn't be allowed to touch the artist, right? Especially when they have make up on? She straight up grabs his chin and caresses his lips. 

[+9] Controversy aside, what's going to happen when they start doing international concerts?? All those female dancers are going to go with them each time?? Or are they just going to cut this song out??

[+4] This concept would've been better if they had saved it for when the minor members matured and the group had built up more years in experience~

[+4] ENHYPEN's fandom is divided between their domestic vs international fans, and they are both reacting in extremely different ways. Their international fanbase is basically in constant war with the domestic fans, and they fail to understand why the choreography is considered problematic over here. They don't think it's as bad as we're calling it. I think issues like this are why the group has a harder time building popularity in Korea.
