Minhyuk had left a comment on a woman's Instagram asking "Why don't I have your number?" causing the woman's boyfriend to leave a comment back asking why he's asking his girlfriend that. Fans took notice of this exchange, leading Minhyuk to write a clarification post on the fancafe explaining that the woman is his ex-girlfriend and that he was just curious what she was up to, had no idea she had a boyfriend currently, and to not exaggerate it for anything more than it is.
