1. [+350, -56] Sulli-ya, at times like this, you're supposed to just apologize. Why are you learning such naughty things from Krystal? Is it so hard to just say sorry? Whatever your intentions were, a swear that means 'have sex with your mother' came out of your mouth. The first step is to apologize. Maybe because all you ever sing are songs with weird lyrics, but that doesn't mean you can become weird yourself.

2. [+347, -48] Fellow member Victoria is Chinese and there are a bunch of Chinese members in SM so it doesn't make sense that she used the swear without knowing what it means. She also performs in China a lot, I'm sure she knows the meaning. The criticism towards her is justified because she used it not in a private setting but on broadcast.

3. [+324, -27] cao ni ma ㅋㅋ Quite the strong swear in China. Just apologize, especially since you're a public figure.

Article: Sulli's Chinese swear controversy, "Didn't know it was a swear... there weren't any special intentions"

Source: E-Daily via Naver

1. [+107, -42] I doubt she really doesn't know what it means considering she's been with Victoria, a Chinese member, since she was a trainee.

2. [+58, -6] I didn't even know what cao ni ma was and now I practically have it memorized. This is why a celebrity's public image and popularity are so important. She should at least apologize. The PD already apologized and all Sulli's doing is saying she didn't know what the word meant when the first step to any of this is apologizing.

3. [+49, -5] Well, there are idols who were exiled just for using the word democratization wrong so of course someone who uses a swear as strong as 'fu*k your mother' should receive the same treatment ^^
