Producers held a press conference on the 9th and revealed the full footage of the finals to the reporters. The footage showed that the match had gone on for 10 minutes when producers noticed that the sound coming from the pulley was too loud. The sound began with Woo Jin Yong's side and later got loud also on Jung Hae Min's side, and producers decided that the sound made the footage unusable. Out of concern that the pulleys could be broken and might be cause for injury, they paused the mjatch, sprayed the pulleys down with 'WD', checked the axis, and restarted the match. The match was paused again 26 seconds later when they noticed Woo Jin Yong's rope had tangled. Jung Hae Min was whistled at to stop. Producers reiterated that producers had given the finalists the option to stop the match here and have a rematch after a few days of rest or both finalists can consent to continuing the current match. Both consented to finishing the paused match on the same day.

1. [+78, -6] But how can we trust the producers to have shown the complete and unedited footage of the match...?? How do we know that they didn't edit it to make their story sound right?? Because I'm sure producers have a different defition of "unedited footage" than us viewers would have? The first statement made by the producers said that they did not do a rematch, but it turns out that they did, just not in the rematch that us viewers were thinking of ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, what a funny situation... What an interesting way to release the footage ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+33, -0] "Any further accusations of rgging or suspicions will be dealt with by legal action"

3. [+23, -1] This is really their best excuse?

4. [+13, -0] If one side was in the lead and you forced them to pause the match, then that is the beginnings of a rig!

5. [+8, -0] So basically everything the runner-up said was right

6. [+8, -1] Embarrassing for a show that's being watched globally on Netflix~~~

7. [+7, -0] We have no reason to trust you after you said you never made them do a rematch but it turns out that they did. Why did you lie?

8. [+10, -5] This sounds totally rigged. They edited the final footage to make it look like they had completed the match in one go. How does editing all of that not make it rigged?

9. [+4, -0] Sounds like the press conference wasn't to clear up rumors but to threaten legal action for any further accusations ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Yeah, I don't think I'll be watching season two after this

10. [+4, -0] The PD himself said that there was no remathc, but as it turns out, the match was indeed paused and the contestants were made to continue, which makes it a rematch ㅋㅋㅋ and how do we trust that this really was unedited footage? Especially when reporters were prohibited from filming the footage ㅋㅋㅋ What kind of ploy is this?

11. [+2, -1] Either way, none of this is Woo Jin Yong's fault and I feel like he's getting hate for no reason.

12. [+1, -0] That sounds 100% rigged
