Video talks about how a has brought up concerns that Joy only posts on Bubble 2-3 months, once even taking 28 days for a post, for the past two years, and barely posts anything even when she does while the other members post more consistently. One fan commented, "So Joy has the time to send texts to her boyfriend but not to her fans?" while others said, "It's a paid service so I can see why fans are mad. And I can definitely see why some fans might think this way since she also got into a public relationship as well. Fans have a right to be upset... They deserve to be given the service they're paying for," and, "Whatever her situation is, fans are paying a monthly subscription to talk to her so she has an obligation to deliver. She has been too absent," while others argued, "This service is probably stressful for idols. There are some people who just don't like texting. Joy seems to be busy with her drama and is barely on Instagram. I can understand if she's too busy for these things..."

1. [+208] I think the fans are right in that this is a part of her job

2. [+176] It's a service that fans have to pay for so I can see why they're mad... but the system itself is so exhausting for the idols too. They have to deal with mentally ill fans who are allowed to leave hateful comments. It's just a system designed to rip money off of these fans.

3. [+86] I think the only members who take care of their fans the most are only Wendy and Seulgi. They seem to have the best characters too.

4. [+127] So many people are working difficult jobs for minimum wage. I think it's wrong of her to not visit her fans on the app because it's "too hard" to wiggle her fingers a bit on her phone ㅋㅋ

5. [+157] From Joy's perspective, having to be on Bubble for years is just a job to her at this point... but I can see why fans are disappointed since they're paying for something that she's barely putting effort into.

6. [+121] I used to think 4,500 won a month is not a big deal but it is lately... I think there's some setting where idols are penalized if they don't send something at least once a month and it felt like a lot of idols were just doing it out of obligation so I canceled my subscription. I bet there are a lot of idols who don't like doing this stuff.

7. [+86] I don't think it's Joy to blame but the system that keeps fans subscribed even when idols don't come visit

8. [+79] I don't think most people are aware of how Bubble works. Fans are happy even with one picture update a week, and it's not necessarily a communication tool but just something for idols to share updates on what they're up to. The group I'm subscribed to really shows how much they think of us fans every single day. One of the members makes an effort to say hi consistently and another member has some deeper messages talking about how grateful she is that her fans are with her. Sometimes there are so many message updates that even I get lazy checking them all. There are times when I get over 40 messages a day and sometimes 100 piled up if I don't check for 10 days. Yes, I know that being an idol is hard, but considering that this is a job that relies on the love of other people, I wonder if it's really that hard to even say hi to the people who are giving you that love...

9. [+20] Honestly, Bubble isn't a necessary service but 4,500 won a month adds up to a lot of money. I'm also a subscriber and I feel so happy even when I get a simple message like "hello". For someone like Joy to even give her fans that feels so inconsiderate to them. She had the time to post 90 ads on her Instagram in September but no time to write "hi" to her fans on Bubble? I really had no idea that it'd be Joy of all people who'd be like this... She's always posting Instagram stories and stuff so I assumed she was very active in communicating with her fans...

10. [+27] This is a job to idols...

11. [+121] You get charged for Bubble once a month so it feels like a waste of money when you only get one message a month. Like is it really worth paying 4,500 won to receive one message?

12. [+79] She must be busy with her relationship, tsk... Communicate more with her fans.

13. [+172] Apparently Bubble alerts idols who haven't sent a message in over a week. A few of the idols on Bubble told us this. They said the message says >>You haven't sent a message in 7 days. Please send a message to your fans<< I can see why fans are upset since she's getting these messages but didn't send any to her fans in over a month. This is a paid service after all;

14. [+29] And yet Joy's the most active on Instagram

15. [+47] Imagine ordering 4,500 won worth of food at a restaurant and you only get it days later, you'd be pissed too

Video: Red Velvet's Joy is back on Bubble after her controversy?

Source: TBig News via YouTube

1. [+112] Just seems like an issue with Bubble in general, and it feels wrong to blame this on the fans. Wouldn't you all be mad if you were subscribed to Netflix and they refused to post new content?

2. [+112] I think apps like this just need to go. Seems like a stress for all parties involved.

3. [+23] She doesn't have to love her fans but she does need to be grateful for them. Who is it thanks to that she gets to live the life that she does? It's inconsiderate to her fans for her to only show up to say "thanks" or "I love you" whenever she needs something from them like to promote stuff on SNS or at award speeches.

4. [+31] You idols don't exist without your fans. Be good to your fans.

5. [+67] It's not just Bubble, a lot of other idols got hate with stuff like V lives too. Some members would stream on V live whenever they're bored but it would always be the same members and certain other members would never stream so fans would get mad asking if they were cheating them out of these streams. I'd rather companies just set a public schedule for these Bubble and V live things. It'd probably be best for everyone's mental healths.

6. [+14] I think any normal person would blame the app more than anything. It totally blurs the lines between work and private time. Being a celebrity is just another job after all.

7. [+117] Even if she didn't care for it before, isn't it fine if she's back on the app after seeing all the news and puts in an effort from now on?

8. [+8] Everyone, subscribe to Kim Minjoo who sends a minimum of 3 selcas a day and endless messages~

9. [+3] I guess these idols only ever pay attention once they get in the news for it

10. [+26] How do fans even know if this is really Joy and not some company staff?
